2:13 If you hop in and out of a vehicle, then it won't despawn when you get more than 1km away. This is handy when you want to come back for it later. It's an ArmA thing, getting in it activates some code or something

Played last night for the first time, definitely a ton to learn but this game is unlike anything ive played before! Really enjoying the series!
Nice! Yeah there’s a lot to learn, and that’s just the base game. Mods etc will add more on top of it haha.
So much potential for fun and playability though.

Is it playable without an AI squad?
Yeah the campaigns in arma3 are great, You can do Antistasi without AI but I would take a couple with you at least, they are good at spotting enemies which will help. Plus if you get in to contact with the enemy, their whole squad won’t be shooting just at you haha.
Another nice episode! You seem to be steam rolling right over the enemy with no response, which is odd. Maybe it's a Tanoa thing. Normally the enemy would be sending QRF in when you take outposts and resource points.
Here are a couple of mod suggestions if you want to check them out: Better Inventory and Improved Grenades
The other playthrough I’ve had a few get QRF and responses, I tend to get them more when I’m using armoured vehicles/helis etc.
I took an airfield and got counter attacked by 2 separate QRF responses haha.
Have to see how it goes on the next episode when I make more of a dent.
I’m sure you know this, but if you bring a loot box with you from the base you can grab all the loot in a pretty significant radius. Of course the down side is you can’t bring as many men because the box takes up vehicle space. I don’t even know if you can put them in the van you use.
Yeah someone mentioned this a couple of days ago to me, I assumed it was a loot box for the base, like a storage box haha. Didn’t realise it did that haha. I’ll be using one in future. Once I have an airfield I’ll use the heli for it haha
@@theurbanhermit365 yeah you should be able to load it up in a pickup, takes up 2 spots in the back so you could still get 3 soldiers in with you. Saves a ton of looting time lol
nice yeah on another playthrough I've been doing I've got an airfield so just been using the loot heli haha. ill be sure to grab one for next episode though. save some time till i take that first airfield.@@Puckett99

If you use ACE mod you can load the cargo inside the vehicles ACE cargo slots and doesn’t affect the amount of troops you can hold. Works great.
Ah that’s great to know. Maybe the next series I’ll add some other mods before starting.

How do you change your characters voice? And also what settings are your ai aim and dificulty on? I have tried everything but i still go up against an army of vetran snipers with guided bullets lol
I’ve not changed any settings etc so it’s just vanilla as far as I’m aware.
As for the voice in the main menu top right should be profile, I know you can change character etc there but not sure if it translates over to the character in the mod. Give it a go see if it works 🙂
There's a loot crate, when you go to your garage click other, the loot crate loots in a nearby area it's only 100.

I love that you are showcasing this mod, so thanks for that. Could I ask how to respawn units from garrison? Actually i "garrisoned" them near my base flag so I might have not even did it properly, but they were still there, once i came back to base, they were nowhere to be found, neither the map or my squad. Did i did something wrong or is there a solution?

If I’m honest I generally garrison my units at resources etc before I save and log off. This way they will man those areas and I then get new units when I go back on.
Ive not really messed around too much in detail with that side of things so wouldn’t want to give you the wrong info 🙂
When I’ve garrisoned the units at the HQ they tend to be inside buildings when you log back in so check there quick, I’ve got 10-12 people at HQ garrisoned so they protect it in case of attack.
Understood. I usually just get new ones as well whenever I log in, but this time i aquired some loot and equipment for them so that's why i would like to use them again 😅 because everytime i do save and log off, when i come back they are never there, but money HR seem to come back for them. No problem, ill help and advise where i can but I'm still relatively new to the Antistasi side of Arma haha. yeah i noticed this also, i believe if you have units in your squad and log out they will go back to HR points so you dont loose out, but yeah generally i tend to garrison them elsewhere. I think the loot is set to 25 at base so when you get 25 units of 1 weapon they then become unlimited and you can give them to your units that way, you have to go to the command menu and then change unit loadouts.@@ivanjeremic3622
Wow, you are new as well, very nice work then, the way you are playing and handling missions and AI units, i could have sworn you've done this before. Oh that's right, after i gather enough units of weapons and equipment I assume, I could manually change their loadouts. But man the excitement you get from just playing the mod and realizing piece by piece as you play how the game works, is just wonderful. I've put over 400 hours into Arma 2 & 3 so I'm familiar with the base game, the mod itself I'm new to. yeah once you loot the weapons/gear you can put it in your HQ and it'll stack up till it hits 25-26 then changes to unlimited. Re found the love for arma over the past few weeks so I'm just really getting back in to it haha. Always here if you need to ask a question, happy to help as and where i can 🙂@@ivanjeremic3622
So I've never played Arma, I knew a guy that did, and I always understood it as an online game. You can play offline single player?
Yeah you can play a whole campaign in SP, there are loads of DLC’s which add campaigns/scenarios, as well as a tonne of mods like this one 🙂

@balzonyr4head can download mods straight from the steam workshop, I’m hoping the horde system gets polished up with the next patch. I’m still playing Scum but I’m loving Arma atm. I’m loosing so much free time to it 😂

@reinhart1605 haha i do love scum but im trying to branch out a bit so everyone gets some more variety on the channel. Scum will always be the forefront though as it’s what’s built my channel to what it is now. The AI update should be amazing for scum, we may see some issues at first like we always do but hopefully nothing major haha

@@theurbanhermit365 yo thanks man, i really appreciate it, i started playing antistasi ultimate with ACE3 which made things pretty confusing but i will probably stop using just to make the gameplay a bit faster
@dnt_alert5806 yeah adding other mods can add so much extra to the already existing mod it’s crazy haha.
I may add some different ones if I do another series in the future.
