The wooden bowl is for nut cracking. It came with a small mallet back in the day. You pou a walnut on the metal center and hit it with the mallet.
Yes, I agree - it looks like my grandmas nut bowl and the tool poked in the middle hole.

Hi from New Zealand. I think the wooden bowl is for nuts the top is where you crack them open. It would of originally come with a mallet/hammer.

Hey there! I’m a professional chef, floral designer and event planner bc I love to do decor and set up too. Like yourself, I source also paint florals and always set up the bases for all of the arrangements with silk bc it saves time. After painting those, I paint on poly clear acrylic sealer and I promise, you can not tell they aren’t real. Often we piece in real florals in water tubes. It’s always over the top amazing and I thought you’d enjoy this idea too. The painted florals don’t fade and last forever so it’s worth the extra effort- I reuse all of the bases and we do some very elaborate and large pieces built onto chandeliers for supersized candleabras (we remove the electric and add candles) for example. Love your channel and vibe! Because I enjoy your ideas I’m sharing also since you are so creative!

You fix up so much cute Christmas stuff all year I bet you could get a booth at a flea market or craft show in November and make a killing. You fix it up so much cuter that it was in the store.

My favorite thrifts are the 2 different greenery displays.
Hi Tiffany. I just found your videos. I think the color you might be trying to achieve (getting the yellows/browns out of the branches and baskets) could be achieved by using the oven cleaner method. (Spray on oven cleaner heavily, wait ten minutes and wipe off, if the color you want is achieved then rinse and let dry. If not, do spray and wait intervals of ten minutes before rinsing and letting dry.) This method can save you some time. It works great for the shiny surface furniture/decor too! 😀
I would say you are far luckier than me because our bins look nothing like yours. I can only wish we had such good stuff.
What you got from your bins is AMAZING! My Goodwill would have sold all those items for even more than what yours had them marked! What a great haul!

It is a bowl for unshelled nuts the riser in the middle f the bowl holds the nut cracker and usually 4 pickers to remove the nuts.
Another gorgeous redo of un Loved stuff from the bins. Not many people go to the bins and do videos Yours are the best. I especially loved how you redid the small A ladder. Also How you refix those pictures Was. super ,I have a couple that need to be done

The wooden bowl looks like the bottom of a dip and chip bowl. The top screws into the center part for the "dip". Love your hauls and transformations.

You have a true talent with baskets
Your goodwill bins have a ton of cool stuff. The one I go to people will absolutely fight you win the new bins first come out. It's ridiculous. I'm not fighting over anything let alone and hat is considered someone else's trash lol
Thankfully most people are fairly considerate at ours. I think it depends quite a bit on the employees and what they will allow. Thankful for a good crew at our store! Thanks for joining me here!

The wooden bowl looks like it may have had an additional piece screwed into it, another bowl like a tiered tray, or maybe a smaller piece like for dips 🤷♀️ Love the basket with the beads on it! I'm so glad you decided to rescue and redo the little step ladder! Its so cute.. I've been looking for an old one to sit plants and things on out on the porch. It turned out so pretty! The kitty looks so precious😊 I love the wreath on the front door and the one with red berries..beautiful❤ I love the riser, they can be used for so much, the addition of the little feet is just so cute! Love all of your ideas! I just picked up a wooden bowl like that at GW. I am planning on painting it but was planning on trying to cut the middle piece off. My core is make of wood only. Looks like yours has some sort of black material. Now that I have read your comments and know what it is I will surely leave it there. Great video!

That "H" was a lucky find!!! Love all of these projects. Your videos make me want to hit our bin store as I haven't been in awhile. I once bought a cute summer dress there for .10 cents. I wore it to work and everyone liked it and kept asking where I got it. I finally had to tell them "at the Goodwill bin store for .10 cents". A little embarrassing at first but everyone was amazed and liked the idea. 😊 Sweet kitty.

I'm addicted to your shows and the way you see potential for beauty in what looks ugly today. One question lingers though. You do a lot of spray painting in what looks like your garage. I have not figured out how you are able to use a relatively tiny piece of paper underneath your turn table without having the floor look like it has 59 coats of paint.

This video is the best DIY/thirft store haul I've seen! You are an excellent video producer, creative mind TH-camr. I love your projects! A lot of folks on here attempt to create stuff out of stuff buy yours are truly a success! I really love watching and now subscribe. All the work you put into reusing the furniture is brilliant.
