Hello! We had no intention of stealing the design. Our engineers could not properly contact the developer. We are now going to start cooperating though. If you still think we don't deserve your money, there is nothing i can do to change your mind. This was simply a matter of miscommunication on our side.

Wow that's a new one to me but as a 30+ year fixed wing builder and pilot I've never heard of Piper Aircraft company getting so bent out of shape because a bunch of RC aircraft enthusiasts replicated their designs or any other aircraft manufacture for that matter. Also being a 5+ year part 107 holding drone pilot I see knock offs in that world all the time in fact evryone who's flown drones for a while probably even own a knock off or two. Hell not that long ago I noticed a Massive Drone frame clone on Amazon for $15 and laughingly emailed the link to Neil who is part owner and designer. His reply back was "Cloners gunna clone! Means we are doing something right.." So really not sure where your animosity is coming from here. I'd never think even copying something conceptual could be considered logically as immoral as thats where innovation comes from and most anyone worth their salt already knows that typically there is nothing like an original especially when compared to a Chinese manufactured item...
It is a lemon, the only part is the foam frame that looks good, they just took without authorization , the remix pods, and frame/ The electronics are garbage. Now good people like ardupilot developers are trying to make a lemon flight, witch I know they will accomplish but is better if they give the frame owner and the pods owners credit and sell those parts, the community know how to make it flight. I will pay 100 dolars with not problem for the frame and pods, and I will take care of the electronics.
I think Jumper did the same with some of their ExpressLRS hardware. They just never communicate with the developers of the open-source projects they rely on.

Could this issue just be a one off? Ive seen many videos of people flying it on reputable channels. Albert Kim showed footage of it in the air. .... I agree that its pretty poor that jumper doesnt have a manual for this product
Jumper rep has just replied on the forum post to say its possibly a faulty servo. hopefully jumper rep and devs can work together to get this as a good entry into VTOL i have one on order so watching all this in great anticipation as a newby to VTOL

The rebooting issue appears to be an issue with stiff servos on that model and others are flying theirs so speaks to poor QA for that one?
