Agreed this is more than a simple P&S. Built in ND filters, hybrid viewfinder, APS-C sensor, manual dials...this camera was and still is loaded. I had this camera 5 years ago, and just ordered a used one again.

The x100s and even the x100 first gen all have built in film simulation

Bought a used one a couple of months back. & yeah the 1st Jpeg's SOOC was a wow moment. I was surprised how fast the focusing was, at least in broad daylight. I suspect it might struggle in lower light but maybe I'll be surprised. I shoot Oly, Canon M sys, Nikon apsc & FF also but those 1st shots from this were just a wow thing.

X100s also has film sims for anyone wondering.

Even the original X100 that has a Cmos sensor has film simulations. From the X100s they mount X-Trans sensors and not a cmos as said in the video…

@@mk1photography62CMOS is the sensor type. The other (older) sensor type was CCD. The sensor size is APS-C. The X100 had an 12mp APS-C CMOS with a Bayer array. The X100s and X100t have a 16mp APS-C CMOS with X-Trans array. The X-trans array allowed Fujifilm to dispense with the anti-aliasing filter, in theory producing more detail and sharpness from the sensor.

    I just purchased an X100T.
I want an X100V but they aren’t available. If they are available there is a large premium to be paid. I saw an used V on Craigslist for $1800 and the listing was gone in less than eight hours. The F is also selling for a premium. Hello T.
As you suggested, if the camera took good images seven years ago, it continues to take good images now. Why would I want this camera? First there is the quality of the images. SOOC they are very good. One feature that many people appreciate about Wolff Fuji bodies are the film simulations. They really work! I am using the X 100 T as my EDC. Not as small as the Rico GR iii but I can easily put this into a jacket pocket. I appreciate having a flash. I appreciate the leaf shutter. It’s a very good all around camera.
Do I wish I had an X 100 V? Yes. I’m not gonna spend the premium for a three year old camera. My guess is Fuji is either going to start accessing sufficient amount of chips and solve there manufacturing problems or the X100VI will come your soon. It will have the new 40MP sensor and I hope IBIS. Until then the T will suffice.
This is truly a nifty camera.

It is definitely choice of pro. ^_^ Light and easy. Retro, feel solid on hands, sweetest spot of sensors megapixel image sizes, warm colors, not too digitally sharp, image produce has the film looks feel, and the list goes on...love it. The focus speed are fast and good enough for street/daily/family shoots (not for continuous shots on sports).

There is a solution in addition to Fuji's wide angle kit (more expensive): Nikon Wideangle Converter WC-E68's with a step down filter + fuji's lens adapter.

      Hey 👋
I currently also have a Fuji X10 and enjoy it a lot as an every day camera next to my professional gear.
But I would absolutely love to get a better quality Fuji for taking with me on travels, but also using it in day to day life.
How are you enjoying the X100T?
      Would really appreciate any feedback!
      All the best!

calling this a P&S camera is disrespectful.
Yes you can put it in Program mode and treat it as a P&S camera but so can EVERY digital camera, even the pro ones. I don't know Any P&S camera that has all the features, controls and quality of this camera.
I think the correct term you are looking for is Fixed Lens camera or Rangefinder Style camera. It operates exactly like the X-Pro cameras but without the ability to change lenses. and NOBODY ever called That camera a point and shoot.
