We are back with Owen and his 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5 L doing a AMSOIL Power Foam engine cleaning.
Owen Carver is the Coffee guy that makes my Synthetic Oil Protection Coffee here in Las Vegas.
This is a good example of a vehicle that needed a cleaning because of the horizontal flat cylinders are known to have oil burning issues and this is a great way to clean the engine.

It reminds me when I used CRC on my throttle body. A little bit hard to start, then a couple redlines to ensure everything the spray has removed is gone 😂

Excellent job! Also the sensor you spoke about at the top of the throttle body is called the MAP sensor or Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor!
Awesome now I know yeah I know it says right on the can to really avoid all those sensors so I took a look at it and it looked pretty good so I'm like that should be good.

Not a good idea manually operating the throttle body butterfly on a electronically controlled throttle body. Can destroy gears the motor or throw calibration out
Since the car doesn’t have an intercooler that octopuses thing helps cool the air before going into the throttle body

Oh man it's going to really run a lot better I haven't done it but I'm sure it's very easy I would go in the throttle body just try to avoid any sensors.

Have a 2014 outback 3.6 I did spark plugs with coils. Than fuel system cleaner with cnc throttle body cleaner and vavle cleaner. Took it on the hwy on ramp and punched it had a big cloud of black smoke behind me as I hit redline at 80mph

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the Subaru will run if you unplug the MAF connector. When the car doesn't get a signal it runs off memory and not the MAF. Thats why its trying to die when you run the car and disconnect the hose.

Hey great question it will be very similar to the other cars we've done in the channel you'll see the playlists on different fluid changes from motor oil transmission fluid and gear lube and you'll notice the vehicles are all very similar so I recommend watching a few videos of each playlist and you will be ready for your car👍

In all honesty there is no helping this 2.5 perform better. The non turbo 2.5 is a gutless wonder in the bigger forester. I had to drive one from MS to MN. You try to pass someone and the motor literally laughs at you.

Yeah it drove a lot better after we got done with all the fluids and then something happened to his car a few months later and then he got a new car.
@@Syntheticoilprotection Most likely the head gasket or trans. Those gaskets can cause massive oil leakage as well. It's a horribly expensive brand to keep going once it gets old. BOOM!
I am sorry. But, as a car expert, you can’t say “I THINK” this is the mass sensor. I work as a Biomedical Technician, and the doctors does not like to hear “I THINK” especially the machines I am repairing are life saving machines.
I understand.
When I talk on my videos I sometimes get numbers backwards I don't say anything for certain because without having a script in front of me I do not know 100% I don't like to mislead anybody so 90 plus percent of my content is all 100% spot on however occasionally I mismatch things and get numbers backwards and then I see it in the video later.
I always stay honest.
