Going somewhere on a whim is my favorite way to go! Perfect finds for your growing collections Danielle! Everything looks meant to be in their placements ❤❤❤
Love Round Top! I have gone once, close to 30 years ago, and it was so much fun. I remember parking the car in a field and watching for cow patties as we walked to and from it! LOL! It is out in the middle of nowhere. I buy old card photo portraits too and call them my instant relatives!
After your videos I find myself searching for a very particular word. Sometimes I can't find it, but the word is "deliberate". You typically know or at least have an idea in mind. And I love that you don't spend fool heartedly. But you find the most amazing things.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful at Round Top you got wonderful peices and as always your styling is awesome. Have a wonderful blessed Monday and week.
nice finds.....a Daguerreotype is the first type of photo from 1830s-1860 - you will see a mirrored effect to the image, the Ambro was the next photo (made about 1854-1860) which was an image on glass, and the tintype is an Image on tin & cheaper to make from 1860- early 1900s.
Round Top is on the bucket list, so Happy you got to go. Good thing I wear glasses or my eyes would have popped out of my head. Wowza, the treasures and-gulp-the prices. You found such charming pieces. Your new to you relatives are charming💕
Danielle you have so many beautiful items, large and small!!You style everything so beautifully!!It's so much fun to see what you do!!!I just love those fancy spoons you bought! Enjoy your little treasures!!😁❤👍
The Fall Round Top show has a lot more Christmas. Make sure you go to all the fields in Warrenton. They have better pricing. Weekdays aren’t as crowded. Oh and don’t forget to stop at Bella’s in Round Top she has the best smelling candles!
When I was a collector, I use to love finding the old albums with the pics of 1800 -early1900 with awesome photos. I loved children, mustaches and ladies hats . Instant family. Love seeing young women preserving the past. Tfs cheers
This probably is one if my favorite finds videos! Oh my gosh you found some beautiful things! I absolutely adore the mannequin bust with the way you have it displayed. You have a beautiful touch with decorating. The spoons! I started collecting them when I started watching your videos. The spoons are beautiful.
I live in Brenham which is close to Round Top. I’ve had success finding vintage Christmas at fall shows. Come some time when you can stay for a couple of days. All of the antique shops in the towns around feature special items and sales. And some of the towns have “fairs” with vintage and antique items. The prices are often less because these are local people who don’t have the travel expenses. There are lots of bed and breakfasts here, but be sure to make reservations early. I enjoy watching your videos.
It is a good learning tool to pay to go into the big expensive parts. But truly as you did it is better to go find the booths set up in pastures along the different roads into Round Top. Looks like you had a blast! Great finds love all the old photos and that hook is super cool
Hi Danielle Jackson and Lincoln ❤ happy Sunday I've heard of round top sounds like fun I love the cute salt and pepper set so antique thanks so.much for sharing always Laura ❤️
Danielle, that was so fun! I have heard of Round Top but have never been there. Thank you for taking us along. I loved where you styled your purchases. They look awesome & I have been getting so many great ideas from you. Hope you have a good week.😊

So glad y'all got to go. That's on my bucket list, I live in the Texas Panhandle so it's a 9 hour drive with no stops. But hopefully one day. Love all the goodies you purchased
Danielle loved all you new treasures! And as usual loved how you displayed them!! I could spend the day just looking at all your treasures and how you style them!! Well done!!❤
Not only are these things fun to collect… they are great reminders of places you’ve been throughout your life….especially if you continue to to enjoy antiques!
I hope you know about bargaining at flea market sales & antique stores. Most will give a 10% discount for asking for it. On those 3 spoons, the vender states their high price, you offer your low price or say, is that the best you can do? Walk away to see if the price is lowered, say you might return (be prepared for them to be gone). Come back & say, will you take $8 for all 3? Do this often for things you can walk away from to learn the technique. My husband was a dealer and always sold high in the morning, re
Goodness, all the awesome treasures! I would be in sensory overdrive😂 I just love all those cute little old ornate frames with those old photographs that you keep picking & up in the begining were amazing❤ I love to collect ornate frames and art, Victorian or old photographs are my favorite!! I just loved them! The ladies were so elegant! I haven't come across any good cabinet cards, I'd love to find some..i like the same kind that you do, those beautiful ladies!❤ Lol.. those are called handlebar mustaches😄 They were some handsome gentlemen! I just got my 2nd sugar spoon! She's so pretty😊 There were several pieces of silverware with it including a little baby spoon & fork. The hat pins are beautiful! I love finding cute little pieces just to tuck in places.. so i love the bathroom shelf and the cabinet in the bedroom. The cabinet is my favorite, so many gorgeous pieces❤ I enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing all your beautiful finds, and taking us along on your adventure at Roundtop!
Hi Danielle ! Now .... I'm amazed you didn't get that Duck in a Basket at the beginning of the video ! 🦆 🧺 😂 Wonderful sale video .... Loved the Bud Vase and the Spoon collection, and they're all original. What I find amazing is that before everything you purchase, you already know where you're going to put them. That's a very fine skill you have. Always look forward to your TH-cam Sunday posts ... And, despite the time difference between the States and the UK, I always stay up to watch them. It's always compulsive viewing, lovely Lady ! Thank you ❤️👏😉🇬🇧
The Occupied Japan is the time period the Allies administered/occupied Japan after WWIi ie their surrender. It was a time period from 1945-1952 approximately.
Awesome video
Occupied Japan 1945 to 1951, usually more valuable because of the short time period. What a fun place to go if only to look around. Such unique finds!
Some of those prices do seem high but you got some nice things that don’t seem too bad.
I get so many good staging ideas from your videos. Thanks for sharing your home!
You always find the neatest things! And, of course, you style them so beautifully!
I know ! She’s just the greatest styling her aesthetic! I fall in love every time .

Since I’m fairly new to your channel, can you tell me something about yourself? How’d you come to love vintage/antique stuff?
The Occupied Japan is the time period the Allies administered/occupied Japan after WWIi ie their surrender. It was a time period from 1945-1952 approximately.
Japan was occupied between 1945 and 1952.
