Thank you for putting Ceramic Speed Wax to the test, great to see CSW topping your charts in durability! Hanging with some even stout "coatings". We'll be getting you out Resist soon, which should far surpass this in durability as well. For those having application issues, When applying, be sure to lightly mist the product onto your paint and immediately follow with our Plus 470 towels to achieve a smooth, uniform finish. Remember, a little goes a long way-using less product ensures easy buffing and a streak-free, glossy result every time. We appreciate your support and look forward to helping keep your ride looking its best!
Thanks for the great details for those that have had issues. I’ll also double check i haven’t already received a new resist bottle in case my memory is failing me.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems Ethos is the most durable spray sealant you tested so far with your elcometer, even beating Phoenix EOD Immortal (a solvent based product), and tying Adam's Advanced Graphene (a stand-alone ceramic coating).
@@DmitrysGarage I'm hoping you can test Clean by Pan's Ceramic Spray. Still undecided what to apply this spring. Currently I've got Collinite Beadcoat on one vehicle, and Apex BC9 Revamp on the other.
I would like to see your run their "Resist" back through with the new testing. I love that stuff and if this will beat it I would gladly switch LOL. Would also love to see you do the new Clean by Pan sealant and Detail Co's Infinity
I think Tim was going to send me another Resist to retest. Ill give him a ping. Clean by Pan is heavily requested, im sure i will get to it sooner than later.
I’ve applied it on my truck in June. It has some filling capabilities. Been through hurricane and water repellency is still there. Doesn’t had slickness nor was it an easy application. It gives just enough gloss not too over powering. For my purposes I wanted durability, filling in imperfections and a low gloss not to overpower the gunmetal metallic paint.
Thanks for the field report, what was hard about the application for you? My lab/garage isnt always the real world so it helps to learn what people experience.
@@DmitrysGarage super super grabby on the buff off. Went through a lot of towels as they were gunked up same with applicators. Definitely don’t put it on glass otherwise you’ll need to polish it off. I also did full mechanical decon before. I do wash my truck weekly. I may reapply in January as it’ll be 6 months. I would suggest doing a comparison of Lithium car care Mudslide vs Adam’s Graphene Speay coating. I have Mudslide on my wheels and headlights. If your going to test another glass coating try RainDance by Black Rhino
@ thats too bad, did you spray directly on? When i played around with it (outside the video) i didnt have any issues, but i was spraying into my towel. Wonder if there was a temp/humidity difference maybe.
I've tested the resist in the past, I may have or maybe was going to get a new bottle of it (need to check) so it may go through another test in the new system. I'll look into the ceramic refresh as well.
FIRST!!! ✌🏽🐿️💨 i love waxes, i just recently got mckee’s krystal si02 paste wax, but a spray wax like this would be good for maintenance type applications
@ nice!!! i’m going to use mine as a sacrificial layer on top of a ceramic coating. 5 months of driving on the highway in my commuter has taken a toll on the hydrophobicity. and i just miss the acting of using a paste wax
Oh man I hated using this ceramic speed wax its horrible for me. Streaky, way too much work to wipe off. Certain paints were worse, only a few cars i used it on were ok...im still trying to work thru it. Im a mobile detailer and had high hopes. No offense to ethos but in my experience with this and their hybrid rinseless is this is a hyped brand thanks to some influencers. No hate, just my experience. No scientific experiments just my real world outdoor clients cars practical use
That's too bad, wonder why some people have had issues. You're I think the second person to make that comment here. I didn't have any issues in my testing, and I play with these products off camera too, but I'm also working in a pretty controlled environment. So far in my tests Ethos has done well in general, but I haven't tested everything in their lineup.
@@kirkwilson5900 Could be different environments maybe. Or some batch inconsistency, which one would hope isn't the case. Reviews in general seem pretty good on independent sites. It does look like they may have changed formulas at one point as well. Was this a while ago that you tested?
Hey @kirkwilson5900, thanks for sharing your experience. Don't forget, we've been in the market since 2018 well before most detail influencers and to this day have never once spent a cent on paid reviews. For Speed Wax, To get the best results, we recommend using only a light mist per panel and following up with our Plus 470 microfiber towels for a smooth, streak-free finish. These premium towels help ensure the product spreads evenly and buffs off with minimal effort. A “less is more” approach really makes a difference, especially when working outdoors. All of our products are very concentrated so some tweaks in application will usually remedy any issues you maybe having. If you have any other questions, we’re here to help!

i would love to see something like nasiol zr53 and nxtzen 365 get tested and also great channel
Thanks! The nasiol is definitely on the list already, but ill make sure the nxtzen is too.
Really interested in nxtzen 365
Love your indepth testing. Very consistent ❤
Thank you!

Woah really wtf
Correct, the durability is quite impressive for something so simple.
@@DmitrysGarage do you have a ranking chart available?

Can you test this against ethos resist? And or ethos ceramic refresh?

Something to watch before bed. Not sure if i missed it bjt what does the product smell like? Still trying to find a topper for Fusso coat.
I cant recall the smell unfortunately, but i dont think the scent was too notable. I think this could work well as a top coat too.
It smells like coconut
