Your videos are really grounding for me, for some reason. After watching them I just feel like everything is fine, I'm okay, life is good, and things are just gonna work out. It's very comforting. ☺
Well, you always seem to be a good guy with a solid sense of humor and interest in decent video games, but it turns out to have multiple taste and horror movies as well. You’re a real gem.
I’m not a fan of horror movies, but I decided to try a scarier movie around Halloween. I ended up watching Dog Soldiers. It was fantastic! The premise is a military unit conducts training in the Scottish wilderness and they end up encountering werewolves. It’s more of a tense, military-action movie with some good bits of comedy and plenty of gore. I highly recommend, it was a fun movie!
I was too young to see it in the theater, but I did discover it in 1983 as a 6 year old when it made its rounds on Showtime. I flipped out when I saw it! I remember checking the TV guide every week and circling all the airings with a pen so that I wouldn't miss it! Still my favorite movie of all time!
Awesome! I've been subscribed for awhile but never left a comment. When you started listing your favorite horror movies, you had my attention. "mother!" is such an underappreciated gem and by far Aronofsky's crowning achievement! Also, I was astounded to see you mention "The Sadness" - another GREAT film! But... I nearly did a backflip when you listed "The Thing" at #1! It is absolutely perfect and my favorite movie of all time! Awesome taste brother! As far as Uzumaki is concerned, it was translated into an "interesting" movie in 2000 that's now listed as "Spiral" for some reason - I watched it when it was new, and it was called "Uzumaki". I need to look into the few films mentioned that I haven't had a chance to check out. Great to see you back and hope you stick around!!!
It's funny you have both Midsommar and Hereditary on your list. Ari Aster made both movies. He made Hereditary a traditional, dark, bump in the night, horror. Then he made Midsommar to be the polar opposite. If you liked Midsommar you might like The Endless too. Similar vibe that takes a hard turn.
I don't know what the cat food choices are in Australia, but here in the USA I was feeding my cats "lite" food. There was almost no difference in Kcal from regular cat food, but the price was more expensive. My cats actually lost weight when I switched back to regular food. Just my experience.
I saw Mother! twice including on release weekend, and if you added up the number of people in the theater both times including myself you would get to 4 people.
Glad to see you in front of the camera again. I had seen your #10 & #9 horror movies. Will have to check out your other recommendations. I like that checkering pattern TRM Atom. Wouldn't mind having one.
Thanks for the recommendations! The only movies that ever gave me that spine-tingling sensation were the first Insidious and the first Paranormal Activity. If you haven’t seen those, certainly do! But watch them alone. Company really spoils the effect.
I read that book when I was 8 because I didnt know what the hell it was about and thought it had something to do with Naruto... Still freaks me out thinking about it. Definitely wasn't ready.
I dont think im willing to commit to that many horror films even in a lifetime of film watching. I saw Hereditary once and it still terrifies me to think about lol. Midsommar was also very good.
Couple of different horror movies I have enjoyed the past through years: The Substance The Witch Knock Knock (not technically a horror movie, but it was horrific to me)
I do like your top-3 movies, to be a little different I might swap out T2 for Predator. I will check out Where Evil Lurks though as the Spanish can come up with some wild stuff like the original Rec (2007)
I'm glad to see you again! Recently I finally found a TRM Atom in stock and I'm underwhelmed. The blade finish is shit (stonewash with grind marks that can be seen from space) and it's kinda thick behind the edge for such a thin blade. Are they all like that or is mine a dud? It's not a fake.
@@CedricAda I recommended it to my best friend after I watched it and he called back the next day to tell me that his wife begged him to turn it off - too much for her to handle.
Wes , Maryann / TRM need to get more up to date and ADD a Atom on bearings. It would sell thousands. Not sure why they just wanna be OLD SCHOOL. They can do both. Same for CRK. Just wanna be OLD school. Some day all of these customers are gonna be gone.
I've been on the horror train for a while and it looks like our tastes mesh pretty well. Off the top of my head, here's a few more great ones for you to check out: Hagazussa (toughest of the bunch to watch IMO, but excellent), The Witch, Tigers are not Afraid, Talk to Me, Huesara: Bone Woman, and of course the Babadook. I only dabble in flashlights, but the RovyVon Aurora A3 Pro is the best keychain light I've come across and my most used. If you haven't checked out any Architect knives yet, you gotta get on that. I love the 3.5 and think it's the hidden gem in their lineup. I think you'd love it too, in that companion fixed blade role. Super comfy handles and relatively thin and slicey for the category. I also live about 25 minutes away from TRM. Hit me up if I can ever wrangle up anything for the channel.
Hi Back, I'm Dad.
Under appreciated comment. 10/10, would recommend.
hi dad, child support's due
Hi dad, I like ur mom's back

Pete glad to see you enjoying some variety in your life; thanks for sharing!
Babe, wake up, Pete is back!
I really appreciate this style of vid. It kinda feels like I'm just shooting the shit and catching up with a mate. Cheers for the good vides
Good call on “The Thing” . Great movie and follows the original short story faithfully.
Good to see you again and get an update on everything.
Wasn't expecting horror movie recommendations from this channel but I dig it! Always need more horror to watch
Thank f_~< you mentioned the Spyderco Stretch! I was about to end it all…
Frailty was amazing and so underrated.
Well, you always seem to be a good guy with a solid sense of humor and interest in decent video games, but it turns out to have multiple taste and horror movies as well. You’re a real gem.
If you did a whole video reviewing the knives in horror and/or action flicks, I think it could be a wonderful weirdie.

Pete’s in his reformative period, approaching his strongest form: Daddy Pete
The Thing is my EDC horror movie. Saw it in the theater when I was a lad, and I still carry the thumb cutting scene with me every day.😮
one of the all time greatest movie scenes
I was too young to see it in the theater, but I did discover it in 1983 as a 6 year old when it made its rounds on Showtime. I flipped out when I saw it! I remember checking the TV guide every week and circling all the airings with a pen so that I wouldn't miss it! Still my favorite movie of all time!
Love that this EDC update includes top 10 scary movies and games currently playing, great update!

Welcome back sir
yeah hereditary is probably the scariest horror movie I've seen
Long Legs is my new favorite horror/sinister film. Same girl from "It Follows" And Nic Cage. Very well done.
I knew it would be a body horror movie!
Theyre always my favorite. I watched Society as a kid, and it did something to my brain.
Ha! When you started your list, I thought to myself that Carpenter’s The Thing was the greatest horror flick of all times.
Absolutely! Nothing even comes close!!!
Welcome back

I really enjoyed this Thanks!

11:02 Holy Crap "The Substance" is an absoluty crazy movie.
Very Cronenberg-esque... By far the best film in the horror genre that I've seen in awhile...
The Substance is good. Enjoyed that!
Think I have Uzumaki, I'll have to go back and read it.
3:15 😂 Way to go Pete!
Always enjoying your vids.
we miss you bud!
Frailty was a good one. Around the same time as Fallen with Denzel.
Check Infinity Pool or Crimes of the Future!
Hi Pete. From another Pete knifehead. Glad you back man.
Glad to see you in front of the camera again. I had seen your #10 & #9 horror movies. Will have to check out your other recommendations. I like that checkering pattern TRM Atom. Wouldn't mind having one.
today i found out Pete has the same taste in blades AND horror movies as me
Horror not really my jam but my stepdaughter had us all watch A Quiet Place for her 18th b’day. F_~
I’d love to see a cut test on TRM’s magnacut!
Thanks for the recommendations! The only movies that ever gave me that spine-tingling sensation were the first Insidious and the first Paranormal Activity. If you haven’t seen those, certainly do! But watch them alone. Company really spoils the effect.
we watched paranormal activity right as we were dealing with little kids in cribs and baby monitors. Teresa was very bothered by it, great movie
Appreciated, look after yourself & family first.
The videos will come when YOU WANT TO !
My work is doing a fitness challenge. Talk about gamification to motivate you to exercise more!
I read that book when I was 8 because I didnt know what the hell it was about and thought it had something to do with Naruto... Still freaks me out thinking about it. Definitely wasn't ready.
Have you noticed much difference between the K390 and the 10V?
I dont think im willing to commit to that many horror films even in a lifetime of film watching. I saw Hereditary once and it still terrifies me to think about lol. Midsommar was also very good.
I'm tempted to pick up the DQ3 remake. Looks grindy though. Cheers.
it IS very grindy - weird to be back to random battles. am liking it thk
You lost me with a couple of your movie picks but The Thing at number one restored my respect.
Look at them guns🦾🦾
Hello Father
Couple of different horror movies I have enjoyed the past through years:
The Substance
The Witch
Knock Knock (not technically a horror movie, but it was horrific to me)
Well, I guess you saw that one. I made that comment before the end addendum
the witch is great
@@CedricAda One of my favorite movies of the last decade. So intense with the suspense and forboding tension.
Bone Tomahawk
hell yeah, breakin guys in half way before art the clown thought to do it
Que penser vous du magnacut face a la corrosion merci
Yes…I was gonna suggest the THING and return of the living dead. Cheers
What’s your opinion on The Babadook and The Descent? Good to see you back at it Pete!
Pete is trying to tell us that he accidentally bought the least expensive version of the LionSteel Skinny.😅I can see why, those prices are nuts.🤪
Pete, watch The Wailing.
I do like your top-3 movies, to be a little different I might swap out T2 for Predator. I will check out Where Evil Lurks though as the Spanish can come up with some wild stuff like the original Rec (2007)
predator and die hard could probably make it a perfect quintet
Those are all great choices. Check out Oddity when you get a chance. It was excellent.
Chicken Man Mouse Knife Guy
Also, I wonder if you're into the bands Hiatus Kaiyote or Jaala, at all?
10:19 "Aliens" with an "s"?
Have a look at "Terrifier 3"

Just read the exorcist, highly recommend the book. Very scary
I thought The Witch was gonna be on your list for sho
pretty close to being there
Hi Back I'm missed Pete gone. So I guess I didn't make the cut. 🙈
I've been wanting to watch the sadness. I am one that did not understand the horror in hereditary.
yeah theres definitely a crowd which it didnt work for, understandable. the sadness is something else, prepare yourself!

Night of The Living Dead
Horror recommendation: Brightburn
Only film my wife 100% will never ever ever watch again.
Looking swole man. Nice work!
Thanks !
Also Avatar and Avatar 2, perfect film.
No
@@HtownDooDooBrown Yes. 2 Billion+ worldwide! Cope.
Aloha
Someone recommended Lingua Ignota to me & after giving one album a listen, it mostly struck me as a really bad Diamanda Galas impersonation.
Thanks for all the reviews on the Lionsteel, I will never buy it.

The Exorcist…scariest movie of all time!
Walkabout (1971), The Vanishing (1988).These broke my brain. LOLolololol
Scariest film, Wolf Creek.
