You are great!! Thank you,, I have meniscus tear since 2016 ,, no health insurance ,but now old & have Medicare,, it's hell I can't walk some days & this at least gives me hope to have my doctor informed.its just so good to see there's proof of such an injury..I can't bend down on my knee either,,like to change the litter box of my cat ,,I have to sit on my butt. When bending the knee I can feel a tight strecth that's really scary.. so my movements are limited.. The iceing on the cake too is last August I fell because of my right knee & broke my arm the humaus bone in tow places.. So again it's a life style change because there's really no doctor that will do Medicare... Thank you for listening & all your video's God Bless ,, I'm so happy to find these..it just will let my doctor know the pain is not just in my head. Also had MRI done in 2016 & just had MRI done September 1 2021

MRI on knee shows meniscus tear with now spurs.. can't walk too good.. thinking about getting a light weight wheel chair.. this conversation has happened long ago.. anyway I'm grateful I'm not in a flooded place, I count my blessings.. I regret I didn't know better to do something about my injury because it was on the Job injury.. 🤕 🙏 be kind to others because this world is falling apart.🇳🇮💙⛈️🌪️ 😇
My doctor says its osteoarthritis. I can't bend the knee when walking. It wants to collapse. I can't do normal daily functions. I am in so much pain. Physical Therapy did not help a bit. Back to the doctor next week. Thanks for helping us out. I test positive for meniscus tear.
Just stopped by to thank my favorite TH-cam channel's couple for their relentless work and efforts in keeping us fit and healthy. Even though life pushes us out and I can't always keep up with the videos as I used or would like to, I want you both to know that I always always always remember you when I am doing my daily exercises, specially the ones meant to heal DR. So, thanks Camille and Jared for being such fantastic human lights! All the best for the bests!! Watched, like, and commented. Checked! :))
I really like you vids Jared! TY! tell your wife she's pretty and glad she assists you for our benefit, you also make a cute couple! anyway, thanks for what your doing!
I hurt my knees after walking on sand on the beach, it's been 10 months already, but I am getting healthier now slowly. Probably, I had some knees issues that were asymptomatic and the sand and bad flip flops started the flare ups, my pain started suddenly, it felt like a dull ache sometimes with clicking and stiffness. Thank God I am healing, it's been a long process.
All exercises causes a little pain one more than the other. I found out I have a medial meniscus . I got this for 4 weeks now. I ordered a knee brace and wear it during the day. It helps a lot because it's supporting my knee. I have the brace with the double aluminium alloy hinged system. It works great for me and my knee is feeling better . I had difficulties walking but after wearing this brace for 1 week it feels significantly better! When I start walking , standing up or going up and down the stairs I feel a little pain but after moving around for a bit I can feel the pain fading away. This tells me it's healing. I thought I just leave a message in the hope that it's useful for someone out there. Thnx for this very informative video!

@@darrenmetal3338 thanks for reply. Doc gave me very lg hinged brace-robot style-wore in one day and I believe too heavy to drag around for my size because knee and back hurt worse next day. The metal supports on both sides of knee really painful. Take care
thank you for the video!! didn't really experience any knee pain until i did the standing up rotations with the deeper squat. if anything it brought me peace of mind!! i've been driving myself insane. about a month ago, i went on a long run in the mountains (i was on vacation and thought might as well run to sightsee) - steep terrain is not usual for me, the most i do at home is climb 1 floor up the stairs so i'm not surprised that i got injured, and since then the pain has kind of eased up but still feels tender and sharp when i put weight on it or try to do anything more than walk for 10 minutes (and sometimes even less...), feels like my tendons are snapping into place to support any of the movement in my right leg... for now, my bet is on bursitis and jumper's knee 🤷♀️ luckily i'm getting a scan soon but at least it brings me peace of mind knowing i *probably* don't have a meniscus tear, or at the very least not a big one and will be back moving soon.
Excellent information. Simple (relatively) tests that we can do at home to try and determine the nature and extent of our problem. I like your no-nonsense style of presenting the information. Time has value.
Very helpful and informative. I like to know what to ask my doctors to look for when I visit. I think my left knee has been a problem for a while but now is getting worse. I’ll be scheduling an appointment to get it checked out. At 71, I can’t afford to be falling. ✌️👍
I think it’s safe to say, I have finally found what’s wrong with my lateral side of my knee. Usually my leg would feel stuck @ a 90°. If I don’t snap it in place quick it’s terrible. Thank you.
So informative Doc.. you explain so clearly that we gain a lot of knowledge, we definitely benefit a lot from each of your videos.. keep at it.. God bless
Not sure if this will get answered but figured I’d try. On Sunday (8 days ago) I bent down to be by my daughter doing an activity at a table. When I went to get up from the squatted position I couldn’t. I gathered myself and focused and was able to get up. Didn’t hear any popping or feel anything. And when I got up I was fine. No pain or discomfort. Following morning (Monday) I had some discomfort in my left knee. I have experienced this in past every so often where it’s uncomfortable and very slightly painful, and causes me to walk with a limp for a few days as it hurts to walk normally when knee bends behind. Usually clears up in a few days. Never prohibited me from putting on pangs or socks or shoes etc. This time, Tuesday I woke up(2) days after the only thing I can think of that would’ve caused this (squatting by daughter) and the pain was considerably worse. I couldn’t pick my leg up to get out of bed. I couldn’t bend it more than 5 degrees. Needed assistance with socks/shoes etc bc I could bend leg to get them on. Walked way more gingerly and with a limp. And had to figure how to get in car bc I couldn’t get leg bent to get in. I saw a doctor who did an X-ray and said it was osteoarthritis. However, it made no improvement and got worse in certain situations so I went to see an orthopedic doctor. This was height of my pain and even getting on exam table was painful. Then couldn’t even sit straight up bc when I did pain shot down my leg. Same when I was driving, it was super uncomfortable and painful. He said it seems like meniscus bc the physical exams I wasn’t able to do due to resistance from pain. I used heat on it Tuesday and Wednesday and didn’t seem to do anything big make it feel more stiff. Switched to ice Thursday and it seemed to help. Since Thursday I have seen improvements in my knee. Less pain when trying to bend it and regaining some mobility. Can’t bend it all the way without some sort of pain or resistance with very minimal pain. At the worse I’ve been able to hold my weight on the leg. Rotate while standing on injured leg. Only issue has been bending it. My question is, would a meniscus or even acl injury, improve within a week like mine has? Or could it truly be the initial diagnosis of osteoarthritis? Im 42 bug doc who saw arthritis in X-ray said it’s more than she was expecting for someone my age. I have MRI scheduled but would like to better prepare myself for what it’ll find. I’m just confused bc I definitely thought meniscus bc of the lack of improvement for few days. But then the improvements I’ve seen have been drastic. Went from not being able to get in car without crying or laying in passenger seat to allow clearance for leg, to being able to bend it more (not fully yet) and not needing my wife to tie shoes or put brace on or socks etc. I thought if it was something like a meniscus or acl that it wouldn’t improve like it has the last 3 days. And maybe it is just the arthritis. any advice and information would be great appreciated. Oh and also, I’ve had no issue with straightening leg. I can straighten with no problem. Actually provides some Relief at times
do you know why knee pain happens after hyper extending the knee and you have pain? my wife said her knee hurt when she straightened it, and she said this was after riding a cycling bike for 20 minutes but happened a few hours after her bike ride. Great video..
Thank you very much for the wonderful tips for diagnosis. I had a knee injury, almost 3 years back while playing volleyball. I was informed by the doctor that it's a ligament related problem, which healed to great extend after one-month physiotherapy. I tried to play cricket but it hurt my knee sometimes (running) so I stopped playing. Do you have any suggestion for exercise or treatment? Thanks a lot.
Go get it seriously checked out. My wife just tore her meniscus and had to have surgery. It was torn at the root. That pain you feeling could be bone rubbing on bone because of not having much meniscus left to absorb shock to your knees while running etc… Go to the best Orthopedic Surgeon you can find. Good luck! He or she will get you to take a MRI of your knee in question.
Yooo I just hurt my knee from volleyball to! I play for team Ontario and I just had a game in my provincials and I landed on my right leg after hitting a spike and ended up injuring it.
I had an injury in school in 8th grade where my knee cap dislocated in a twist with full weight on the leg. My leg then hit the wall, knocking the knee cap back into place. After a month of swelling and crutches they did an MRI and said the bone on the outer side of the knee looked to be hairline fracture. They recommended physical therapy or stretches. My mom could pay for physical therapy and wait to get reimbursed. I was left to do stretches but they never fixed the problem. I often had my quads tighten and pull up my knee cap and something pinch bellow my knee cap causing severe pain. I often lost stability with weather changes. A couple years ago I asked my doctor to check my knee as I had started working out and running and it caused problems in my knee and low back. He did an X-ray (I was 32 years old then). In the X-ray he could see inflammation and that my knee cap was in an abnormal tilt. He recommended 800 mg of ibuprofen daily. (Which I knew was unsafe so I did not follow) I worked out my inner and outer leg muscles and that has helped some but it is not fixed it. Thanks to this video I know for sure my Meniscus was torn and I am upset that I spent so many years in pain and unable to exercise as I like. I also cannot afford health insurance so I am unable to even fix the issue. 😢 Now I am left wondering why they did not think it was a tear and what other damage this has caused to other compensating parts of my body. In my experience recently with other joint issues, specialist doctors will not take me as a patient without insurance. 😂 ugh.
Excellent presentation! Clear, concise, and uplifting. So, I guess I don't have a meniscus tear! I do have a pain in the back of my knee. There is no swelling, discoloration, and is not painful to the touch (or poke). But it does hurt when I stand on it and walk. Ideas?
Good content! I have a complex tear of medial meniscus diagnosed by PT and verified by MRI. (From a rotational injury). I feel like I could pass most these tests, but have loaded pain at 90 degrees, and can feel the medial meniscus pushing out at midline.
I injured my knee while running last month. The pain has improved and there’s almost no pain at all. However, my knee still doesn’t flatten or close all the way and that still causes me to limp, even though I’m in NO PAIN at all. I do still run, but my pace has slowed down and I have to wear a knee sleeve. My knee isn’t as strong as it was before I got injured because it doesn’t close, which is frustrating because I rarely have any pain, and when I do, it only lasts for a minute at most. I’ve been doing core excercising and stretching everyday, and my knee still doesn’t close or straighten out when I stand still. I went to a doctor a few days after injuring my knee and the doctor said I had Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, but now I don’t have anymore pain. It’s just that, my knee hasn’t regained the same functionality as it did before I injured it. I researched that it could be a torn meniscus.
You help me so much, thanks. I think my meniscus on my right leg is injured even though I didn't do anything, but I am 77 years old. I didn't need this because I fell on Feb 11 and broke my collarbone and I am still trying to recover from that :(
I went to a doctor, who did some manual testing and didn’t find anything. She said I should go to physiotherapy and we go from there. I went once to the physiotherapist and was not convicted of her. My pain is somehow behind the knee. I feel a strong pain if I bend my knee, hold the tibia and try to stretch the knee against the resistance. Without resistance I can stretch the knee without problem. Concerned Becker Cyst: i don’t see a clear swelling behind the knee, but my wife says there is something. What do you think is my problem? I will go again to the doctor and tell her I need an MRI. Do you agree with my plan? Thanks a lot for the video! I am subscribed, of course 😊
Nicely demonstrated video The lateral and medial meniscii are marked wrongly. The smaller C-shaped meniscus is on the lateral side ( same side as the head of the fibula) check the picture
My right knee is hurting when I stand up from the bed , chair I am a track and field athelete and when I tight my muscles surrounding the knee that also hurt popping and cracking sounds are also there everytime but my right knee is still hurting please answer me what should I do and ya during exercise pain is not 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
For now rest the knee. Afterwards, do hip and knee strengthening exercises. Lastly and most importantly if you have insurance go see a chiropractor and then see an orthopedic doctor.

im hoping to get my knee checked soon, my knee has been injured for over a couple years now and i hurt it again recently. every now and then too i accidently dislocate it again. im more worried now since it still hurts, it's still unstable, and it looks wonky compared to my other knee. i have to be careful not to twist in a certain way, to not jump on it too hard, etc.
It started with a knee injury while I was pushing a heavy box with my knee, sometime in the beginning of August.. had swelling by night.. the swelling almost disappeared in one month, and I didn't bother about it too much and started working out.. within one more month, I had the aforesaid issues. Now the popping, along with occasional pain is there
I have no pain, but my right knee is swolen and can't band or stretch. It is month now. But I can walk and ride a bike no problem. Wearing knee sleeve just when doing those activities. What it can be. Male 55, with normal weight and active.
Excellent demo! One question: can doing these tests make a mild tear into a worse tear? I'm especially concerned about the disco test (full weight bearing when twisting). Thanks in advance!
All these exercises will help but what will help even more is dont ever use a brace and try to start running since its a mild tear it impossible to make it worse so the more you do the better
Thank you. Any feedback on my situation would be appreciated... t was unfortunate my knee doc didn't do these, and its been 4 years (or don't remember it) and now after my injury went slightly bone on bone on my medial side with last xray.. I strongly suspect I tore my menicus slowly going down stairs. I felt a weird feeling 10 minutes later on my walk,.. 4 years laterm He now wants to replace my knee (I won't do it)... It is so depressing limping/pain slightly for 4 years. In the meantime, 2 sets of xrays. cortisone injection, syn visc injections. My knee won't straighten on table ... after PT its about 9 degrees bent. We are working on my walking, strenthening, and straightening my knee which may be as good as it will get at this point. It is tender with that test you demonstrated and always has been.... I did the disco test, and I was fine with that one !!..... ? .... I feel I have a bakers cyst thing too.... I want so much an MRI but they will not give me one,... No pain when sitting or sleeping. Getting off a deep chair is hard. and walking is "uncomfortable on medial side, I am a 70 year old woman and not athletic. I just like to walk.... Thanks. I would really appreciate any insight from you.
I think I might have torn my meniscus recently, I have pain doing all of these things and bending at all makes it pop or crack and I injured it in July but they told me it was fine but now I can barley walk any help?
I don’t lunge with any dumbells anymore because every single time I do I injure this area. I then have to “nurse it for days” until it gets better. I used to call it ‘twisting’ my knee(kind of like you would twist an ankle). I modify and just lunge with only body weight now. Not worth getting injured over.
Sounds like you're doing it right, Blue September! Lunges put a lot of stress on the knee and the menisci. Have you tried a "reverse" or "step back" lunge? Those are typically better tolerated with knee pain. Good luck and thanks for commenting!
Hi! I’m about to do these exercises to know if my meniscus are f**** up; I do jiu jitsu and got hurt when an idi*t made me a knee bar (even if it’s illegal in my school); what worries me the most is that I can’t do any strength with that leg, I can walk and all that but if try to lift anything was light as 8-10 pounds it hurts a lot and me knee feels funny all the time; is that another indication of a meniscus injury? Also; should I stop training entirely until I get it fixed? Hope you can help me.
@@precisionprotectionv.i.5308 hate to hear it happened to you too! 2 months later my knee still feels weak, I’ve been light rolling and I can’t really use it as I used to before what happened; I can’t really keep my guard close or try to butterfly sweep my partners because I feel at any point it will give up. I had a funny situation. This happened while I was asleep on my left side with my right leg on left one. When I started to turn straight, my left leg below the knee kind off stayed still while my hip and thigh moved. I've been having funny pain in or behind my knee at times. Plus there is clicking at outer side of my left knee.
Same here. Literally thought I was going to have to be taken to ER last night because I couldn't straighten out my leg & was like there was a catch or something & it needed to be popped back in place. It hurt worse to try to turn my foot or ankle until whatever it was popped back in place. I'm so nervous now to hardly even twist my leg now cause I'm afyits going to pop out place again.
Christian Robles hey what’s up, btw I answer fast lol, but yeah I went with a friend , he toke me to a messager at a garage, he popped it back in , I can bend it now and I can walk straight and also can run, my coach told me I have to go to the hospital but didn’t go and quit the soccer team, I do get sawdy here and there wishing I can be there again but hey fuck it, as long that I can walk with no pain I’m good
I have meniscus tear, I can’t straighten my leg, it has to be bended slightly so I can walk. I’m 15 and I was about to take football or soccer to the next level. It’s not a bad meniscus tear but hopefully it’ll heal quicker and maybe I can get back. But I dont want to quit football I’m so worried
Running around backyard playing with my dog. I twisted my knee and felt a large pop and I fell on my back, hitting my head and screaming, screaming. Xray nothing broken but swollen and very painful. Can hardly walk with brace and cane. I'm not able to try these exercises. I hope to see PA on Thursday. Thanks for the video though.
Only like 5 months ago I had surgery on my knee for this type of tear along with a complete acl and mcl tear. I was 13 when I had the surgery and I’m barely 14 now and I’m getting ready to be back to sports in about a month from now
My knees have been cracking since I was 10. I am now 21. At first it was one knee but now it’s both. Every time I go up or down the stairs my knees makes a cracking noise which is embarrassing because it is loud. Whenever I sit down too long they hurt when I go to stretch them out which is why I try to avoid having my knees bent for very long.
Do you have flat feet and/or pronates ankles or anything like that? Do you have duck feet that point out sidewards? I have these and my knees click when going up and down stairs, my right leg clicks if I extend my leg fully and again when I move my leg back. There’s also tonnes of exercises NOT really involving the knee that I don’t feel good about doing as it makes an almighty pop in the outside of my right knee, such exercises include single leg deadlifts, no clue why that produces such a sensation and sound but squatting which actually bends the knee, doesn’t. Mid 20’s, male, has this for a few years. I think my flat feet caused it, and squatting made it accelerate. I haven’t done anything with it except some gentle flexibility stuff for like 2 years, and it never went away. No pain during clicking, but if I do anything (by accident) that does need the knee to work, the following day my knee hurts.
Bro me too I’m tryna see what it is I’m not tryna go to the hospital but it’s been hurting for awhile I’m not able to do basketball cause if it twist I feel the pain all over again
Same here been almost a year and still no sign of healing. I want to avoid surgery at all costs (I hate surgery). Maybe stem cell therapy if it won't heal on its own.
Yeah I used to have a torn meniscus that was a major cause of aggravation as well as lots of low grade pain, And after dealing with it for several years, I went in and had surgery to correct the tear , A part of my meniscus was rubbing up against my knee joint which was causing my problem, The surgeon went in with a scope and trimmed off the little piece that was rubbing up against my knee joint and that removed the irritation from within my knee joint, It was summertime when I had that surgery, When I awoke from the surgery my doctor said that I could use my legs as normal, Just don’t overdo it until my knee heals, So four days after my knee surgery I went out and mowed my yard in the hot summer sun while wearing the hospital bandage wrapped around my knee, My knee didn’t hurt from the surgery, It did feel weird because they dislocated my knee joint for the surgery in order to insert the scopes, Other than feeling weird in my knee, The Areas around the holes were numb, But my doctor said that was normal until the nerves grew back and that it was just going to take some time for the regrowth ; Eventually the sensation returned to those areas , The numbness was unusual, I only noticed the lack of sensation in those areas when I would press or touch the surgical site , Just weird; It took a whole year before my knee returned to normal and I could run and jump around on it just the same way as my unaffected knee ; I never missed any work after my surgery, Now everything is perfectly normal and fine , Not to mention that I’m pain free 👍 I had only wish that I had done this surgery several years before; Peace out everyone and stay healthy 👍

Just watching this I think my Medial Meniscus in my left knee is the problem. Everything lines up perfect to this video. To me It feels like a moderate level 2 sprain near the surface of the inside of the knee that radiates about 4 inches up and down from that spot in the knee. If I sit it gets real painful and tight. If I keep on my feet and loosen it up then the entire area throbs in pain and I regret it.

Have had the same knee injury for about 6 months swollen, bruised, and pain. Been to the doctors multiple times ran x-rays and MRI and found nothing. Physical therapist even thought it was meniscus but sounded like he couldn't say it was. They say its possible an imbalance of the muscles. I been doing the exercises for awhile at one point it locked up like it was doing and had one big pop and was fine for a week or two then back to the same pain. I don't know what to do at this point
Sometimes it is too much excercises and not enough stretching that create tightness. Plus. Your shoes can be a culprit. Right well balanced diet also helps. If you eat on regular bases any sweets, cheaps from supermarket, the food robs you from nutrients. I hope I helped a bit.
I was sitting down and tried to stretch my right knee and it locked up, At first it didn’t hurt and I tried to stretch my leg and all of a sudden I was in pain. I think I have this in both knees. Happened 2 days apart and I’m thinking it’s due to me walking barefoot on hard stone floors and wearing shoes with no support (flip flops/comverse) I’m a nanny of 14 years and that’s why I’m always barefooted but I think this is why I have this pain now! I can’t even bend down to sit and need help getting up! I also feel like both knees will pop when I bend them when I try to bend down. So I have to get creative so I don’t hurt myself. Hi, I appreciate the time that you and your beautiful wife have taken here to help one understand the issues that I , and others may be experiencing with our knees , However, am having some knee problems for the longest while , I just can't bend my knees, if I have to stoop down to get something, I will have to go straight down, like bend down first and sit down, sometimes according to a sudden turn I actually feel my knee cap move , which causes a lot of pain... In that case what do I do ? Should I visit a doctor , or is there anything I can do at home to help that problem?
You are great!! Thank you,, I have meniscus tear since 2016 ,, no health insurance ,but now old & have Medicare,, it's hell I can't walk some days & this at least gives me hope to have my doctor informed.its just so good to see there's proof of such an injury..I can't bend down on my knee either,,like to change the litter box of my cat ,,I have to sit on my butt. When bending the knee I can feel a tight strecth that's really scary.. so my movements are limited.. Probably, I had some knees issues that were asymptomatic and the sand and bad flip flops started the flare ups, my pain started suddenly, it felt like a dull ache sometimes with clicking and stiffness. Thank God I am healing, it's been a long process.

How do determine the severity of an injury? Strain vs tear etc?
Thnx for this very informative video!

about a month ago, i went on a long run in the mountains (i was on vacation and thought might as well run to sightsee) - steep terrain is not usual for me, the most i do at home is climb 1 floor up the stairs so i'm not surprised that i got injured, and since then the pain has kind of eased up but still feels tender and sharp when i put weight on it or try to do anything more than walk for 10 minutes (and sometimes even less...), feels like my tendons are snapping into place to support any of the movement in my right leg... for now, my bet is on bursitis and jumper's knee 🤷♀️ luckily i'm getting a scan soon but at least it brings me peace of mind knowing i *probably* don't have a meniscus tear, or at the very least not a big one and will be back moving soon.
Any swelling?

Actually provides some
Relief at times

Thank you very much for the wonderful tips for diagnosis. I had a knee injury, almost 3 years back while playing volleyball. I was informed by the doctor that it's a ligament related problem, which healed to great extend after one-month physiotherapy. I tried to play cricket but it hurt my knee sometimes (running) so I stopped playing. Do you have any suggestion for exercise or treatment? Thanks a lot.
Just do phisiotherapy exercise
Go get it seriously checked out. My wife just tore her meniscus and had to have surgery. It was torn at the root. That pain you feeling could be bone rubbing on bone because of not having much meniscus left to absorb shock to your knees while running etc… Go to the best Orthopedic Surgeon you can find. Good luck! He or she will get you to take a MRI of your knee in question.

Ungaluku intha problem Iruka??
😂 ugh.
Are there other possible causes for the knee to click/pop when fully extending it?
Thank you from Malaysia. Best explanation.
Glad it was helpful!

Good content! I have a complex tear of medial meniscus diagnosed by PT and verified by MRI. (From a rotational injury). I feel like I could pass most these tests, but have loaded pain at 90 degrees, and can feel the medial meniscus pushing out at midline.
Did they give you anything for the pain
will you need surgery
How you recovered

How's it now?
I went to a doctor, who did some manual testing and didn’t find anything. She said I should go to physiotherapy and we go from there. I went once to the physiotherapist and was not convicted of her. My pain is somehow behind the knee. I feel a strong pain if I bend my knee, hold the tibia and try to stretch the knee against the resistance. Without resistance I can stretch the knee without problem.

What do you think is my problem? I will go again to the doctor and tell her I need an MRI. Do you agree with my plan?

Hi!
I’m about to do these exercises to know if my meniscus are f**** up; I do jiu jitsu and got hurt when an idi*t made me a knee bar (even if it’s illegal in my school); what worries me the most is that I can’t do any strength with that leg, I can walk and all that but if try to lift anything was light as 8-10 pounds it hurts a lot and me knee feels funny all the time;

So when you have issues like this in your knee can they heal or is surgery always needed to get back to a 100%
I had a funny situation. This happened while I was asleep on my left side with my right leg on left one. Plus there is clicking at outer side of my left knee.

Same here. Literally thought I was going to have to be taken to ER last night because I couldn't straighten out my leg & was like there was a catch or something & it needed to be popped back in place. I found out I got meniscus tear problem.
Bad for me....

Do you have any history of injury. I can help you?
Same here been almost a year and still no sign of healing. I want to avoid surgery at all costs (I hate surgery). Maybe stem cell therapy if it won't heal on its own.
Did your knee already heal
Yeah I used to have a torn meniscus that was a major cause of aggravation as well as lots of low grade pain,
And after dealing with it for several years,
I went in and had surgery to correct the tear ,
A part of my meniscus was rubbing up against my knee joint which was causing my problem,
The surgeon went in with a scope and trimmed off the little piece that was rubbing up against my knee joint and that removed the irritation from within my knee joint,
It was summertime when I had that surgery,
When I awoke from the surgery my doctor said that I could use my legs as normal,
Just don’t overdo it until my knee heals,
So four days after my knee surgery I went out and mowed my yard in the hot summer sun while wearing the hospital bandage wrapped around my knee,
My knee didn’t hurt from the surgery,
It did feel weird because they dislocated my knee joint for the surgery in order to insert the scopes,
Other than feeling weird in my knee,
The Areas around the holes were numb,
But my doctor said that was normal until the nerves grew back and that it was just going to take some time for the regrowth ;
Eventually the sensation returned to those areas ,
The numbness was unusual,
I only noticed the lack of sensation in those areas when I would press or touch the surgical site ,
Just weird;
It took a whole year before my knee returned to normal and I could run and jump around on it just the same way as my unaffected knee ;
I never missed any work after my surgery,
Now everything is perfectly normal and fine ,
Not to mention that I’m pain free 👍
I had only wish that I had done this surgery several years before;
Peace out everyone and stay healthy 👍
Update,
I just remembered the name of the type of procedure that I had,
It was called a de-burrment ,
My spelling is wrong,
I’m not a doctor,
I just play one on television,
Oh brother 😱

Thank you for this information. Did your insurance cover your surgery or did you pay a lot out of pocket? May I know how much you paid out of pocket? Thank you
@@astoldbylee2746 sure thing,
Fortunately my i Insurance did cover it all ,
I had that condition for a very long time,
And after my surgery;
My doctor had preformed surgery using a scope procedure,
And I was
Fortunately able to cut my yard a week after The procedure,
Even though my knee was wrapped up like a football player who looked like I was in a very bad accident,
I took everything very slow,
I also had to go to
Physical therapy rehab,
Several times a week,
Basically after work ,
The
Therapy sessions were great,
Even though they were difficult, at first,
It helped me out with my knee,
And it also put me at ease as to what all I should be able to do,
That was an awesome mental relief off my mind knowing that I wasn’t going o to tear up my knee again;
The whole thing seemed like it took forever,
I was very patient,
And I took my time with everything,
All of my medical staff and rehab people were great,
Of course I asked lots of questions,
Hopefully you are able to get your situation taken care of,
Stay safe, and hang in there, be sure to ask lots of questions,
I know how uncomfortable things are for you at this point in time,
But feedback is definitely a very good thing,
Take care,
Peace out and hang in there during this process,

My pleasure! I hope it helps!
Me.
OMG, an actual explanation of what's going on with my knee, well sounds more likely
I hope you found this video helpful, radio girl!
Should I still go to the doctor if I have all these symptoms but I can walk fine as long as I’m at the perfect slightly bended angle... it’s not too painful so I’m just wondering if it’s still worth checking in

Dang, I might have a grade 1 meniscus tear. so a meniscus tear vs a acl it's not as bad right?
It popped after landing, But no swelling, and definitely slight weakness when standing on it. I'm still able to jump and move side to side slightly without much pain.. I did notice doing the straight leg test, it's slightly painful making my leg straight. 🤦🏽♀️
ACL is the worst BUT im not too sure with meniscus but it can heal itself. If the damage is heavy you need surgery but its only 1-3 months max for meniscus

Be ?.....
Did you get your uric acid levels checked?
Sometimes it is too much excercises and not enough stretching that create tightness.
Plus. Your shoes can be a culprit. Right well balanced diet also helps. If you eat on regular bases any sweets, cheaps from supermarket, the food robs you from nutrients.
I hope I helped a bit.
Thanks for your kind information
You are welcome!
I was sitting down and tried to stretch my right knee and it locked up, At first it didn’t hurt and I tried to stretch my leg and all of a sudden I was in pain. I thought I somehow dislocated it because I couldn’t move it unless I forcefully moved it. After a few minutes I felt a pop and the pain went away for the most part. Do you know what that is and why that happened?
Do you have knock knees?
@@dr.anuragsportsphysiotherapist I don’t think I do, But don’t people grow out of those at around ages 7-8 though? I think I have this in both knees. Happened 2 days apart and I’m thinking it’s due to me walking barefoot on hard stone floors and wearing shoes with no support (flip flops/comverse) I’m a nanny of 14 years and that’s why I’m always barefooted but I think this is why I have this pain now!
