I'll give you all a much simpler test, with the same results he provided... Start your car, without a/c running. See if one fan comes on after a minute. If not, your radiator fan isn't working... for some reason. The cause could be the fan motor, the fuse, or the sensor. If it does come on, go back and turn your a/c on, the other fan should now start running. If it doesn't, see same possible problems above... No tablet or computer needed. I came on here to see if he would provide a way to find out which possibility is the problem... not to be sold a diagnostic tool. Guessing most of you did as well.
Lol ....I can activate the 1 fan (not ac) by setting to low temps say 15° but not noticed that same fan come on at high speeds .. Yirn ac on straight away ac fan comes on pretty much . But again not noticed Amy high speed on either
You showing how to test the fan and everything els with the most best scan tool and then expect someone who watch this to buy a $10000 scan tool before doing anything? Mate think before making an other video or private message me I should how to test the fan with out anything no need scan tool at all ✌️
He is supposed to MEASURE THE ELECTRIC CURRENT through the fans while they are running, but he is just too reluctant to do it. Just because the fans can spin in variable speeds, it does not mean 1) these speeds are correct, nor that 2) the fans didnt start going bad. It seems he has no idea about electronic engines.
Don't try to be some car geeg bro There no sutch a think like variable speeds here This is Mazda or Ford wherever... there is speed one and speed two , the guy is just tryin to show you how to test if the fan is working or not.... so don't be smart ok?
Great video. I have a 2010 Mazda 3 and the fan works only when the AC is on but it never comes on otherwise. The engine temp on idle reaches at times up to 120c and still it does not come on. I bought a dealer level scan tool and did the test as per the one you did and the fan works. What could the problem be ?
Great video thanks for the info Pls. Can you tell me if my 2010 Mazda 6 has a same fuse box like the one on the video and is there a fan control module for this model. I have been fighting a overheating problem due to a fan problem and I can't figure out ... I know the fans are good because I put 12V straight to the connectors and they work , but they wont turn on when the car is idling when stoped and that drives me crazy Some people will say there is control module that can fail and won't turn on the fans , but I have been digging deep and I can't find one ... again it's 2010 Mazda 6.
Yes that's normal. The fan will always rub rub ac is switch off and car is idling. The fan is not always switched on at high speed when ac is off even when idling
I agree. I think he’s getting money to advertise that testing unit. It does not take 15 mins of freaking around with a fancy tester to look visually if the cooling fan motor is spinning or not. Run the vehicle for 15 mins and if fan works it should start spinning.

Great video thanks for the info

I’m having the same problem but with the fans not working my ac isn’t working in idle. Did you figure it out ?
Any joy ?. I'm assuming so ? Thnx
@@aaliyahwilliams2177 same problem did you figure it out?
Have just pretty much replaced every part in Mazda 3 now fan does not work, purchased another, changed fuse still not working.
Anything up im having the same problem rn?
Ever figure this out?
@@lemuelbecc no never have, , replaced heat sensor, fan, As it’s been winter wasn’t too concerned but now warming up going to put a manual switch in .
@@titanx04 That is a clever solution
What is the system checker you use to test fans and where can I purchase one?
Hi great video I have a mazda cx7 and the fan runs fast with the ac but they seem to run slow when the ac is off is that normal
Yes that's normal. The fan will always rub rub ac is switch off and car is idling. The fan is not always switched on at high speed when ac is off even when idling
Thank you guys so much
I have a 2010 Mazda 3. The A/C doesn’t cool during the day but at night it cools just fine. Why?
This happened just before my compressor died. I have the same car
Bro I thought it was a home test. Not all of us have a scanner. This video is useless.

Lmao they are so helpful youre goofy
What shall I do if i don't have the machine to detect the problem?
Find another video. This one is useless if you don’t have Autel
My 2009 Mazda fan will not stop and drains my battery, please help
why don't you just put ac on max should turn on fan or fans.
You tell him. He’s just advertising that fancy testing scanner.
It seems that all you do on these videos is show off your fancy scanner. Thanks but no thanks
I agree with you Richard.
What happen if it passed the test but wont come on yet
Si pero mi Mazda cx 3 tiene las partes en otro lugar? como lo hago?
Thanks but...who has one of those computer things.
Please stop saying "guys". Very distracting.
Seems like Mr. Vladimirnsky Putinsky does not read ENGLISHKY
Mazda 2 fan not coming on, please help
