  • Based roughly on fellow Alaskan Ana White's @AnaWhiteDIY I created my own design and built this Farmhouse bed frame. I made my own plans in Sketchup and set out to build this bed frame.

That looks great. I would like a twin bed like that. 😊

Thank you, I was pleasantly surprised how well that poplar looked after finishing.

You are very talented, as always you come with videos that impress.
Are you retired? Did you have a job that was blue collar or are you learning everything as you go?

Thanks Caleb, I am a retired Electrical Engineer with a woodworking hobby. I retired in 2019 and built my shop!

@@AlaskaWorkshop I've been slowly building my little garage shop also. I would like to eventually build a small building for my shop!
Keep up the great videos! You'll always have a viewer from me!

I really enjoy your videos. I see that you have Wen products. Do you recommend the track saw? Right now ,I put the plywood on the floor on top of foam insulation and use the Kreg rip cut guide with the circular saw. It works but the cut is never exact.

I am still using my Wen track saw but like you, I never trust that it will be exact. I cut to within an eighth of an inch and then finish up with the table saw. I am looking to upgrade it soon.
