Mine had the same issue. Upgrading the firmware fixed it. It is a fantastic camera. You can change between mechanical and electronic shutter without diving into the menus and by pressing a button. And the leaf shutter is just amazing.

I’m picking one up this weekend from a friend, can’t wait to use it as I shoot only 35mm film as it is. Great video on a great camera, thanks!

The X100F is my everyday camera. I first got the X100T, but the considered the autofocus to be somewhat slow. Didn't bother me until I saw a great deal for the X100F that I now own. I was able to sell the X100T for almost the same price I got it.

I just picked up the X100F for $900 in Silver 10/10 condition with the manuals, box, and extra accessories. Such a beautiful camera. I was going to get the X100V but the price is not worth it and I really like the D-Pad on the F because they remove the D-Pad in the V. Speaking of Aputure, f4 seems to be the sweet spot for me.

May I ask…the problem he described with the curtain not functioning, for the EVF vs OVF, was resolved with an internal loose connection? Was it repaired by FUJI? (…it doesn’t sound like it’s user repairable.) 🙂

@@TrilobitesRTasty i solved it my self, i removed the bottom and back plate, and under the cobberplate, there was a wire with connection, it came from the botton that controlles the m,c,s botton on the side of the camera. After connecting this, both the curtain, m,c,s and the memorie when changing battery worked.

@@jalllysen4504 - WOW! That's amazing. I lack confidence in my own abilities to even attempt such a thing. :)
