Interesting one for you, would you swap, Audi a7 61 reg, gearbox pressure sensor code coming up but I believe it just needs the oil changing, and Mercedes a180 63 reg, nothing wrong with it just high mileage 👀
I've got a 2016 model and you could do with checking the hpfp cam follower, pcv valve and the turbo diverter valve not expensive or difficult but well worth doing.
Warm the oil up mate that looks cold and back the filter off whilst the sump plugs out and oil that held under vacuum will then flow out. That didn’t seem much oil that come out..

Its also strange that the previous mot had a major for the exhaust leak and now its only a minor. Also, no advisory for the rear subframe corrosion as on previous mot also.
@@DarrenJackson-id5yz Some discs you only feel at higher speeds and not on a brake tester. My work van also has warped brakes but you only feel them if the discs have some heat in it
@@JesseCollinghamit should have failed on a few things and had advisories too. Expect a pull from VOSA to have the car retested as I’m reporting the MOT station. Your videos are great evidence for them to pull that stations MOT testing status. It’s just not on.

The rear discs look like they need replacing as well, you can see a rust ring around the edge where the pad isn't contacting the disc, it will reduce braking performance.

All the parts and service items over the different cars admittedly won’t be anything like the value of the car the end, but it would be interesting to see your overall spend, to go from £150 Astra (plus £xxxx parts and servicing - this is the bit I mean!) to get a let’s say £40k super car?
When i got my focus st, it past mot then found it hard warp discs, i dont know how they pass it with knackered brakes, i was same, wautinv to get new brakes so i could rag it 😅
I had the same shape VW Scirocco GT 2.0 TSI and DSG you dont have to take the bumper off for replacing fog lights remove the trim 2 bolts job is done its missing the engine cover and battery shield
I had a 2014 gtd and had the same issue with the cornering light changed the bulb and after a few weeks it blew same thing over and over again turned out it was a wiring issue I just got it mapped out after about 6 bulbs
Rather 1 quality video a week than 2 rushed videos mate parts take time to order and things easily get delayed when it comes to cars even once a week can sometimes be a struggle

The condensation on those headlights is horrendous
Hair dryer on the lights to get the damp out of them, then also a quick polish to get that sandblast effect off them 👌

When u were making the first vids with wheel off I said to my son look at the state of them discs surprised he's not changing them
Surface rust.look at them when he took the wheel off after not they looked perfectly normal.

Full set of bulbs from Asda for 7 quid Jesse boy. Get indictators headlights the lot.
The oil filters are known for seizing on, sometimes to the point they brake. ECS do a metal replacement.
I just love this series. I think you should head for a f40. Keeps us entertained for years to come..🙃

If it's been sat might want to check the cam follower the known to go bad on the tfsi engines and may save you or the next owner a good bit of money

Nice car loving the video but is service every 4500 miles a bit much? Only a 2ltr 10k or 12 months should be ok for this?
Definitely give the lights a polish pal, definitely looks way too low and may put some people off but I guess that's not such a big deal

If it’s been sat for 4 months outside I’d definitely change the tyres, that might be why it doesn’t handle well too?
