Seen a lot of complaints about lack of characters etc Personally I think this is a good thing, lots of core to get you going. Characters are very over priced, so the lack of them should increase the real world value of the box, as opposed to an over inflated “saving” due to including 2 £30 characters
I like that they are offering you a ton of core choices in the box. that being said, regular gobbos I feel struggle to find a space. If you kit them fully with spears, shields, and armor they cost as much as a basic orc and are mush worse. I think you use these guys as archers if you use them at all. NGs just seem better with better options for points. I will be picking up this box though. Need to get da boyz going again!
I think the absolute most pressing matter for this box would have been to redesign the orc boyz. They looked bad even when they were designed sometime last century.
As much as it would have been nice for a redesign (and I really hope they do in the future, and they could have to fit in with both TOW and AOS) I would imagine the release date would have been pushed back stupidly far.
I was extremely unpleasant when GW destroyed the Greenskins faction in AoS, as we now understand, just in order to insert models into ToW in the future. Now rumors say that the Bonesplitters and Beasts of Chaos are next. This is the type of worst bureaucracy that forced GW to make Wh40k 10Ed a bad game, otherwise the Horus Heresy would have had no chance.
Repackaged old tat from 1999-2001. What a great day eh! LMAO. At least the Boar Boyz and Black Orcs are great (though the latter's been superseded by superior "AoS" versions). The 1999-2000 ish boyz hold up... almost... the rest of the plastic range here needs to go in the bin. GW really think Fantasy fans are chumps.

It's not like orc players can't pick and choose from the AoS line anyway.
