Just picked up an X100F as my first camera and this video was the exact thing I was looking for after being overwhelmed by all the settings! Thanks a lot!
Great video! I'm relatively a beginner, and it helped to watch the video about 3 times to really help me absorb and process, and play around with the settings during the video. I have a much better understanding of this camera (that I've now had for a few years). Thank you for putting this together.
Great video. I just got my X100F and was overwhelmed with all the possibilities this camera has. One thing I want to know is how to set the camera for night shots
Gracias !!! I have already subscribed to your channel, this video was very very useful. I like the way you explain because is practical and useful, you just go straight to the important points. (= Gracias !
I purchased a Fujifilm X100F about a month ago. Put about 200 exposures on it so far trying to learn how to use it everything going fine until something weird happened on my last outing with it: a dark 'blind' suddenly appeared across the lower half of the viewfinder window (black what looks like metal) and I don't know why it happened nor how to get rid of it. I prefer to use the camera with manual focusing and auto exposure. I did put the optional adapter ring and a 49 mm UV/haze filter on it to protect the lens. Any suggestions?
When turning shutter dial you said 400th of a second was fastest when you were at 1/4000th. You also forgot to mention that you have to be in Jpeg to make the digital zoom work. This had me thinking my camera was broken until I read that section in my book again ! Loved the video though, just a few things that I noticed.
thats what im struggling with right now lol. for the price, im almost leaning towards the xt30. with the fuji pancake lens, the price and size is pretty comparable. and with the xt30 you have the option to use other lenses.
I love mine. However, I wonder about the quality. The first one (from B&H) was stuck in continuous shooting mode . They replaced the camera. The speaker died on the second camera after a few months. I sent it in for warranty repair and it was fixed in about 1 week. Service response has been very good, but I was not expecting to have service done on a camera that was only a few months old!
I wish someone made something like this with a real 3 or 4 step lens. 35, 50, 85 equivs. A bridge cam, mostly manual, aps sensor. About the best overview vid I've seen for this cam.
You go a bit too fast for first time users to follow - especially when choosing buttons and going on to the next thing. A breakdown index of where to find the start to a topic would also be helpful. I had to watch this over and over in order to follow you and to a specific topic.
When you make a mistake, edit in the correction. The shutter dial goes up to 4000 not 400. Also, most don't understand the teleconverter options - 50mm and 70mm. It is a crop and we know cropping too much deteriorates the image, but it also upscales the image, which is software talk for corrections to the photo to compensate for the crop. The TC is not a crop only device.

You are running out of battery!
1/4000 is not four hundredth dude
Obviously he said it wrong! Nobody's perfect, everyone makes mistakes.
Lost me at four hundred.
4 thousandths of a second, not r hundredths (1:06)
