Good coffee is not bitter, when I wasn't drinking much coffee a good cup of coffee tasted kinda sweet without any sugar.
I really like the Turkish coffee especially in winter nights because it makes me warmer and fell active to do any physical or psychological activities, as I would be much better if it is bitter.
turkish coffee is really strong. it has its own distinct bitter-ish taste, that's why we serve it with a glass of water and turkish delight. when we finish the drink we flip the cup upside down and place it on the cup's plate. after some time we use the leftover coffee on the cup for fortune telling. we also make sure that the coffee has some foam too. we drink turkish coffee anytime of the day but we especially choose to serve it (we also serve tea) when guests come or when someone is getting married. this is our culture.
Bon apetite. In Turkey we start with cold water for preparing Turkish coffee. Cold water and slow boiling method helps to get more cream and foam layer.
As a Turk, Firstly, I must say that I can understand from his accent that the man in the video is not from Turkey. Turkish coffee is not an easy coffee. First of all, the coffee beans must be fresh and of high quality. This is a very important detail because it contains only coffee and no other ingredients. The guy in the video is doing this the wrong way. First, he needs to pour the coffee and add warm water to it. If you do it this way, you will get a softer coffee. In addition, he could not get the foam of the coffee into the cup, or the coffee was of poor quality and did not foam well. I drink Turkish coffee at least 3 times a day and I think I do pretty well. Turkish coffee is not drunk everywhere because you will probably get a different taste every time you drink it. You may not like it once you drink it, but it may become your favorite the next time you drink it because it is a type of coffee that requires real knowledge to make.
Heated sand...first time for the foam of the coffee..second for the coffee to boil right.. beautiful and yes strong..to me it's better than any flavored coffee

The fact that people can make dishes with hot burning sand is just pure genius
Not really.
How is that genius dude. “Hot thing make other thing hot!! Awooga!!!”
The Beduin in Wadi Rum , Jordan cook a feast inside the sand with a tray. A tribe in Sulawesi near Boneo does cook a feast inside a hole of the ground too

Dude I keep getting these videos of Turkish coffee being made, I want to try some.
I also prefer my coffee being prepared in a kitty litter box yum
It’s hot sand. That’s how Turkish coffee is prepared
you are wrong, the American coffee is made with kitty litter, the Turkish coffee is made with fresh grounded coffee beans, water steamed on hot sand for an even distribution of heat. If you would try, you would immediately see the difference
Pure magic 🎩 ✨️ 💛. Excellent video 📹.

I am a Turk. I don't recommend drinking Turkish coffee too much. Do not drink more than 2 or 3 cups. It's a strong coffee, your conscience can't handle it.
Having flashbacks to working at a Mediterranean restaurant 😅 all them damn Turkish coffees I made

It just sounds like you don't like coffee lmao. Coffee is bitter. But not to coffee lovers. It's sweet to me.
@@benjaminturpin2749 Cheap coffee is bitter. No way around it. You get used to the taste, but that doesn't stop it from being bitter. I used to drink so much cheap coffee, then I stopped for a while when I got a night job, and then I started drinking it again. Maybe a 6 month break, bitterness came back fully.

Physical 😉
turkish coffee is really strong. it has its own distinct bitter-ish taste, that's why we serve it with a glass of water and turkish delight. when we finish the drink we flip the cup upside down and place it on the cup's plate. after some time we use the leftover coffee on the cup for fortune telling. we also make sure that the coffee has some foam too. we drink turkish coffee anytime of the day but we especially choose to serve it (we also serve tea) when guests come or when someone is getting married. this is our culture.
That's haram though.

Bullshit

Heated sand...first time for the foam of the coffee..second for the coffee to boil right.. beautiful and yes strong..to me it's better than any flavored coffee

I think you have to drink with a lot of sugar right to counteract the bitterness
