You should use a boroscope to check the cylinders and valves of carbon build up Before & After treatment.

Hey Steven, why is it that seafoam recommend that we spray the can right into the intake before the throttle body (after air box and MAF sensor) but with Amsoil you’re recommending that we spray it into the evap line?

Yes Jeff already did an engine flush on it and it has a hundred and fifty thousand miles
Will this clean clogged catalytic converters? Or does amsoil make something else that does got the catalytic converter belowe effincy code so either cats or o2 sensors
This is not specifically designed to clean the cats however it will clean the entire system from the intake combustion Chambers all the way out the exhaust to what level it will clean it there's no guarantee but I highly recommend doing it you'll see a huge Improvement definitely worth a try before you replace the cats I would also do the pi cleaner the signature series motor oil and the Amsoil engine flush you'll see them all here on my website👍

I know this is an older video but i just stumbled across it. I have a Mazda 3 with 102,000 miles on it. Should I power foam it? Or should i just start with the engine flush, gasoline pi, and upper cylinder lubricant?
I would do them all definitely important to make sure you don't power from a direct injection car.

@Syntheticoilprotection my car has electronic fuel injection so then I would be able to use power foam right?
@sellecksprodigy if you have multi-port fuel injection you're good if you have direct injection you don't want to use it it says it on the can to stay away from direct injection just depends on the type of fuel injection you have💯👍
You can use the pi performance improver and the upper cylinder lubricant and the engine flush in the signature series motor oil in any vehicle and you will see a huge huge Improvement

Great question he said the exact name in the video I would watch it over again just to get your toes wet.

On different Vehicles it can be at a different location so I really am not sure for your specific vehicle it's best to spray it directly into the throttle body area and bypass the sensors

Greetings from Germany ! Would it be possibleto show how to use Power Foam in Fiat 124 spider MULTIAIR II 1,4 engine , same as Spider ABARTH 124 ? There i scomplicated way to go into throttle body as it is covered and deep inside .Maybe power foam can be injected by one ot te subpressure pipe. You know, any FIAT partner will not help...they want money ... I think many 124/ABARTH spiders will appreciate it .. TAHNKS !
Hey thanks for being a part of the channel from across the pond yes that sounds like a great idea I would find a way to inject it in however it's not recommended for vehicles that have direct injection.
I would personally take off the spark plugs and spray it into each cylinder like I do with my Cadillac here.
You want to spray the power foam directly into the cylinder through the spark plug hole.

Would I use the same steps for a GDI engine ?
Most likely you want to just make sure you avoid any sensors so you do not get them wet.
Also another tip and trick you can do is to spray the power foam directly into the cylinder by taking off the spark plugs I've done this on my Cadillac and it made a big improvement.
Another great video and demonstration. I tried purchasing AMSOIL Power Foam however AMSOIL distribution center would not ship it to me due to I live in California. If I purchase from you directly are you able to ship it to me.
I would recommend next time you do a trip to Las Vegas you pick it up at the Distribution Center at the speedway and you can service your car here and that way you won't get in trouble with California LOL
Synthetic Oil Protection in California we can use other products brands for example ( BG products and Seafoam ) that does the same job I’m curious why not Amsoil however I’m run All AMSOIL fluids in both of my vehicles.
That's a great question I would call tech support and talk to them about the chemicals most likely they use proprietary stronger chemicals they clean better.
I really don't know the exact composition of the chemicals a lot of that stuff is kept proprietary by Amsoil.

@@Costarica-mq8el Try ebay for the power foam most sellers will ship anywhere on there. Also CRC sells a product that's very similar to the powerfoam and it works very well to and can get at it at autozone etc.
I used a can of power foam to clean the catalytic converter, but the result is still not satisfactory. Should I use another can or not?
You could I would also do an Amsoil engine flush and I would also do a bottle of Amsoil PI performance improver.
I would also spray the power foam directly into the cylinders and that should help get more build-up and carbon out if you can get to the cylinders I would spray it in take the spark plug out let it sit in a hot motor for 15 minutes and then start it up and drive it

The best preventive measure is doing an Amsoil engine flush and using the pi performance improver fuel system cleaner every 4000 miles and I also recommend using the upper cylinder lubricant every single full tank of gas.
The Amsoil power foam is designed for a neglected engine that has a lot of build-up in it and in that case it'll make a tremendous difference

I have no idea I would find out what the code means.

Once you exhaust the whole can then you stop spraying
So I just power foamed my truck. Now the check engine light was blinking when I shut it off. I haven't done the open it up and fly down the road thing yet. Will it go away? Anybody else have this issue? Thoughts? Fyi the check engine light was not on before treatment
Nevermind it went off. Some smoke. Not sure if it made a difference or not yet.
Yes that can happen make sure you check your wires if you took any wires off also it's good to reset the computer by unplugging the battery
I also recommend the PI performance approver gasoline additive and the upper cylinder lubricant those will make a huge difference on your vehicle

Is this the product to clean the throttle body?
Yes it also cleans the intake and exhaust valves and the exhaust manifolds.
This can get the check engine light to go off on a car that's all clogged up with carbon.

Yes we did do a power foam on a Subaru definitely check out that video you'll see it here in the channel If you have any other questions let me know the most important thing is to make sure you don't get the mass air flow sensor wet.
The only thing you'd have to do if you did get it wet was just clean it off with a mass air flow sensor cleaner which we did on the one Mercedes ML350 video you'll see that on the power foam in the power foam playlist
I think Jeff did not got the instructions right. He ate the oil rings with that continues dose at high revs. Lol
I just read the product user guide and they did it right, because they (Amsoil instructions) dont limit the rpm amount. So, hope we have a follow up on that smoke show.

I don't believe in cleaners plus my car gets redlined everyday so I'm sure I have no carbon it has 200k miles stock motor.
I was just like you before I tried AMS oil I didn't think it did anything.
