Ive tried the sony version 4 (cant name them right now but its the 350 dollar headphones) and while the sonys look more aesthetic these soundcore are on the same level. The sound is great, the app is very easy to use and the equalizer actually works great. Get them if you want bang for buck. 80 bucks is not cheap but they are totally worth it, i copped mine at walmart
Maaaaan, this headphones sound incredible, more gentle than the XM4s for my ears, also, noise cancelling is great too, is not like I will go to a place with jackhammers running while I listen to music.
The new design on the Sony XM5 is amazing. Indestructible pretty much. But I got AirPods Pro 2 instead to save some money since my Bose QC35 are still going strong at seven years old.

I really wish I had come across your review earlier. …been troubleshooting the MIC pickup issue with SoundCore support to no avail and now I see I am NOT the only one. The poor MIC pickup sounding "digital", or muffled, during phone calls is a deal breaker for me. Everything else (comfort, build quality, and sound quality) for this headphone is really fantastic even outperforming other audio headphones costing twice as much. If they ever perfect the Microphone pickup, then this complete package would be a major contender to the higher priced ANC headsets.
It seems the noise reduction is too excessive rather than the mic quality being bad. There is an upcoming firmware update that will fix this issue (though it probably means they won't cut as much background noise). Some people already have access to the beta update but it hasn't rolled out to everyone yet.

However the Q30 got "forked" where newer units have a new firmware that no longer allows you to use ANC with a cable (and it sounds terrible due to the lack of the internal amplifier and DSP). Anker reps made a number of excuses like "it interfered with Bluetooth performance", "chipset manufacturer disabled it in the latest firmware". It is likely they just had different chipsets and Anker did not want to admit there was a hardware change. Fortunately I had one of the older units which didn't get this firmware update.
Listening to this on my Q30s. With a little bit of tweaking within the app they will not disappoint, I can guarantee that. Especially for that pricepoint (You can even often find them on AMZ Warehouse Deals as good as new for around 49 bucks).

I've been listening to them on a nearly daily basis ever since and they never disappoint. There are some good videos on YT for the tweaking of the manual EQ and with that little "fix" you get the best out of them. Really very good bang for the buck
What would you compare the sound quality of the liberty 2 pro's vs the q30's? I now own the liberty 2 pros and with my custom eq they sound phenomenal and very sparkly and I'm interested in these but want to know how they compare audio wise.
Tbh I think their sound quality would be very close. Q30 has bigger sound drivers, as the L2P has that Astria Coaxial business which make them sound fenomenal. Either one could edge out the other, but I'd say by a tiny margin. Edit: Not Liberty Pro 2 (LP2), but Liberty 2 Pro (L2P)

Dayum! I received the Q10's a month ago and am very happy with them but these seem to almost perfect! I struggled to understand why Anker put micro-USB and a less lively sound on the Q20's but now they seem to have grinded out those mistakes and made a good hybrid between the Q10's and 20's.

I am about to get my Q30 tomorrow. I was just wondering, If i set an eq to my headphones using my phone, will the eq reset whenever I connect/use the headphones to another device? If I use Aux will the eq reset to stock aswell

Nah if you haven't already. Don't. My dad got these ones and he had to return them because it keeps bothering his ears after few songs played so i don't recommend these on people with ears that stick out but personally i didn't have the same issue with mines they fit well for me

It uses a lot of metal in construction. But plastic is not good enough. In my pair of Q30, I have cracks on the corners of the sliding mechanism. On both sides. Still working good, but looks terrible.

I own the Evo and the Q10. Have to say that Evo are in a class of their own. Nothing, I mean nothing beat this haptic bass. But little Q10 give them a run for their money, also true.

I was wondering, I own a pair of the skullcandy crusher wireless (2018 model) and I was wondering the bass response of these compared to the crushers. For me I use the bass slider on the max, does these get close to those and have better clarity or about the same?

Similar...Walmart had life 2 nc which were similar to q20s....these are like offline versions which show up at Walmart and target...life tunes just showed up in app update which iS brilliant
i prefer these over the sonys, i really just dont think the sonys sound good. i had tried various EQ settings, different music services, everything under the sun and i just could not make them more clear and less muddy. obviously the sonys have better ANC and microphones, but for 350, theres just no way to justify that price tag. these sound better out of the box, they still need a little tweaking but i think these have a much more realistic sound to them and the mids are not drowned out like the sonys. i returned my xm4s to amazon and got these with $250 to spare! great vid keep it up
anker soundcore q10 is by far the best for children. only 40 bucks, surprisingly durable, sounds hella good, long battery life, fun colors, it's just prefect for you children

The Bass is insane, it feels heavier than Sony XM4s, but Sony's Bass is like a quiet Bass that pounds the head non stop, that is how I can explain it, somehow when turning down the Bass on the XM4s there is still a Bass frequency I can't get rid off, a little bit the same with the Soundcore for for the price the Soundcore sound INSANELY good for my ears, more easy on my ears than the XM4s.

Nah if you haven't already. Don't. My dad got these ones and he had to return them because it keeps bothering his ears after few songs played so i don't recommend these on people with ears that stick out but personally i didn't have the same issue with mines they fit well for me

ambient mode is actually really good, I had no issues hearing people talking and it does sound slightly digital

It uses a lot of metal in construction. But plastic is not good enough. In my pair of Q30, I have cracks on the corners of the sliding mechanism. On both sides. Still working good, but looks terrible.

I own the Evo and the Q10. Have to say that Evo are in a class of their own. Nothing, I mean nothing beat this haptic bass. But little Q10 give them a run for their money, also true.

It's definitely an interesting model. Think they made the cuts in the mics for calls then it seems, which in truth, is reasonable; otherwise sounds like these could be the budget ANC can to get now..Great video bruh 👌🏼
mics don't really matter to me so I am more than happy that they may be what they sacrificed in this model

I was wondering, I own a pair of the skullcandy crusher wireless (2018 model) and I was wondering the bass response of these compared to the crushers. For me I use the bass slider on the max, does these get close to those and have better clarity or about the same?
Clarity is better on these but the bass is nowhere near the max bass on the Crusher Wireless

i prefer these over the sonys, i really just dont think the sonys sound good. i had tried various EQ settings, different music services, everything under the sun and i just could not make them more clear and less muddy. obviously the sonys have better ANC and microphones, but for 350, theres just no way to justify that price tag. these sound better out of the box, they still need a little tweaking but i think these have a much more realistic sound to them and the mids are not drowned out like the sonys. i returned my xm4s to amazon and got these with $250 to spare! great vid keep it up

anker soundcore q10 is by far the best for children. only 40 bucks, surprisingly durable, sounds hella good, long battery life, fun colors, it's just prefect for you children

The Bass is insane, it feels heavier than Sony XM4s, but Sony's Bass is like a quiet Bass that pounds the head non stop, that is how I can explain it, somehow when turning down the Bass on the XM4s there is still a Bass frequency I can't get rid off, a little bit the same with the Soundcore for for the price the Soundcore sound INSANELY good for my ears, more easy on my ears than the XM4s.
