I sold my X100F to fund the purchase of a X100VI. The X100VI has been on back order for 6 months in the UK with no sign of the situation getting better. So, I bought a replacement X100F and was lucky enough to find one in mint condition. I now have no intention of buying a X100VI. The X100F is, on reflection, all I need.

It’s indeed a very capable camera even now! Enjoy your new X100F :)

spent the day comparing images from my X100VI and X100F ... tbh, X100F is better. The lenses are to weak for the sensors on both camera. And the X100F build is so much nicer. Sorry, X100VI is too slick, no longer a camera for me...

I would not consider marginal the differences between a T and a VI : improved lens , more MP (but you need a fixed lens in order to reveal full potential) , articulated screen, IBIS, better AF, better video ...
The X100T is still a great performer , thought. My X100 (the orginal one) does not work anymore , but I still use a XT1 and the results are still nice, dispite only 16 mp

Hi there, thank you for your comment!
I agree with you that compared to T camera the differences are not that marginal. In my case i was comparing the F to VI but some of your arguments still hold indeed.
I just feel that if you compare the price of the new camera versus the old F, the differences you outlined might not be substantial enough to drop double the amount of money.
And for those folks the F still offers great value.

I have owned s, t and f. Sold them all. The AF on the t and f is more noisy than on the s.
I recently got a used s model again (guess I missed it), and I love the IQ and simplicity of the camera. Am considering getting the f, for the higher resolution. Its just so expensive used.

The jump in resolution is not that big, unless you print large or you intend to aggressively crop…
      Id keep the s ;)

@@TechFi-te3ik Looking though my old images, I think the F images pop more.

Am expecting delivery of my x100F soon! The newer models have the DPad missing.

Maybe it was because I’m just a little disapointed, or maybe its because I’ve used other systems but somehow the Fuji X100 just wasnt right for me.
I started with the the Fuji x100f I but the V felt as a major improvement. I didn't like the F because its slow, the viewfinder isn't very clear and the manual focus is near impossible to use because of the older focus by wire system. Autofocus is almost a must but other than the center point is painfully slow. I missed some great opportunities that I probably would have gotten with the Fuji x100v.
Somehow I felt that the X100f was holding me back. I fell for the hype, even invested in the x100v just to prove to myself but I'm glad that i sold x100 and bought a Nikon Zf, its just a more versatile system that offers better performance. Yes it isn't as pocketable but I never could fit the x100 in any of my pockets either. I would really only recommend the F if you can find it at a bargain en feel what the x100v would feel like as a test, otherwise just skip it.

Thank you for your comment, that is a valuable perspective, that is different to one in my video.
X100 V and VI are obviously superior to F in terms of autofocus speed and all the other technical improvements of the camera, no doubt there. You mentioned that you've missed some great opportunities - and it's a shame - I hope your Nikon Zf (which is a fantastic camera) serves you well.
I agree with some of your points, and I feel if you're in a certain photography style where you'd benefit from faster autofocus, clearer display or IBIS - people should go for V or VI. But for many, functionalities of F and still amazing picture quality would be just as good.
Besides, there are millions of great pictures that were shot on F, cameras that were similar to F in performance as well as countless models of older cameras that came before ;)
