I've noticed with some HW speed controls the reverse doesn't always work. After throttle range calibration, I think I would turn the throttle trim slightly back and this would help fix the problem.
In a brushless set up it will be fine switching positive and negative wires to either choose fwd or reverse position but in a brushless sensored motor that would be a issue Just thought I'll share that in case Sombody isn't aware that sensored motors can not switch positive and negative wires could cause issues
Having issues. Red light keeps flashing on me. I'm unable to calibrate. I'm using a dumborc receiver and transmitter. A hobbywing sc8 120 amp ESC in a 4s arrma granite with a stock motor.
Make sure your ESC is plugged into channel 2 on the receiver. Also make sure your motor wires are plugged into the proper order on your ESC. Sometimes when using different company ESC/motor combo the colors will not match on the wires from motor to ESC.
We tried this a million times today with an E-Revo TQI. We could'nt get this to work. We saw a HW-Video and tons of people in the comments said the same. They never get the green light-feedback, no matter if its for neutral, throttle or reverse. Any idea?
What motor are you using? It's possible you have the wires plugged in the wrong order. I have not tried it with a TQI radio but you might need to check if throttle is on reverse.
You can do that too. What I usually like to do is slide the motor away and tighten the screws. This way the the gears are still on and there is no power going to the drivetrain.
Helped me out, thanks for sharing.worked on the ez run esc and 4000kv HB combo with slt 3 TX/rd.👍
Great 👍
Thank you bro im new to this really help me
Glad I could help! let me know if you have questions or suggestions for other videos

Thank you for checking it out

GREAT VIDEO. TANKS
Thank you too!
How do you switch reverse throttle on and off??
You can switch off reverse throttle to have brake instead. If that's what you're talking about, you can do that pretty easy with the program card/box.

Thanks for sharing, I forgot about that.
What kind of tires are those
They are Team Associated Nomad General Tires.

Try turning the throttle trim knob, once it's set to 0% or neutral, the flashing red light should stop and it will connect

Instead of removing the spur gear, just set it up on a block or a rc truck stand.

Good God DO NOT SWITCH THE + AND THE -. ...just swap any 2 of the 3 wires going to motor if it's not senserd
Yes, that is correct
