Oh this looks really nice, I started learning Ardupilot a number of years ago and have built two vtol planes. But it’s great to see a pnp solution!
I was hoping you had some videos showing your two VTOL planes. Which planes are you using?
I'm building a MFE Fighter and a MFE Freeman but I thought this new Jumper aircraft would be a good VTOL option to use in my backyard.

Pretty cool. I've seen a few "Jumper" kits out there. It's a real bonus for those who what to try other Jumper products. All you need is a radio and you good to go. I wish DJI made a boat or a plane or something like that. That be nice (sorry, I was dreaming there for a sec) I know it not their market focus. But these other manufacturers like are making products to attract different users and expand their market. I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but it's nice to see they are attempting to appeal to different users. I've seen other VTOL. It requires no runway and if you looking to fly at altitude it great. Great video!! Detailed as usual. In spite of not having a manual, you did a great job of explaining the set up procedure. Thanks for the great video. I suspect the production models will have more info included in manual.

I see that ardupilot fonts are available for the wtfos dji goggle root. So maybe need to turn something on using the ardupilot configurator.?
I didn't know Jumper made planes.
I love this type of packaging, sort of hard case.
It is great that it comes with individual wings, if you crash and ripp one off, you can easily replace it.
Lots of features with this plane, i liked the telemetry script in the jumper t-pro.
I have heard of VTOL planes before, but didn't know they could be used as drones. Have you tried the drone mode ?

My preference is to use the DJI controller/transmitter for control link (instead of having a ELRS or other RX). However, that would require the pixhawk FC to support the protocol DJI outputs for control signals. Any idea whether it can do that?
DJI uses SBUS which is pretty standard. I imagine it should but this is also a custom FC which I currently do not have full documentation on yet. The plug connector that's included does have the wires for SBUS so it probably will work but I can't confirm yet.
Would it be possible to know what kind of fc is exactly on the vehicle as i would like to try it with px4
There are no identifying markers on the board that I can see and on the product page it says it's running some version of ardupilot so I assume it's some kind of custom pixhawk hardware but they didn't say what it was exactly.
Maybe if the FC is connected to the Ardupilot software it will show the target ?
Does it have a failsafe return to home in case of signal loss?

Small remark: on beta flight you have to activate MSP port on the uart of the vista
This does not run Betaflight
@@AlbertKimTV yes, i know (probably Ardupilot?!). But I assume you might have to configure it. As well as as the MSP custom OSD on the vista. BTW: I’m getting probably mine next week & hope it will provide OSD with DJI. Cooling might be there also a problem…
