- Today I'm starting a new series for you all. I use to play a lot of Arma 3 and jumping back in recently i found a mod that anyone can try out. Single player or with friends this is an ongoing campaign you can jump in and out of any time you like. Let's check it out together and see what you think.

Nice, i hope you enjoy it, tbh with arma there is so much to do, also a tonne of mods that are very interesting. I picked up the contact dlc the other day as it was the only one i was missing. i may do a playthrough for it as it seems interesting.@@venous-gaming55

If you set your ai to "engage at will" they will actually break formation and hunt down the enemy.
Yeah I’ve been messing around the past week with AI, it’s been a few years since I’ve played Arma 3 so just trying to remember it all again haha 😆
Tanoa's a fun map to do the early game but you run into some challenges pretty quick. There's not a lot of resources and factories so it can be tough to ramp up your economy for money. On the main island, there's an enemy base on the side of the volcano in the jungle that's really hard to get to. It's almost impossible to get your AI up near that base in good shape, so that base is very nasty to take.
I've not been too bad on another save I've got going, once you get a foot hold its not too bad for HR. Not really taken anything in the north yet but looks like a struggle with 3 battles going on.
Dude nice. I play Arma since Arma2 and have all dlc for Arma3. Maybe i should take a look again.
It’s been a few years since I’ve played Arma 3. Re found a love for it haha. The only DLC I don’t have is the Contact dlc

Yeah I have seen this, it’s been so long since I’ve played arma 3. I also wanted to get the newer ww2 creator dlc pack but may wait for a sale first haha
Roadblocks always detect you if you get too close. So it's always a good idea to get rid of them first. Driving by any other enemy should be fine. It's just roadblocks that can always detect you.
I’ve gone past a couple with no issue on another save I have going when I was learning the basic of the game mode, this is why it confused me at first but I try to engage them before or find another route if I can now.

@@theurbanhermit365 Yeah, it also depends on how close you get. Their range is VERY small, but once you're in it they catch you. I've driven around them a few times, but it's tricky going just far enough out of their range, but still staying close enough to the road.

Hi! Do i have to install also the "default" Antistasi Mod from the modders website? Or is ANTISTASI ULTIMATE a standalone? I am confused. Are this 2 different mods? And btw ..; i like the idea of the Background Story (Diary like) of your Video.

I use Antistasi with various mods. Then I saw that some were using Antistasi Ultimate. Now I don't know which is better.
But if you have time, you are welcome to make a video about Antistasi Ultimate with your mods.
I'm always happy to help and engage with an audience. To answer you're question in simple form, I downloaded the mod from the steam workshop, there may be one other mod that is needed with it but it is listed on the ultimate mod itself if needed..@@Flying_Acehole

Ultimate is standalone. You only need it, CBA_A3, and any mods for factions, map, and any QoL mods you want (as long as they don't break things, e.g. ai mods usually break stuff)
Ai not good at follow path. Even set a line formation, it suck. But if you set waypoint or set ai to drive at the specific location. I see no problem. They drive like a normal ai.
Yeah with waypoints only time I have issues with them is if there are civilian vehicles crossing bridges when the AI are. Ai and small spaces don’t go well 😅🤣
Did you start this in MP or SP? I assume MP. I can't save in MP. The "SAVE" function is greyed-out. Petros doesn't give me missions. The Flag gives me no options. The Garage has no cars. Any ideas what I need to do? Do I need "Antistasi - The Mod"? Or, is Ultimate a standalone without that?
you host a server to start a game, this can be done online or on local. I'm currently making a video for this, should be ready in the next couple of days. Search Antistasi ultimate on steam workshop, it'll be the first one you see, it'll need a separate mod for it also but its listed when downloading the ultimate mod 🙂

I can’t tell you why you can’t save, if you’ve done what I’ve done then you shouldn’t be having all these issues, I would say you’re missing something. Verify the files of the game, see if that helps

@@RamblinRick_ dude, I just said I don’t know why it’s not saving.. go to the map and save the game, hence why I gave you some solutions. if it doesn’t work I don’t know, the fact you’re missing things from the mod tells me you’re missing an item from the mod.. so that’s why I said check the files by verifying them. I didn’t design the mod just use it. Also why I said I’m making a video to explain how to install and run the mod as some people are having issues.
Whwt is the mod that made the ai drag you and other ai teammates into a house to revive? Or isit built into the antistasi script?
I’m only using Antistasi and CBA_A3 so I’m assuming it’s built in to one of those 🙂

@YwhMusic must be part of Antistasi then, those are the only two mods I’m running is must be in one of them haha
@@theurbanhermit365 Would be fantastic if someone made a separate mod just for that.. so we'd have longer better Ai vs Ai Engagements and actually a use for AI medics..
Yeah why I like Antistasi, sometimes I look over my shoulder and see the medic dragging another AI member for aid. Makes it a bit more immersive haha

How to configure the server to enable third-person view?
Should be in the in game settings for the server. Off the top of my head I’m not 100% sure what section it’s under.

How did you get a PDW2000 from the start?

I’m on the tanoa map.
I did notice on a different map I started with shotguns and a bolt action. So maybe different maps/factions will start with different weapons ? Not 100% sure but that’s my best guess haha

There are plenty of milsim groups that still play Arma 3 I’m sure there are some that are dedicated to certain mods, maybe even this one. It’s not something I’ve looked in to but there’s plenty of people that play Arma3 still 🙂

Only mod I’m currently using is Antistasi ultimate.
The AI can mess around a bit, put them in combat mode - select all units, then number 7 and then 2 if I’m remembering correctly. They’ll react a lot better then 🙂

The AI can be a bit janky still. The main bridge over to the island I'm currently taking over can have crap pathing sometimes, sometimes it takes a while for the AI to pick you up but no more than 3-4 minutes I've waited before, other than that they seem to fight well. Would highly recommend jumping back in if its been a while to check it out again.@@dmknght8946
@@theurbanhermit365 oh i play Altis map mainly and AI always has problem on small brides. Btw do u use ace combat medic mod? It could be the reason that i (ussed it) was rescused by AI
@dmknght8946 I use the base ultimate mod and it requires CBA_A3 to use. Other than that I’m not running any other mods 🙂

Only mod I run is the Antistasi ultimate 🙂
It's integrated custom ai inside antistasi, however it only works with vanilla medical. Many people choose to use ACE which overrides it, AI cannot help you when using ACE
Playing this, but using the cheat menu until I get a handle on how to play.

It’s easy enough when you’ve played arma before, I dropped Arma 3 for a while but found this mod and fell in love with the game all over again 🙂
@theurbanhermit365 it's a mod, I'm using for single player Lan mode to play casual and to learn the ins and outs.
