Coconut oil + salt. Oil pull 10-20 mins.
Whitens, cleans, heals, restores. Floss first to make sure that the oil has access to all of your teeth. And your teeth will love you!
(Ps- spit it out in the trash. That will keep the oil from clogging your pipes. Here's an extra benefit. Oil pulling also cleans out your sinuses)

    • @jodyrobertson996

@Recuerdos I don't brush. I use water. I swish vigorously to loosen debree and spit. Then, I floss for debree that the water missed. Next, I use oil and salt(I use pink Himalayan salt). I do this once to twice a day depending on meal or sugar intake(no brushing for me). However, I am very weird. I believe fimgernails are a useful tool that people ignore. Look at the curvature of dental tools. They resemble fingernails. I use my fingernails for scraping my teeth with more dexterity than any tool. Nails can be used to exfoliate your skin. They do a better job than most scrubbers. Nails can also be used to clip or prune veggies in the garden. If you do any QiGong or acupressure, your nails can go deeper into your stiff muscles and release tension. I don't use toothpaste. I don't use deodorant. I stank for about a year, but after that, I quit stinking. I can work all day and not stink an ounce. Deodorant blocks your lymph nodes and causes cancer. I do not use commercial soaps. I use common ivy or english ivy to make my own soaps.
I sleep on the floor, not a bed. Beds and chairs make my back hurt something ferocious. Sleeping on the floor hurts at first because your muscles are used to certain positions and have to be retrained.
I practice OMAD - one meal a day
16 to 20 hours without eating to place myself into an intermittent fast(this helps fight cancer). THIS helps so many things. You will use the restroom less. If your 4 hour window of eating is before 6 pm, you will have less urination throughout the night. Eating late spikes insulin, which increases urine output. You will defecate once or twice around the same time period every day. As I said. I am a very weird person because I do not believe that what capitalism is selling or pushing or teaching the next generation. I firmly believe that people are nutrient deficient on many levels partly due to the poor soil in industrialized farming. And also due to people's poor diets.

Not completely sure on the oil pulling addendum to cleaning teeth. I don’t think it’s necessary just like charcoal toothpaste too abrasive. Now oil pulling isn’t too abrasive. I just don’t think it’s necessary to clean your mouth. You can get the same affect with toothbrush, and no toothpaste or anything just some mechanical action against the tooth surface that removes the plaque all you need and fl- in there to protect the teeth.

Baking Soda is abrasive. It can wear down the layer of enamel, making the dentin (the yellow inside ot he the tooth) show through making your teeth look more yellow if used daily. It can also irritate the gums, causing inflammation and making the gums swell and pull away from the tooth, allowing bacteria to get to the root, anf cause pockets and eventually bone loss. I would rather use strips, once a yr. But if you're going to use Baking soda, I would limit it to a light brushing once a week and avoid the gums. No one needs to whiten their gums. Also add an enamel strengthening toothpaste to remineralize the teeth, to help offset yellowing and the wearing down of the enamel.

My Granny too, how wild! I thought I was the only one that actually did this method and I actually put toothpaste on my Oral B electric toothbrush, then baking soda on top of that and I’ll either do it that way more so oftentimes, but sometimes after brushing with the toothpaste and baking soda, I’ll rinse brush off and then start over with just baking soda and peroxide on top of that and I will brush my teeth once more with that and it works wonders!! 🎊

How long does it take to whiten your teeth ?

  • @2Hearts3
    @2Hearts3 ปีที่แล้ว +37

Your teeth will love you until they fall out. Baking soda is very abrasive. Frequent use (as recommended here, "several times a week") will weaken the enamel, leading to worse staining, decay, and failure. Don't let that happen to your teeth. Occasional use of a very small amount of baking soda (maybe once a month!) is enough. Instead of baking soda, try turmeric. It actually will whiten teeth, and its ability to fight germs is a big plus. Be careful, though-- it whitens teeth, amazingly, but stains sink, fabric, and other surfaces. But it won't weaken the enamel.

No truth in what you stated. Enamel can only be broken down by a acid. Baking soda is an alkaline. He even states not to brush hard

@@2Hearts3 i don't brush hard. Very lightly. I have also used pulverized walnut dust from Iran. That works great but permanently stains. I also don't consume dairy. The acid in dairy is the REAL culprit in enamel deterioration.

My long deceased Friend and wonderful dentist actually said baking soda, small amount of salt and very warm 8 ounces of water.
Was the best and only mouthwash he ever recommended.
My Mom also had us use it for mouth burns from hot foods as well.
    It always worked great.

I use it like seasoning, you may not need a lot of black pepper, but a lil goes a long way, and dilute it in coconut oil or water. I did it with my underarms which usually would swell up with baking soda, but a bit, diluted, ain’t cause no harm

    • @johnny07652

@@jasirahsayyad8499 but you're still destroying your enamel, just more slowly than you otherwise would. Why not use products with peroxide which can whiten without destroying enamel? Why destroy your enamel at all, even slowly? Your approach doesn't make any sense to me unless you just don't care about losing your enamel (and eventually your teeth). That's just weird.

@@johnny07652 alright now, Johnny boy, to each his own, and just to use your knowledge against you a bit, when toothpaste bought from stores, utilize baking soda or hydrogen peroxide, which can be harsh when used alone or for a long period of time, within their formula with the addition of other ingredients, is that not a paradigm of dilution, and in your case wouldn’t it be better to avoid it all together, given your abrasive stance?
