@@BrannonNod one thing that others should know, if the headphones are too quiet that they should use the volume up on the actual headphones. I've been mad about the lack of volume and it went to max on bluetooth, thought that was as high as it went until I messed with the volume on the actual headphones... MUCH better 🤣 Now I'm satisfied 😅
I recently got a Q30. It is my first headphone. I decided to use it while I´m cycling, doing laps of around 4,8km in my suburb, keeping an average speed of 20km/h. The noise caused by the wind, even with the anc on, was very high and annoying, mainly when I was facing it. So, I decided to turn the headphone off. However, before doing so, I put my hand in front of the left phone to prevent the wind to hit it and to my surprise the noise, like a pass of magic, stopped. Then, the next day I cut two pieces of black soft rubber (kind of) and using sellotape I fixed them around each phone. The intention, of course, was to try to deflect the wind. I jumped on my bike and I couldn´t believe the result. The noise was almost completely cut off. Sometimes 100%. On average I would say 95% or more. I also noticed that if I kept my head up the noise decreased . Now I can use my headphones without bothering about that annoying noise.
Don't you think it's kinda dangerous to completely cut off even the sound of the wind while cycling? It'll be much harder to be aware of your surroundings.

The mic on the LQ30 is not great but not bad either. That's the only con. I prefer Xm4's looks, but you can't beat price and feature set on these for $80. BTW; NC on Sony is just a tad bit better, menial difference.
Hi love your take on these! I'm considering buying them mostly because im often on planes and trains and my biggest concern is is it comfortable for hours on end and do people around hear your music as well? thank you so much!
@@lou-salomearlandis3742 Yes they are quite comfy. The new version should be worthy also but only if the price difference makes sense to you. For me, the upgrade doesn't seem enough to merit the price. So myb wish list both and wait for a discount on either one. For your concern about noise bleed, well.. if you keep them at 65-70 volume, given there's a person right next to you, they won't hear a thing. The NC is quite strong btw, I barely use it (you feel the pressure, which means it's good but depends on tolerance), tho transparency mode is what I use most. For long trips where fashion is not a priority (or not being able to charge them often) I take the LQ30's for it's long battery life and comfort. Lastly: There is third party ear cups support (amazon) for LQ30's for when the faux leather wears out.. with hardcore use they will need a replacement. I am on my 1rst ear cups replacement, but it's cheap anyways, and are more comfortable than stock. Just make the decision based on price, all the headsets and earbuds from Soundcore are great. The app is amazing too. Take it from me; who owns and owned expensive brands, it's not worth it in my opinion.
You sure are well detailed when it comes to sound tech' might I suggest for your next video a review about huawei freebuds pro they're pretty cool though😇
Bought this pair of headphones, and Im loving it! Very comfy to put on and snugly sits in my ears, with ANC that satisfies me; I'm okay with 5% of noises seeping through. Now I don't need to turn up my volume to the max in noisy places. I'd rate it 5/5 stars but minus one star from the minor issues, but I understand as these are budget headphones, even though I don't feel that it is low-end.
Hi I’m thinking of getting this too however I’ve seen comments from different videos saying that these headphone Q30 headband crack after 2 month or else

@@JoshBuns I like the colour of beige from Sony however I’ve already had cream color from my old headphone and I’m thinking of getting something new color which is black since it’s universal color and I won’t have to worried bringing them outside without getting them dirty
I’m curious how the recently released Q20+ compares to the Q30. Have you had a chance to check out the Q20+ yet? I like that the Q20+ connects to 2 devices. Not sure if the Q30 does or not. The control buttons on the Q20+ look nicer too. No idea how they compare in performance though.
I don't know about the q30's, but ( also coming from the overblown price Sony xb wireless ) I just discovered the q10's are CRAZY 😂 I'm team Soundcore, as long as they keep prices reasonable. I should have paid a little extra and waited a little longer for the all blacks; I'm not crazy about the look of the red and blacks.

@@BrannonNod Thank you! I went ahead and bought it. My only regret is that it does not have a mute button (where you can listen to a call but turn your mic off).
Thanks for the great content. I have the Q20 hand have a couple questions regarding the new Q30: 1. How long does one need to hold the power button or the ANC button to use it? With the Q20s you need to hold both down for at least a full second or two for them to turn the power off/on and the ANC off/on (which for some reason really annoys me) 2. Does the BT headphones have a sleep/hibernate function if no sound comes through for a certain amount of time? I find that sometimes I leave the Q20s on and walk away and wish that this function was present. 3. You mentioned 40 hours with ANC on, can you specify how many hours in regular and with ANC off? 4. Are the earcup sizes the same, smaller or larger than the Q20. I have small ears and even so wish the earcup size of the Q20 was larger. 5. Are you able to charge and use the headphones at the same time? Do you need a charge at all when using the 3.5mm cord? Is the sound comparable, worse or better when using a 3.5mm cord?
Oh My you mu Friend are extremely interested in these headphone.. As you should they are Amazing 👍 Looks like I have my work cut out for me. @@BrannonNod Thanks for getting back to me and I am already a very happ subscriber. According to another review video that I saw it was reported that the Q30 earcups are slightly larger vs. the Q20 (so that's good). I really enjoy your content. Please keep it up.

@@BrannonNod Thanks for the info. I had read some where that ANC on REGULAR was also 60 hours which I thought was odd. Sounds like the Q30 is 40 hours in either REGULAR or AMBIENT mode. Too bad Soundcore kept in the 3 second hold for POWER ON/OFF. As someone that uses the Q20 daily I find this extended delay annoying and unecessary. Also too bad about the no use when charging (my old August BT headphones had this which was nice). Since both the Q20 and Q30 have fast charging I guess it's not too much of a big deal that you can't use the headphones when charging since a 5 min charge = 4 hours of playtime. In regards to the 3.5mm cord the following would be nice to know if you use the Q30 as commuter BT headphones: 1. Can Q30s be used passively with the 3.5mm cord or do they need a charge to be used with the 3.5mm cord? If you're on a train/metro and your Q30's are drained in power it would be nice to know if you can still use them if you plug in a 3.5mm cord. 2. Does ANC work when in 3.5mm mode? I do know that Soundcore doesn't provide a 3.5mm cord with a mic input so you lose mic/cell phone call abilities when in 3.5mm mode. For the Q20 I find it very annoying that the the POWER LED doesn't stay on when the headphones are ON (this does occur with the ANC LED but not for some reason with the POWER LED). I would have much preferred that Soundcore designed the POWER LED on the Q20 so that the LED turns green when ON and turns red when charging (which is industry standard). Since the POWER LED only turns on momentarily when turning the Q20 ON/OFF it's pretty much useless to be used as a visual cue regarding the power state of headphones. Does the POWER LED stay on with the Q30 when it is turned ON? Finally.... do you think it's worth $80 to upgrade from the Q20 to the Q30? I definitely think the Q30 is worth $80 if you don't have a pair of BT headphones but am unsure if you already have the Q20 if its worth upgrading. I wish Soundcore would have also incorporated aptX, aptX-LL and/or aptX-HD codec use into the Q30s. That would have allowed the Q30s to really compete with the high end BT headphone models and sealed the deal for me in regards to upgrading from the Q20s.
Hey Brannon, Thank you for this review. I am in the market for wireless headphones. Can you tell me if these are comparable with some of the other premium counterparts that cost more like the Sony Wh 1000 and the Bose 700s. Would you recommend these for noise canceling and music quality? Thank you for your response.
In terms of sound, they compete quite well with the Bose 700's outperforming them significantly in treble in my opinion. Compared to the 35 and wh1000 Xm4's they don't have the same refinement in bass compared to Sony or the super clean feeling of the bosez but if you were to listen to them in comparison I genuinely don't think you'd feel disappointed. The biggest difference is in features and sound cancelling as well as the Bose being slightly more comfortable. My family members personally take preference to the Q30 over the Bose 700. With about a draw between them and the 35ii's. It's just the sound cancelling that really feels any different.
Relatively cheap but not paying retail though. Luckily I don’t feel it necessary to get tech as soon as it drops. My Q20s will tide me over until these puppies go on sale. Great review, btw
The Q30s honestly murder the Q20s. I have both and holy crap, these surprised me just due to how MUCH better it was. I love my Q20s, but I just sold them, these replace them EASILY. For the price, you can ALMOST compare them to the xm4s from sony, and that's saying a lot. 👍🏻
@@ranmasaotome2876 you realize that sound is subjective for people right? For me they sound better. Kinda can't argue with a conclusion on the subjectivity of my ears can you? You must be fun at parties. 😂 *Plays Eminem* *Plays Nas* "They sound the same!" ...lol
How are the q20s? I am thinking of getting the q20s. Q30 and q35 are priced overly and are at the same price in my country. people in comment section even said that the q30s are not at all durable and break easily within 6-7 months
Quick question, I use my headphones mostly as I’m going to sleep. I currently have Sony H910N’s which have touch controls on the outside of the ear cup. This drives me nuts because if I lay on my side and my arm touches it , it activates Siri or anc or something. Are these goi g to drive me nuts the same way with turning noise canceling on and off?
Great review! Does the EQ you set with the phone app apply only to sound played on the phone? or is it setting the EQ within the headphones so it is applied regardless of the source? Thx
Very late reply to an old comment, but in case anyone else has the same question: The EQ settings you set in the app are stored in the headphones and will be used no matter what you use the headphones with until you change the settings again. Unfortunately, there's no Soundcore app for PC at this moment, so any configuring will have to be done through the app, with the headphones connected. That said, it's a very small sacrifice, especially if you don't mess with your EQ often.
Is there a headphone that dont make others listen what i listen when they near to me ??. I mean to supress the sound and i only can hear not anyone beside me .

How big do you think the difference in quality is compared to a SuperEQ S2 headset, I have those ones and I'm thinking about updating :D
You sure are well detailed when it comes to sound tech' might I suggest for your next video a review about huawei freebuds pro they're pretty cool though😇
Hi Brannon i wonder if they are comfy with eyeglasses ?❤
Hi Brannon , u did not talk about Q30 that match! But it’s ok i need ur advice what should i pay between Q30 and soundPEATS space?
Does the ANC work when using the AUX cable? For example when on a plane using the airline monitors? If not do you know of any brands of headphones do?
Hi. Q30 sounds great when listening to music. How do you improve and increase sound when listening to a call.
I was hear first! Love the video, superior production quality blew me away! Subbed.
Thanks so much Jack🙏
Welcome Aboard 👍
Nice review that coverd everything 👌
Hey man , what adapter do I use for this
Can I use a regular Samsung adapter?

Hahaha Thank You So Much🙏👊
Just for that intro, subbed and notifs on.
Much Appreciated My Friend 🙏
Love that intro 🙂👍!
Why Thank You👍
I have these and the Liberty 2. Both are excellent
@@noradriana4712 that sounds like something that happens when people don’t use the hardshell headphone case
@@JoshBuns I think so too . Or they are the type of people who are doing extremely rough activities for example bringing the CHEAP headphone to gym etc
@@JoshBuns now I’m even more confused which one to choose either get the Sony ch520 or Soundcore Q30 .. aghhh
@@JoshBuns I like the colour of beige from Sony however I’ve already had cream color from my old headphone and I’m thinking of getting something new color which is black since it’s universal color and I won’t have to worried bringing them outside without getting them dirty
My son said he wants a pair now, thanks.... lol. Looks like a good Christmas gift, not a lot of scratch. He loved the intro!
What’s the benefit of the q30 over the a 20
I’m curious how the recently released Q20+ compares to the Q30.
I had the q10s for about 4 years before the padding started to rip then I upgraded to the q30s. Sound core is my go to
Have you used these phones with the 3.5mm lead and if so do you need to charge them and switch them on, OR, just plug them into a PC, laptop or phone and they work immediately without switching on ?
The Soundcore Life Q30 and the Soundcore Lifetune headsets the same product, yes?
Hello, one question. Between this headphones and the edifier w820 nb which do you recommend? which one has better ANC and sound?
Thank you so much for this review just purchased the pink ones 😍
Pink? They have colors👍
They do indeed!!! a stunning light pink!!
Nice hopefully they'll do that with the Q35 as well🙏
This is the first time I seen the black case. Are they providing the black in the U.S.?
How about comparing this Q30 to Q20? Which is better?
que tan buenos son para el Gaming?, o que auriculares inalambricos me recomiendan por un precio similiar a los Souendcore life q30
Which one would you choose if you could only have one? The edifier w820nbs or the q30s?
I'd have to give it to the Soundcores
Please
Am not English man
Which one is better
Bose qc35 or Bose qc45 or Sony or what?
And what is your opinion about soundcore life Q35
Or Sony xm3
) in this level price)
Which one is the best highquality of music details ..
Help
How would yo compare them to Sennheiser Momentum 3? For sound quality and comfort?
Am owning my self Soundcore Life Q30s, and Sony WH-1000XM4. So its stupid to say in the name of the video that Bose and Sony who!!! Anker yes, cheap. But they not even a bit close to Sony, ANC and sound quality of Sony is on another level.
Lol your Opinion
You've made me a subscriber with this review! I was wondering, is there any information on the range of the Bluetooth signal? Is it 20ft or up to 50ft like some models I have been looking into?
Thank you for the review and in advance for your follow-up! Keep up the great work!
Awesome Welcome Aboard 🙏
I believe up to 35 feet
@@BrannonNod Thank you! I went ahead and bought it. My only regret is that it does not have a mute button (where you can listen to a call but turn your mic off).
There's an app for the headphones on phone, but can you configure the settings on PC? If so, how?
Have you tried downloading the app on pc?
Is the NC works using the phone with cable?
Will ANC work on plane watching film?
Dude what a nice intro
Thanx so much🙏
Is there any headphones that are still noise cancelling a cheaper price and good quality?
Great video! The intro is a little bit too long though but still great video!!
Thanks for the great content. I have the Q20 hand have a couple questions regarding the new Q30:
1. How long does one need to hold the power button or the ANC button to use it? With the Q20s you need to hold both down for at least a full second or two for them to turn the power off/on and the ANC off/on (which for some reason really annoys me)
As you should they are Amazing 👍
Looks like I have my work cut out for me.
I'm working now but with given time I will try to answer all questions as soon as possible.
I only ask 1 Favor...Make sure to Subscribe and Share.. it Helps me keep making videos 🤪
@@BrannonNod Thanks for getting back to me and I am already a very happ subscriber. According to another review video that I saw it was reported that the Q30 earcups are slightly larger vs. the Q20 (so that's good). I really enjoy your content. Please keep it up.
@@smithmal01 Awesome glad to have you Aboard👍
#1 just press and HOLD for 3 sec Turns power on and off/ Pressing Button and Releasing Changes all modes of Normal/Transparency and ANC
#2 I'll have to test further as it didnt seem to go into any sleep mode?
#3 40 hrs w/ANC 60 hrs without
#4 You Have the Answer from another channel.
#5 No Unfortunately you are unable to play while charging.
Hope this Helps ? Stay Safe🎧
In regards to the 3.5mm cord the following would be nice to know if you use the Q30 as commuter BT headphones:
Thank you for your response.
the premium couterparts are better, but if you look at the price difference you get more bank for your buck with the q30s
I want to purchase these to replace my beats solos & apple air pods 2
Is the Soundcore Life Q30 better than JBL 660nc in terms of sound and noise cancelling?
Nice review overall 🔥
One question tho , can i connect it to my smart tv ?
The tv does support Bluetooth
Yes if your TV supports Bluetooth 👍
@@BrannonNod much appreciated
Just ordered one your review definitely helped me
Awesome.. Im Loving theses Headphones 👍
Hi! Could you please post a video on testing the multipoint connectivity of this headphone?
Relatively cheap but not paying retail though. Luckily I don’t feel it necessary to get tech as soon as it drops. My Q20s will tide me over until these puppies go on sale. Great review, btw
The Q30s honestly murder the Q20s. I have both and holy crap, these surprised me just due to how MUCH better it was. I love my Q20s, but I just sold them, these replace them EASILY. For the price, you can ALMOST compare them to the xm4s from sony, and that's saying a lot. 👍🏻
@@Ibonic they sound identical
@@ranmasaotome2876 anndddd that's where you're wrong... but okay.
@@ranmasaotome2876 you realize that sound is subjective for people right?
For me they sound better. Kinda can't argue with a conclusion on the subjectivity of my ears can you?
You must be fun at parties. 😂

"They sound the same!"
...lol
How are the q20s? I am thinking of getting the q20s. Q30 and q35 are priced overly and are at the same price in my country. people in comment section even said that the q30s are not at all durable and break easily within 6-7 months
Quick question, I use my headphones mostly as I’m going to sleep. I currently have Sony H910N’s which have touch controls on the outside of the ear cup. This drives me nuts because if I lay on my side and my arm touches it , it activates Siri or anc or something. Are these goi g to drive me nuts the same way with turning noise canceling on and off?
Hey is there any difference in the noice cansling between the q20 and 30q or is the q30 better ?
Once you wear your headphones too long the noise cancellation stops working a bit and you can hear background noise.
One thing never talked about is they work great without having to take out my hearing aids.👍
Thank you for that info🙏
can we listen using usb c to usb c cable?
i only have the Soundcore life tune available in my country, is it the same as the life Q30s or any difference?
I would agree very good price as well 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hello friends, do you know if the q30 works with a 3.5mm jack having the battery at 0%? Sorry for my English I don't speak it
Yes they should do, as most people including myself use the wire when I need to charge them !!
Great review!
Does the EQ you set with the phone app apply only to sound played on the phone? or is it setting the EQ within the headphones so it is applied regardless of the source?
Thx
Wow Great Question?
I've only used the app though my phone.
I'm pretty sure you can use the app on a pc or laptop as well.
All I have seen on Amazon Is how these have major quality control issues with alot having to be returned for anc issues
Is there a headphone that dont make others listen what i listen when they near to me ??. I mean to supress the sound and i only can hear not anyone beside me .
