i love it how everyone criticises this guy because how small the cage is, they are all ignoring the fact that this lori is happy and exited, and the fact that he talks that much, shows how much time the onwer dedicates to it.
cool. I got the same parrot. I put a lot of hanging toys for him in a cage, special rope and so on..Please organize for your pet something! - some extra tree branches at least - its easy to find in the park. Easy to put in the cage. Can you imagine how boring is it for him to sit there waiting for you all day?! Food - we ve tried different types (from the shops} - he likes from Colles the most of all. Its hard to make it at home, and what for? Plus fruits and veges...They like dry fruits too...
@tiki3bar I'm sorry to hear that you lost Fuzzy. I hope he didn't suffer. 30 years is a good life for a Lori. My little Rainbow Lori, Einstein, died 5 months ago. She contracted a lung infection. The vet thinks she inhaled some food and her lungs became infected. She was only 8 years old. I'm not angry at glyapik, it's clear that the bird is well looked after, but I just don't want him to loose his little Rainbow.
+TheReaperMC You can not call him a good owner. Because he cut her bird´s wings. He must take care that the bird don´t fly away. It is so easy. Close your windows and doors. All my Birds can fly. I´m feel bad when I see that someone cut wings. Sry when you want a animal that can´t fly away than buy a cat or a snake or........ At the end I hope here Lori has a partner.I think it is a poor poor Lori, when not.
+mrsbirdlady I Totally agree here. I have had a few Rainbows over the years, clipped and unclipped and it is better not to clip them. This is so they can fly around my house and spread their wings, this gives them incredible enjoyment and freedom. Yes you must be extremely vigilant that they do not get out but that is a responsibility you must adhere to and is up to the owner to keep the parrot safe. There are numerous dangers around the house as well, regardless if they are clipped or not.
The cage is a disgrace..its not the birds fault. My lorikeet has a really big cage and plenty of food of all different types and I change the paper daily so its clean. That's how it should be. Plus mine is out of her cage around 10 - 12 hours a day as she needs to exercise her wings.
Gorgeous little bird. Please tell me that you have cleaned that cage. And that he has access to food and water while he's in there. And what the hell do you do for a living? You have a vice attached to your desk?!
Oh that cage is horrible! My green cheak has a bigger cage and way more toys. Hope you did something with the comments about the cage and make his life more happy
I love your Lori! But it looks like he needs a couple other parrot toys in his cage. maybe something he can shred etc. Im not tryna to nit pick. just hoping he has more things to entertain himself and keep him busy. Great videos!
I never that a cockatiel, how much longer you can leave it roam freely in your house? After is "trained" and used to be around you of course, 'cause I know at some point you have too, but is kinda sad lock it in this 'house'. But err... yeah it would create havoc in you don't... right? xD
glyapik. im not sure from what age you've had Lori, ive got an 18 week old rainbow Lou. What age do they begin mimiking words, and becoming really playful? Lou still only seems to screech for food then trys to cuddle up somewhere to sleep! such a sook!!
And put some newspaper on the bottom of the cage. It's easier to clean, so it will get done more often. Use scissors to cut a thick stack of news print to fit the bottom of the cage. Then just peel off the top page every day. Easy peasy!
@@boogathon hey do u have a lori cuz i need to know advise what to feed my lori when it grows up , ik what they should eat but i mean like other stuff they can eat..
That cage is too small :\ Please clean it more often for the sake of the bird. You could just put newspaper on the bottom and have a cage with a grate and just change the newspaper daily. Having your bird walk around in its own waste is very unhealthy.
That poor bird is in prison,my lorikeet has the freedom of the whole house thru the day and a big cage at night with a colourful blanket that's changed daily, where's this lorikeets drinks etc, CRUEL!
He is gorgeous. They are so cheeky, you shouldn't be surprised that he tells you to shut up :D What do you feed him? I think you really need to change his food as the pale yellow colour of his beak indicates liver problems and/or nutritional deficiency. I think a trip to the vet would be a very good idea before it gets any worse. Healthy rainbows should have a dark orange or blood red beak. Good brands in Aus are Passwell's Complete Lorikeet or Avione Complete Lorikeet, plus fruits and veggies.
ok.....wow 1. Are you kidding.... THAT'S his cage. ummm ok CLEARLY YOU HAVE NO COMPREHENSION OF MUCH ROOM A LORI NEEDS can you please go out and buy a cage that is at least..... 2m x 2m x 1m He's not a Budgie, He's a rainbow Lori 2. You should be ashamed making that poor bird stand in his own waste how would you like that? Please take better care of him I mean it only takes 5 minutes to clean and disinfect the cage and put fresh food and water every day. Look I am not trying to put you down or anything I am just trying to get you to take a little better care of your beautiful bird. He is just awesome,
I love his little bouncing-chattering noise.
i love it how everyone criticises this guy because how small the cage is, they are all ignoring the fact that this lori is happy and exited, and the fact that he talks that much, shows how much time the onwer dedicates to it.
this made me laugh so hard 😂
my lories loved watching lorie 😂
The pinnacle of creation finally finds another species with the potential to communicate - and what does he teach her?
"Shut Up!"
People keep saying the cage is small. But really, te cage is perfect if his parrot is out almost all the time
its a really bad cage for a bird like this i think lori has died sadly but i have seen him have bigger cages for lori so i think its alr

Lovely bird, but I wish you hadn't cut his wings as they get great pleasure in flying around.

You can say that until they fly out the door and get killed by either the elements, wild birds or predators.

YES. Small cage, my lori had one like that to travel only. At home it used to be a big one.

I've given up trying to win an argument with my Olive Rainbow. Mine tells the vet to 'get out, leave alone, go now!' lol
