Great job man. Just like in an RC car a large industrial 3 phase motor will still run on 2 legs. Much less efficient but it still runs. You did an awesome job trouble shooting the issue and your knowledge and determination saved you from wasting money on a new motor. 💯💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ new sub for sure....

THANK YOU, just got a new Castle ESC and Motor and it’s doing this exact thing. Tried all the control settings swapped all the wires around to no avail (just mad it clogg forwards rather than reverse), was so down hatted as I’ve always bought cheap kits before! Going to get the soldering iron out tonight then. Top video. I’ll hit the sub button NOW.
Please help me my brushless goolrc motor is beeping and won’t move I went in a small water puddle does the beeping mean the I have to have a program card because I have a program card comeing in the mail soon and my motor shaft is twitching when I move it
I have the same problem but with a larger 48V 1200W motor and it also has an encoder, I'm afraid to apply the same method, do you think there is a problem if I test your system?
@@Meuh974 This is the problem I have a problem, when start all good in the fist speed but when have the m,ax RPM take hits inside, I think is the coil but I don't know how repair, looks same at your motor in the video.
I tried this and after testing all the wires one time, my vxl-3s started smoking. I unplugged it imidiately and now it doesn’t have reverse anymore and it heats up very fast when I plug a battery.

Meuh974 as it turns out it was the ABS setting on the controller causing the issue, flysky fs-gt3c turn it to off no problems!

If you apply throttle for one second and make sure to not do any short circuit it should be okay.

Mine, it moves every time I unplug each one of them( spin back and fourth).
Your ESC may be damaged.
Wires are easy to fix but if it is something else it's easier to replace the esc.

Have you tried with another transmitter? Your ESC may be fried too. Don't know.
Yer what if it’s brand new though?
