I have been using 30€ headphones for 4 years now (they still work pretty nice but u can tell they went through alot) and every headphones is a massive upgrade for me and I just so happened to stumble upon these headphones, hope they will be nice if they arrive this week
@@PapitoBlack7 I've owned these for just over a year now. they're really good value for money but I was tough on them (using during workouts and stuff) so ear muffs broke down 9 months in and noise cancellation would have an audible rumbling noise. I don't regret the purchase one bit though, and the headphones on normal mode isolate sound well enough on their own
I got an offer from SoundCore for the Q30 headphones and pre-ordered them. They are nicely comfortable Quite useful when I want to isolate from other activities around me. Lovely build and functionality at this price. Nice case as well.
The mic is perfectly adequate for the price. I'm really interested to see how the new Q35 stack up in terms of value. They're obviously better, but are they worth nearly 50% more money?
I am thinking about buying the Q30 or these ones but I can not decide it yet between the two, there are many users that have complains about the Q30 and the fact that they are 2 years old now is worrying me for the future and updates , the main thing that is important for me is the ANC and sadly i didnt find direct comparison on youtube about these two.. Since u used the Q30 can you tell me more about them, how was the ANC, latency on yt videos and netflix, mic quality and sound quality when using teams, zoom etc. The thing that makes me want the Q30 more is the fact that they come with a nice case and the app has and EQ and different modes when compared to the Edifier app where you dont have anything like that and the lack of 3.5mm jack also is a minus for the Edifier from me.. but the difference in price is also huge in my country so that is mainly why i have not decided yet.. the Q30 cost 105 usd and the edifier w820nb cost half the price ( 52 usd) .. I will be thankful if you share your opinion and experience on this and give me some advice.
That is why I'm such a huge fan of Anker/soundcore budget friendly with quality speakers, earphones and headphones (I love the soundcore q20 plus, I had the previous one the q20 and my goodness it feels amazing to be able use it again for anything sound related) I'll definitely one day buy the q30s for sure. Subbed by the way.
Hey, THANKS! After watching/listening, I canceled my order for BOSE 700, and bought the SONY XM4, saved some money, and am happy with my choice for noise cancelation. Again, thanks a lot! (I'm moving to an apartment upstairs from a bar.)
Taotronics 90 is cheaper than Q30. My question is the Q30 worth spending more for better anc and sound quality? I wonter these two headphone's anc performance.
Another option is the q20 which is the same sound and same noise cancellation basically just no ambient mode and micro USB vs usbc. That's like $30 less than the q30. I might go down even more on Black Friday
Just bought a pair of these, as my new phone had no 3.5mm jack, yet as it is IP67 rated, a happy trade off. My first impressions, good comfort even wearing glasses as I do. The sound nicely adjustable through the EQ, as the base was a bit boomy, and they don't aggravate my tinnitus by being too harsh on the high end sounds. I paid just under £50 for them, glad I did.
For a moment I was having a heart attack of how much better are these Q30's, but then I saw the noise cancelling part of the video and I got releaved for my XM4 purchase! :D
Just a small correction, ldac is actually very bad in terms of latency so you will also get high delays using it. It's main advantage is higher bitrate but at the expense of latency. Aptx is much superior in this area with both high bitrate and low latency.
TH-cam and most other music/video apps correct the latency by delaying the video too so you'll have literally 0 latency with any and every bluetooth headphones except in games, but no one games with ldac
Mark is too honest to be the trendiest youtuber, no wonder few companies will send him products, but I would like to have a delay test for different things like youtube, movies or games. Great video, you deserve to get millions out of the job you are doing.
I've had them for almost a year and my only issue with them is the headband. It's too heavy. If I'm cooking or loading the washing machine, they constantly slip forward. I have to take one earcup off and place it behind my ear just to make sure they stay on my head. Also an issue when lying on my back, they want to fall backwards off my head. Makes the sleep sounds on the app completely pointless because I physically can't wear them lying down. Other than that, I don't think I could've bought better.
Thanks, just bought these. I found them a little tight but I wear frameless glasses. Too much clampimg force. One thing ALL reviewers miss is how they are while wearing glasses. The ear cups will apply pressure on the glasses arms and so this should be reviewed.
@@Archangel657 Not great to be truthful. Just rewatching this video while wearing the Q30s, even while using the wired option with a mini ipad there is lag.
Soundcore are the best bang for the buck headphones around. They easily outperform Beats and push both Sony and Bose with audio quality, and out do them for price and functionality.
nah, taotronics anc headphones are not comfortable to wear for a long time. I owned 2. Ear will start aching after 1-2 hrs. Q30 has excellent wearing comfortability.
Your review has been thorough, well scripted and very informative. I have the xm3 and my missus loves them, but I have been hesitant to shell out on something where something else far cheaper would do relatively the same job for her. As a result I got her the Q30's. She did want these over the xm3's as she didn't want me to buy her headphones in the first place, but I know how much she loves mine and I hate how she just settles for the "out the box" mobile headphones. So thanks to your proper investigative approach, you've greatly helped me in my purchase. Overall video from me is excellent in every criteria. Thanks!
11:50 I'd love to hear a direct comparison between this headphones and the skullcandy hesh anc, as I am not yet sure which one to buy bearing in mind that I love bass but too much is too much (like skullcandy crusher series) so I wonder which one best fits my needs
@@eltoncorreia1121 when you’re making a phone call, these Sennheiser have sidetone. It uses a couple mics to hear yourself clearly talking on the phone and also provide ambient awareness. The sound quality of these cans are absolutely amazing.
Love these headphones. However, i would disagree about mic quality. I haven't used it on a call yet, but EVERY reviewer that has done a mic test, the quality sounds pretty bad to me, extremely muffled and the voice seems to drop in and out. Still a great review though.
Transparency mode is just okay. It sounds pretty natural, amplification is just on the quiet side. It's really not bad but it doesn't seem to have multiple settings for ambient sound. There's normal mode (no ANC and no transparency), Transparency mode (only one default setting), and ANC mode which fortunately does have a few different settings. In my house talking to someone is okay with transparency, but not sure if it's be practical for being out and about...maybe. Noise cancelling is pretty good for $80. But it's not going to beat the XM4's on ambient noise or ANC. Sound is good though. Fun, strong bass &treble on default setting. Many EQ presets to choose from and the option to make your own. And the EQ actually works and changes the sound profile. I'm happy with my purchase.
Seeing as the XM4 are 4 times more expensive, it was really hard for me to justify buying them. I don't have much need for amazing noise cancelling, and while the sound is probably better on the Sony's, I don't think it is $270 better lol. The flagship Sony and Bose ANC models are absolutely overpriced. They are not THAT much better than this headset. And bluetooth devices will inevitably fail over time the battery will lose its charge capacity, or they'll stop connecting, or you'll break something and be out hundreds of dollars.
I got those three Head phone's Q30,. MX4 And Bose 700. XM3....they are very very good headphones until now...I injoy it much more... Cheers you're headphones 🎧🎧🎧
You gave the Taotronic 90s and these a 9/10 in sound quality. I got the 90s a few days ago and I'm not that happy with them because they are not loud enough and I don't feel the bass. Will these be better in that department for the hassle of returning the 90s and paying 30 more dollars?
I agree with you in many categories but I don't understand how you rated the mic quality so good and you didn't mention the sound quality with NC on, in my opinion the sound quality with NC on is poor. Regards
Yeah, I heard the Bose was better, but that comparison was so good. I'm trying out the Bose now. I'm super sensitive to sound but hoping I can return the Bose headphones and get budget headphones.
I don't understand how every headphones reviewer talks about fit and comfort and yet doesn't talk about the comfort of your ears inside the cups. Do your ears touch the dust filter? Ears get hot quicker if they do and no one talks about this.
Will you review the Q35's? Or perhaps make a comparison video between the Q30's and Q35's? Can't find any of those in your channel, which I found weird to be honest 😅
I got these on the early discount offer and like them. I'm looking for comfortable & easy to live with. Nice case, good battery life. Good frequency range as well. Soundcore are generally nice products at a reasonable cost.
Great review! But what do you think about the Q35s? LDAC, motion sensoring, improved mic with KI and the possibility to speak via cable, even when the headphones are off - is it worth buying over the Q30s? I'm a new buyer and these would be my first wireless over-ears, so would you say I should directly go with the 35s or are you recommending the Q30s still? (Price tags currently are 64€ for the Q30s and 99,99€ for the Q35s) Keep up the great work, you are amazing!
Tried the Q30. Sound quality is really good, love the equalizer. That's everything that's good about them tho. They feel cheap and even sound cheap, cracking the whole time when you move your head. The ANC is absolute garbage (used Bose QC35 for 4,5 years before and already thinking about buying them again instead of the Q30) and it really annoys me how they can't switch properly between two devices.
Got some q30, they stick out and I look a bit dorky. The anc is good for budget but I do get a sound , bit like a low whine when cancelling transport sounds.it’s not sound sucking like Bose silence , good buy for a cheap headphone good enough.
The Q30 sounds really good over BT with some EQ'ing, but wired, they sound awful. The EQ is lost and they are boomy and muffled. I expected them to be better than BT. The clamp force is too tight on my head. So, I use them over my Sennheiser Momentum TW2 buds with both in ANC mode and the QC 30 not connected, when running my ride-on mower. The sound can be played at normal volume and all is pretty quiet, but for some high frequency rattling. The clamp force can be tolerated for the 3 hours as I'm otherwise distracted, but I'm glad to take them off.
Hi; I'm trying to find the strongest/smartest ANC in this price range and I don't care much about anything else than silence (without music), and extended wear comfort. What would you recommend if these are my only criteria -- most powerful ANC and pretty comfortable?
With A BTR3K Bluetooth Reciever the Q30 Can Get LDAC CODEC and it sounds Noticeably Better When I Do This Over The.AAC SBC That Is The Best Q30 Can Do . However The.Q35s Still Sound Even Better When Using Them With LDAC I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT SOUNDCORE RELEASES AFTER THE SPACE Q45
You do such a good job on these reviews. While I don't always agree, I salute your attention to detail on just about everything. I have a hard time believing you don't have 10X the subscribers.
Please compare Q30 with edifier w800bt and w820nb. They are rated even higher on amazon. (UAE amazon atleast) AND same price. There is only one such comparison on youtube and in spanish.
The Q20 also have multi device pairing, however it's bad. If you connect them to your phone and a muted device, when you turn the headphones off, they will bring the ringtone volume on your phone all the way down, and that almost caused me to miss my morning alarm. I don't know is this the exact reason or not, it only happens when my phone pairs to the Q20. So I never used them on my phone since, nor on my Mac either because they always struggle to connect and mess up my Apple Music audio output. Now I use them on my iPod and iPad which are always muted and work all fine. I don't know do the Q30 have this problem or not.
Hi there What pair of headphones you would choose among these three: -Soundcore Life Q30 -Tribit Quite Plus -Taotronics SoundSurge 85 Thank you very much from a follower
That stretch test that you did with them - Surface 2 Headphones would snap in half on the first attempt)) Mine did in less then 6 months of regular use with no extra stress like you showed here. And MS refused to replace or even repair them for my money. Ordered Q30s - will see how it goes. Thanks for the review and especially for the mic test!
@@axzel4038 going pretty good. I had some strange behavior when my Q30 stopped connecting to my devices as a headset, instead it pretended to be just headphones (with no mic). I reported that to Soundcore and they sent me another pair for free, so now I have two of them :) Both pairs have an issue with connecting to my desktop (both under Win10 and Linux Mint), but that happens only when Q30 thinks that desktop is the second device. If I disconnect them from the phone/laptop first (and turn off Bluetooth on that device), then connection to the desktop usually goes through. So I can't say that it is definitely a headphones issue, as there are no problems with connecting to my Pixel phone, or my MacBook - perhaps some Bluetooth version mismatch or something like that.
Wondering how it compares to Tranya H10? dyplay Urban Traveller 2 also has multjpoint pairing and AptX, but for some reason AptX can sound distorted and lacking in bass in some tracks, at least with my devices. I thought it was the device but when I tried my older 1More MK802 headphones I noticed the same distortion with AptX.
I just received the Q30s earlier this week. Very impressed by the overall feature set and sound quality. The dyplays still have far more superior ANC and build quality
@Jorge Martínez The Q30s have a great bass response, a bit more towards the midbass with some sub-bass as well. The Dyplay doesn't have as much bass and sounds really bright (may be too abrasive for some listeners).
@@Jamnts09 I do wish these had more treble extension though. They don't sound veiled but there is a roll-off which the EQ settings don't really help much with. I like using the Piano EQ preset though, as it adds some midrange and treble clarity.

Maybe i missed it, but are you able to use the Q30 without the app? Can you change/activate ANC without using the app and just by clicking the buttons on the headphones?
Good review, thanks! But i have a question. I want the headphones for work. Using them mostly for conference calls. I look at them cause they say Q30s have ambient sound cancelation on microphone. I have 4 kids and thats my main topic. To have others in my room watching TV, but the one that im talking with dont listen another sound diferent than my voice. Do you know if Q30s are good doing that?
I'm really thinking hard about getting the Q30s. Tell me, all those fancy whistles and bells that are accessible through the app on your phone - how are they activated if I'm connected to another device? If I'm connected to, say my PC, will I still be able to use the equalizer and the different Noise Cancelling modes?
Which headset do you suggest for someone who’s ears stick out ALOTT! The bose qc35 ii in my country is only 200$ should i go with that and a used one is 150$ or should i go with the spundsurge or ankor?

I have been using 30€ headphones for 4 years now (they still work pretty nice but u can tell they went through alot) and every headphones is a massive upgrade for me and I just so happened to stumble upon these headphones, hope they will be nice if they arrive this week
how are they?
@@VantaBaythey very very good for the price i cant even believe it my self.
According to this review the only downside to the Q30’s is the mic and lack of LDAC hi-res audio. So the 35’s check those boxes.
Tried them to and decided to keep them.. These headphones are excellent..
9:44 I could feel the hand on my left year 😲
I purchased the q30 on Amazon yesterday, I am so happy I stumbled upon this review, now I’m super exited to try them out
I am thinking about buying the Q30 or these ones but I can not decide it yet between the two, there are many users that have complains about the Q30 and the fact that they are 2 years old now is worrying me for the future and updates , the main thing that is important for me is the ANC and sadly i didnt find direct comparison on youtube about these two..
I got the q45 and I really recommend you upgrade because if you like the q20s you will love the q45s💜
Hey, THANKS! After watching/listening, I canceled my order for BOSE 700, and bought the SONY XM4, saved some money, and am happy with my choice for noise cancelation. Again, thanks a lot! (I'm moving to an apartment upstairs from a bar.)
The sound of the q30 really comes to life with the right eq settings. I've tested the sony's and the q30 with eq sounds better
should i buy this headset for music? i listen to hip hop and r&b a lot
@@Bi3MaRk yes, use Mr Cow's eq and they are great
3:37 I had a heart attack, I'll check this headphones, thanks for the review, keep going :)
same
Lol same
I'm tempted to buy them more than before ! Waiting to get them available in Canada !
Man the chrome detail and matte finish just looks so good 😍
Taotronics 90 is cheaper than Q30.
@@michaelcorcoran8768 also no app support or multipoint pairing
I just q20 on sale for 10 bucks in my country
How good/bad is the latency?
@@Archangel657 Not great to be truthful. Just rewatching this video while wearing the Q30s, even while using the wired option with a mini ipad there is lag.
I just got them yesterday. At first the clamp force was pretty tight. However after a few hours they are breaking in nicely and I feel fine with them
That's what I call a excelent and usefull review, tks!!!... subscribed!... cheers!
Soundcore are the best bang for the buck headphones around. They easily outperform Beats and push both Sony and Bose with audio quality, and out do them for price and functionality.
Soundcore Life Q30 sounds great and superb comfy, and best of all super cheap.
Q30 vs taotronics anc headphones
nah, taotronics anc headphones are not comfortable to wear for a long time.
These reviews are helping so much on my purchase decisions, you are great!
This was easily the most in depth and helpful headphone review I've ever come across! Thank you and keep up the great work!
I own the Sennheiser HD458BT ANC. Great price great sound.
do they have sidetone? (you can hear yourself talking)
@@eltoncorreia1121 when you’re making a phone call, these Sennheiser have sidetone. It uses a couple mics to hear yourself clearly talking on the phone and also provide ambient awareness. The sound quality of these cans are absolutely amazing.
Thank, would u say the sennheiser hd458 bt are better then soundcore life q30 I Will use the headphones like 8h a Day.
Love these headphones. However, i would disagree about mic quality. I haven't used it on a call yet, but EVERY reviewer that has done a mic test, the quality sounds pretty bad to me, extremely muffled and the voice seems to drop in and out. Still a great review though.
Honestly, that is just built-in mics in general. If you really want a mic, you don't rely on a built-in one, especially on wireless headphones.
I just bought a pair of Q30s in BF... noise cancelling is a bit weak, but for 56 bucks you can't really ask for more
You forget to talk about the Ambient Sound.
How is it?
Is it robotic or artificial?
Is it on pair with the Sony XM4?
@@WinterReflections its fairly easy to replace the battery on the xm3 and xm4...if need be of course
I got those three Head phone's Q30,. MX4
And Bose 700. XM3....they are very very good headphones until now...I injoy it much more... Cheers you're headphones 🎧🎧🎧
If anker make better passive noice cancellation, their anc will work better :) i hope q40 will be
You gave the Taotronic 90s and these a 9/10 in sound quality. I got the 90s a few days ago and I'm not that happy with them because they are not loud enough and I don't feel the bass. Will these be better in that department for the hassle of returning the 90s and paying 30 more dollars?
Would love to see a comparison with TaoTronics Soundsurge 90 (tt-bh090)
I have been searching for it the whole day today😥
I agree with you in many categories but I don't understand how you rated the mic quality so good and you didn't mention the sound quality with NC on, in my opinion the sound quality with NC on is poor. Regards
OMG xm4's anc quality is insane.
Best comparison ever❤🔥
Holy crap the Sony noise cancelling is amazing 😂 I was gonna try and save some money but I really need ANC so I might go with the Sony
Yeah, I heard the Bose was better, but that comparison was so good. I'm trying out the Bose now. I'm super sensitive to sound but hoping I can return the Bose headphones and get budget headphones.
The Sony's sound quality is ......awful. Really awful. I mean 5 Below headphone bad.

I don't understand how every headphones reviewer talks about fit and comfort and yet doesn't talk about the comfort of your ears inside the cups. Do your ears touch the dust filter? Ears get hot quicker if they do and no one talks about this.
No touch is around your ears and doesn't get hot depend if your room is hot 🔥 enough to scort you
@@mollies13 Thank you, that's a fire comment ;)
it gets hot and slightly touch the ear which isnt good for extended listening. but touching the ear would depend on size of ear.

Interesting! Awaiting your feedback about Q35!
Will you review the Q35's? Or perhaps make a comparison video between the Q30's and Q35's?
Can't find any of those in your channel, which I found weird to be honest 😅
They dropped to £55 on Am*zon this week... snapped myself up some. Will do a full train test next Tuesday. Also kudos on choice of theme tune ;-)

Hello. Do you know if they sell earmuff replacements for when these ware off?
I got these on the early discount offer and like them. I'm looking for comfortable & easy to live with. Nice case, good battery life. Good frequency range as well. Soundcore are generally nice products at a reasonable cost.
Hey, does the ANC work when wired for these headphones?
bose qc35ii sound quality better? And what about comfort?
I was thinking of buying these, can you use these on pc and play videogames?
Dude when you stretched them I thought they would snap in two.they looks quite strong while stretching them.
The Q30's seemed to have better ANC than the Bose to my ears
Hey, how do these compare withthe Soundcore Space NC?
Soundcore Q30 and Harman Kardon fly anc. Which one better?
Great review! But what do you think about the Q35s? LDAC, motion sensoring, improved mic with KI and the possibility to speak via cable, even when the headphones are off - is it worth buying over the Q30s? I'm a new buyer and these would be my first wireless over-ears, so would you say I should directly go with the 35s or are you recommending the Q30s still? (Price tags currently are 64€ for the Q30s and 99,99€ for the Q35s)
Keep up the great work, you are amazing!
@@user-ng1rn5ib8l what did you buy. My Bose just died 😩
Honestly, just came across these for 62 bucks incl tax 'n shipping. Decided to give them a chance
Have you tried Oluv's eq? Then they sound nearly perfect...
Hi; I'm trying to find the strongest/smartest ANC in this price range and I don't care much about anything else than silence (without music), and extended wear comfort. What would you recommend if these are my only criteria -- most powerful ANC and pretty comfortable?
I’m searching for that too. Which headphones did you choose (if you did)?
How are these for working out or what would you recommend for working out?
Noticed that Monoprice recently dropped the BT-600ANC and I can't really find any reviews for those. I wonder how they stack up?
Of all ANC headphones you've tried and reviewed, which one is the best affordable one for online classes, gaming, streaming music/movies?
Great video! How do they compare against the Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2?
But if you had to choose between taotronics 85 and soundcore life q20?
I got a question
Would the Q30 be good enough for the gym. Because I don’t want to her the gym music that loud or the other people while working out.
With A BTR3K Bluetooth Reciever the Q30 Can Get LDAC CODEC and it sounds Noticeably Better When I Do This Over The.AAC SBC That Is The Best Q30 Can Do .
However The.Q35s Still Sound Even Better When Using Them With LDAC

Are they better than Sony XM-H910N or Fastrack Reflex Tuners headphones
Can you do a review on the new Jabra Elite 85t’s?
Please compare Q30 with edifier w800bt and w820nb. They are rated even higher on amazon. (UAE amazon atleast) AND same price. There is only one such comparison on youtube and in spanish.
Should I buy the Q30's or the old XM3's? and is it okay to use them as studio tools for producing music?
Good stuff. Which ones would you say are some the best noise cancelling budget headphones? thoughts on VANKYO C751 ?
dont mind me watching the dvd logo waiting for it to hit the corner...
They didn't fix this unfortunately. The second device connected has lower volume and you must equalize them yourself.
Hi there
What pair of headphones you would choose among these three:

Is this Soundcore q30 better or the Mixcder E10??
And oh yes a solid video from my best headphone reviewer 💥💥
That stretch test that you did with them - Surface 2 Headphones would snap in half on the first attempt))
Mine did in less then 6 months of regular use with no extra stress like you showed here. And MS refused to replace or even repair them for my money.
Ordered Q30s - will see how it goes.
Thanks for the review and especially for the mic test!
How’s it doing now?
@@axzel4038 going pretty good.
I had some strange behavior when my Q30 stopped connecting to my devices as a headset, instead it pretended to be just headphones (with no mic).
I reported that to Soundcore and they sent me another pair for free, so now I have two of them :)
Both pairs have an issue with connecting to my desktop (both under Win10 and Linux Mint), but that happens only when Q30 thinks that desktop is the second device.
If I disconnect them from the phone/laptop first (and turn off Bluetooth on that device), then connection to the desktop usually goes through.
So I can't say that it is definitely a headphones issue, as there are no problems with connecting to my Pixel phone, or my MacBook - perhaps some Bluetooth version mismatch or something like that.

dyplay Urban Traveller 2 also has multjpoint pairing and AptX, but for some reason AptX can sound distorted and lacking in bass in some tracks, at least with my devices. I thought it was the device but when I tried my older 1More MK802 headphones I noticed the same distortion with AptX.
I just received the Q30s earlier this week. Very impressed by the overall feature set and sound quality. The dyplays still have far more superior ANC and build quality
@@FrankyboyLegend What about the bass?

Yes you can
Good review, thanks!
Did you test them with the *provided* AUX cable? In wired mode, nothing works! Not the app, Not the EQ, and not the active noise control.
Great review my dude !
