The pretty scenic pillow is from Bruges, Belgium. Bruges is home to some of the finest chocolate in Belgium! I haven't see what your kitchen looks like, but you could use the cushion in your kitchen and style it with some chocolate things.....a tin, a mold, an old whisk! Fun! and yummy thoughts!
Danielle, I love your videos. You have such good taste in what you purchase and how you decorate with the pieces. I live in West Texas. We don’t see the quality pieces that you come across in our Goodwills. But, I do love trying. I want to compliment you on your choice of music for your videos. I have decided that you are a musician because your music is always beautiful. Thank you for that. 🎶❤️🎶
Love the idea of using the pillow sham as a tablecloth for the nightstand. So good. Love the blue and green pillow as well. And of course, the toile! I love toile too, and have been trying to figure out how to incorporate it into my decor. Nice job! 😊
I miss your girlie vintage videos they were my favorite. I love how you decorated the wall with the little cabbage plate and the art and the large platter plate. They just all go so well with each other🎀🩷💕
Hi Danielle Jackson and Lincoln ❤ happy Monday I also love throw pillows especially the holiday pillows like Easter any holiday pillow thanks for sharing always Laura xoxo
I love how you are decorating the guest room. The greens and blues look so good. Love the sham on the side table, and those throw pillows are too cute! Also, so glad you picked up all of those books & that little dictionary. 💚
My idea with the pillow case that you said that maybe framing, I would use it as a wall hanging but I would use a wooden dowel and slide it threw even hot glue it , whatever you want to do to secure it but you can get wooed dowels at Walmart and you could easily stain then and put one at the top and one at the bottom and you could use some jute twine to hang it? Just an idea? Love akim
I love the pillow on the bed! It just brought it all together! So pretty! You found some great treasures!! Would love to see a home tour! I love your style!!❤
I often see things I've donated as well at the thrift. I am always curious what they price them at too. I love your guest room, always nice to have a space you can just have fun with. The green and blue is gorgeous 💙💚 My favorite is the pillow with the blue flowers , so pretty!!
I love the pillow cover so glad you got it!! When I saw that box I said “ooh you could use it for books”😂 and then you got it and said the same thing 😂 The guest room is looking great!
I was thinking I must have missed that trophy in your video, I only saw that crappy plastic one. I was totally surprised when it turned out to be that one. I usually see beyond the surface of ugly ducklings and see the swan. All I can say is Bravo, well done🏆
Loved the dish in time frame 2:05…giving Mackenzie-Childs (White Flower Market design) vibes. Cute drawer as well. I can see cute dessert dishes displayed inside too. The pops of blue and green are so refreshing especially during the springtime. Great haul.
*I L💚💙VED the blue and green plaid pillow with the hydrangeas on the front, Danielle, and hoped you bought it...and you did❣️🥰 The bow you made from the material you found and fashioned to hang on the wall above the bed looks so pretty. I also L💚🤍VED the green and white pillow sham you used as a small tablecloth and the matching bedspread you found for your bed. It all looks so inviting and cozy in your guest bedroom with your additional pillows. I have used pillow shams as table covers, too, and they work so well‼️😉🌿💙💚🤍🍃*
@ Nina Anderson....the information I have is from my part-time employer that knows a few board members. Also, from my own personal research....and from the Goodwill sustainability mission themselves. Upon inquieries about end-of-life items, I'm led to understand that Goodwill has established policies and procedures but can't possibly "watch" every single location or employee. So, of course, there will be staff that sadly don't adhere to the policies and choose the easy route of just throwing things away. "When the cats away, the mice will play." As for information passed along by content creators/TH-camrs regarding the landfill, it is like the ultimate game of Telephone. One person makes a statement then it is repeated over and over until it changes and what started as one person's opinion has somehow morphed into an misguided belief of truth.
Love your deer shots!! You have well trained dogs to not bark at them. My dog would tear the window up trying to get to them. How can you not like the red, white and blue on that frame?? Thanks for making pleasant and calm videos.
Nice buys. I thought you would get that trophy. ;) U love the vintage books. When I saw the bedroom pic come up in my You tube feed I had to look twice at your name. The colors in the guest room were completely different then your usual style! They are attractive though and look pretty for springtime.. I understand your toss pillow addiction. I have garment bags hanging from rods in my basement with toss pillows and quilts in them. I weed out now and then and often forget what I have in them.
Great video as usual; SO many beautiful items in your stores. My Goodwill and Savers mostly has items that appear to be garage sale rejects - I rarely find anything decent anymore. 😢
I love all the green you thrifted in your bedroom. I adored the soldier picture. I have never seen one like that before. It was awesome. I got your Email and will send the cup as soon as I get a box. My hubby put all the ones I had in the trash.
***did you check to see if there was ashes in those urn's? There's a good chance a woman may have "dropped" her in-laws off at the Goodwill right after she filed for divorce...not that I know that for a fact ...I'm just saying...🤔***
Hi Danielle...nothing from Goodwill goes to the landfill. We will never know who started that rumor but it's not true. Anything from the bins that doesn't get sold in one area of the country will get sent back to the processing center to get sent back out in a different area....i.e.: city, state or even another part of the country. Anything deemed not in "sellable" condition gets sent to various processing manufacturers to get turned into building materials, bottles, fabric solutions, etc.. Many items are also donated to schools and homeless shelters. Please consider being part of the truth by using your platform to inform others what really happens....and to help stop the falsehood of what happens to end-of-life items. Thank you!!! 😊
I’ve read some articles about it before and I think mostly clothes get sent off as bundles to other countries or used as scrap rags. The hard goods either get salvaged for metals or if it’s useable wood, but everything else is burned. Idk that’s just what I gathered from google and ex-employees via google. I care mostly about the books! Haha I hope they don’t burn those but they get destroyed in the bins so I can’t imagine they don’t burn them. :(
The gentleman I work for part-time is friends with several board members and the Foundation operated by him and his wife are supporters of Goodwill. He says that they literally do everything they can to find a use for everything end-of-life. Yes, it is true that some items are even sent to other parts of the world. He has never mentioned about items being burned....I'll ask. But if the does happen, it is still better than ending up as refuse in a landfill. I agree with you about the books. So sad the state some of them end up in. I'm glad to see that more and more of the crafting content creators are using old, damaged books for their crafting and art projects. Some of the miniature dollhouse channels also make use of the damaged books. 😊😊
Sorry but my GW does put things in the diumpster. They were loading a cart with glassware and I asked what they were going to do with it and one girl told me it was going to the dumpster. It broke my heart. I told her I would never bring Amy glassware there ever again.
@@neenamorgan6958 .... That is so sad to hear. It sounds as though some locations just do what they want and possibly not following headquarters rules. I feel like they would be pretty unhappy to hear about items being thrown in the trash. Especially glass, which can be easily recycled.
I have asked managers at Goodwill, many locations and they have told me the items get three chances at retail stores, go to the bins and finally to landfills. I don’t think Danielle needs to be told how to behave on her own channel. Danielle, don’t let rudeness affect your channel, you know what you have researched and what is being told to shoppers. If Goodwill didn’t charge such prices, they would have more sales.

The tapestry pillow cover would look great hanging from something like a dowel rod or even a pretty twig. It's beautiful.
Clever idea to paint the trophy! It looks great.

The pillow cover is really cool

Love the trophy idea and so glad got the carved vase.
Anyone else say out loud buy that lol. That beautiful cream bowl with rose 🌹❤😂
I like your bedroom and you don't always have to have all pillowset matching. Odd are good.

Okay, Thank you so much!! And I hope you can find yourself some others that you love as much!
You could hang the tapestry pillow case from a rod instead of framing it....
Your bedroom looks amazing and I am in love with those pillows, your bedding and books. You really got some great thrift items on this trip for sure.
Goodwill prices have gone up drastically, seriously? All GW stuff is DONATED.
I think of you put the single king sham on the bed with a single king pillow, propped up like the throw pillow, it would look great.
❤
Love your guest room 😃!
🩷🩷🩷😽!!
