I DO NOT OWN MUSIC IN THIS VIDEO
It could be just me but I like the outer display design of the pixel better
I still don't mind that "chunky" left bezel because that is what gives the pixel the slightly bigger screen. Also I don't really have small hands and that tiny 2mm left hinge doesn't bother me . I do wish the tensor was a bit strong tho.
OnePlus actually has the larger screen, both on the spec sheet and by simply looking at them side by side.
I totally disagree the software on the oneplus open is absolutely fantastic i even like it better than Samsungs software
I guess it does come down to preference.
@@MTGProductions well yes if you like the boring software of apple not being able to change any settings then of course you will prefer Google
@jasonelliot9633 Agreed
@@jasonelliot9633calling features alone are hard to pass up with Google. I hate switching to any other phone because of it.
@@jasonelliot9633 Bro you could customize the pixel just not to the extent of Samsung but still customizable way more than what people think 😂😂
Why no one mentions the IR blaster on the OnePlus Open...Its one of the best hardware feature which is stopping me to move to any other phone
Because they don't use it. I use mines on my OnePlus Open and find it very useful.
Great review/comparison as always!
Can you please Add the newest oneplus open (crimson) and the Z Fold 6 to “pt 2” of this comparison please?!
Would love to see an in depth comparison of all 4 in terms of Hinge Quality, performance, battery life, camera, and multi-tasking. Am a power-user and I’ve been wanting to buy a foldable for some time now because of the multi-tasking features but I’m super skeptical of the previously mentioned categories because it just feels wiser to use something like the s24 Ultra without having to compromise on build quality (hinges), camera reliability, software bs, battery life or performance… Would be great to multitask more but that means nothing if am paying more $ for a compromise in any one of those areas.
The OnePlus Apex is the same exact phone just with 1 TB of storage
@@ryan2824 ohhh, didn’t realize 😅 looking forward to the hardware/software comparison of all 3
Things like microphone quality, speakers, are also things OP nails over the pixel fold. Dont own the pixel but from camera comparisons the open can pruduce greater shots, whereas pixel is more consistently great.
Nice review, I too love my OnePlus open and I can't wait until the OnePlus open 2 comes out. You failed to mention "stylus support" for the OnePlus open and I'll take "fast charging" over wireless charging anyway.
Oneplus is still the best foldable .
Absolutely you are totally correct
It all comes down to peoples preference which they like better and what fits their needs .
They both have pros and cons oneplus feels cheap
Great product terrible customer service. I returned it just because of that
@@AndrewSmith7 well that's not to smart they all can have bad customer service
@@AndrewSmith7 I had worse experience with Samsung . Have been using there phones since last 9 years . Especially there fold support is horrible .
I like your review because many are on the new p9p fold band wagon. I have the oneplus open and Z fold 6. The one ui 6.1 is better in terms of software over oxygen. However, the hardware and overall user experience is better on the oneplus open, in my opinion, for a phone that is about a year old running snapdragon 2. I can't imagine how good the oneplus open 2 will be. The main issue I have is customer support in terms of repair. Samsung and Google are much better for warrenty in the US if you break your phone , which is not talked about with the Oneplus and other Chinese foldables. It takes a while for repairs to get done with oneplus, plus you are out of the phone for over 9-10+ days, so you will need another phone during that time and you pay upwards to 500 to get it fixed if the screen is cracked. No phone repair in my area could fix my craked screen because the screen has to be ordered from oneplus. Samsung may not be the best fold anymore and needs to step their game up greatly because they can but are lazy and dont listen to their customers. However, they have a good warrenty program plus the 1200 trade-in deal for my Z fold 5, which Google did not have for my Z Fold 5, so cost do matter. Samsung switched out my Z fold 5 when I cracked the screen, and I only had to wait 3 days for the replacement, and they gave me time to turn in the broken phone, so I still had a phone. People may talk about how great the Majic V3 Pro is. However, if it breaks, you will have to deal with the same issues getting it fixed. People dont always consider this when getting a Chinese folding phone and operating it in the US.
The larger bezel equals larger inner display.. I'd rather have the larger inner display, so I'm fine with the bezel
Rather have a more premium look on the outside screen and a slightly smaller inner display(still very big) and lighter
That doesn't make any sense the inside screen is still huge on the oneplus open so if oneplus can do it right then why can't Google that outer display is extremely important something Samsung still doesn't understand and the vivo x fold 3 pro is 8 inches and doesn't look like that
@@jasonelliot9633 the Pixels inside screen is larger than the OnePlus
@@kramdens1967 I know it's barely bigger 7.82 vrs 8.0 so what what's your point?
@@jasonelliot9633 I'm just telling you that's the fact, they extended the bizzle to make the inside display bigger. If you don't like it, don't buy the device.. I'm not saying it couldn't be smaller. I'm just saying that's what they're saying..
Explain to me why do you think the camera on the OnePlus Open is not gonna beat the 24u or 15ProMax? Really wish you would stop making statements like that without showing proof. I bought s24u and fold 6 and the 15pm family member has it and 9 Pro Fold I haven't gotten around to try it out yet.
@@kendrelewis5465 I don't owe you an explanation. Video doesn't suffice? Move on.
@@MTGProductions You owe your viewers an explanation! I stopped watching the video as soon as you mentioned the OnePlus Open and pixel 9 Pro Fold don't have as good of cameras as the s24u or 15 Pro Max. You are giving out untrue information!
@@kendrelewis5465 untrue? Show me your video! Again like I said, if you don’t like move on. I don’t have to make content to give anyone an explanation. Your experience may be different than mine which means we could have different thoughts.
@@MTGProductions it's not hard to start a TH-cam channel. I just don't have time to do it. I buy the same phones you buy and I know from testing them myself that you're being biased.
@kendrelewis5465 so just because I don’t have the same opinion as you, I am biased?
Honor Magic V3 says, "Hold my beer."
Only issue is that v3 is not available at US By big well know companies. That is stopping elms to buy the v3!
@@armandoarroyo I bought mine from Wonda Mobile and paid only USD $1579.74 for the global version with 12GB ram and 512 GB storage.
The video production needs work. Good luck.
You seem to be an expert on video production! want to teach me?
@@MTGProductions I'm not a troll. That was some constructive criticism so you could make your craft better. I don't know sh*t about video production or content production but I know what kind of content I would like to watch.
Constructive criticism would be sharing in detail what needs work.
@@MTGProductionshe basically talking about your camera losing focus too many times during filming... It was also showing blurry shots as well.
I think homie was using a cell phone fr@@Batman-D
I have both
I prefer the pixel ❤
@brahney What made you pick the Pixel over the OnePlus?
I'd have to pick the pixel over the oneplus. I'm still using a fold 5 even though I've had my fold 6 since pre order
I was in the same dilemma. Ordered both and I am keeping the OnePlus . OnePlus is just better .
@hk6926 What made you decide the OnePlus over the Pixel 9 Pro? I have both and it is a hard decision. The camera on the Pixel seems more consistent, but I don't use the camera a lot. They both have their good points, just makes it hard to choose.
Vivo fold smokes them both.. it’s got meh speakers though
I would love to try Vivo!
