We should not increase Fat content upto 80%,We should increase protein content in our Diet..Coz our Body will then break fats in our body and convert that fats into Carbs and then our weight will reduce fastly and secondly proteins will help us build our muscles at the same time,,we dont have to loss muscles,we only have to loss fats in our body..So proteins should be increased upto 50 to 55%,rest 10 to 15% can be of carbs,, and remaining fats..And then after 2 to 3 weeks,we have to increase proteins litt more and decrease carbs at same time..

Good effort to provide overview of this amazing diet, but there are few things which I don't agree with.
=> First 5kg lost are water weight.
No, 5kg is not fixed for everyone, it varies 2-10 pounds for individuals.
Side effects of keto, hair, nails & skin.
Really? This is totally incorrect.
When you follow keto with intermittent fasting, you can fix insulin resistance and avoid excessive amount of insulin in body. High amount of insulin triggers making high amount of androgens, which causes acne. Also, intermittent fasting improves absorbing vitamin A from foods, which is key vitamin for nice skin.
For losing hair, even people not on keto has this issue. So, it’s not due to keto, but more due to not taking enough diet to meet nutritional needs. On keto, hunger and cravings just go away, so people don’t bother to eat more than one meal per day. So It is always recommended to take nutritional dense foods having sufficient amount of high quality protein, B vitamins & trace minerals. Just make sure your digestive system is good, specially stomach acid, so that maximum protein can be absorbed from foods. If having stomach acid issue, recommended to take organic Apple cider vinegar and betaine HCL supplement.
=> We cannot remove carbs completely from diet in Pakistan
Yes, agreed partially. It’s not only in Pakistan but in most of countries. We may not remove carbs from diet for whole life, and it is actually not needed as well. We can follow keto diet while losing weight, then afterwards we can switch back to normal healthy diet with carbs, without any issue. Being on keto gives quick result which gives a person motivation to stick to it for longer.
Also, for any wedding or other event, this is not an issue. Just enjoy it fully, and you will be out of ketosis temporarily, and then in a day or two you can get back to ketosis.
Going slow & steady is even more difficult and very few people can stick to it. In fact, it’s better to switch between keto & non keto diet as per needed.

I am following keto diet with IF for last 3 years, I do it for approx. 4 weeks and then for next 6-8 months I don’t need to be on diet. This is best and easiest way for someone who wants to maintain his weight and physique.
