What a Natural Bear Grills...
LOL!!
When’s the wedding love to hear abiout the honeymoon😂. Loving the channel as my fave at the moment, konocking it out the park. It’s your chemistry too.As a master bbq failed in the outdoors I mastered it. But a plumbers high temp blow torch ( small) and just blast the coal for 1 min cook in any temp no kindling no waiting no accelerant. Abs game changer. Watched somebody do it and went that road
Hi Volt, we will have to figure out some wedding plans, mustnt let it get forgetton whilst we are constantly thinking about where to go next or what to eat next lol
Please Please subscribe to these great entertaining people they really do deserve a lot more subscribers ❤
Thank you Don, we would love that!
The meal looked top notch, I would have enjoyed that for sure.
Cheers bud, we have got right into this camping park and cooking outdoors
Rich your barber is a legend. You got a Cleannnn fade there mate
Thanks 😁
Best motorbike channel by a mile at the moment…loving it..and Lucky Saint is probably the alcohol free on the market…can get on draft as well…happy days 😊
Thanks Roy, Glad to have you with us
Keep the episodes coming. love watching your adventures. coming over in august from ireland
Amazing, which area are you touring?
Fantastic guys. Give Ewa fire and some basic tools…a nice meal will be had.
Always!
Very interesting, good job and all in uk🎉
Cheers John, what a nice day for it we had too 😊
Rich .." I'm a firestarter , firestarter " .. top bloke job 👍
Me man, me make fire! 🔥
🤣🤣🏕🔥🧯
@@nigelsride What could possibly go wrong?!
Brilliant stuff yet again, you guys. Recognised the first place you stopped at to try the various tents. We always liked to pop in there to check out the various shops and get a coffee when in Devon. All the best 👍🏻
It’s a great camping shop they are always so helpful there
Great video as always. Just a thought! Why don't you organise a bike camping weekend for novices and beginners? What a good laugh that would be? Im in when you're ready!! All the best 😊
We would love to do some stuff like that in the future
Nice vid n top notch scran 👍🤙🏻🤙🏻✊✊
Cheers Craig, not a bad effort hey... We really enjoyed this one cooking on good old fashion fire!
Back home and looking great! 👍 you really go all in! Me, bike, tent and nearest cafe 🤪🤷♂️
We don’t do things by half! We love it 😊
Grrr Ugg man make fire.👍🤪😎
What a guy eh!
top vid
Thank you bud
we make a oil season mix called "Paste" it is sea salt, olive oil, garlic & dices onion. all mixed up ( does not have to be cold ), we put it over meats, fish, & white rice.
That sounds great! We have Garlic oil here, but we may have to try this out
@@ontheroadadventure one cup of each, should be enough, for a month worth of camping.
Rich you hit the nail on the head re getting out for a pee, the headroom in your MSR is a real bonus for getting changed. I've got a few tents but like the vango galaxy 300 for bike use as its got a full height entrance, great if your kit is wet. It packs pretty small, too, and is easy to put across the back seat in a dry bag. Those pork pies looked delicious 😋 You guys are so lucky living in such a beautiful part of the world. The grill looks good, you can buy charcoal in bags that are made to be lit, which would make lighting it easier. Loved Ewa's confidence in your fire-lighting ability 😂. The crunch on the cheese on toast 😀 the food looked delicious, looking forward to more adventures
Thanks Michael, yes Devon and Cornwall are really nice on a good day if only the weather was better the uk would be an amazing place to be. I will look out for those charcoal bags, I’m going to make good use of this grill 👌
Take a look at the vango galaxy 300 tent awesome i use it camping with the wife and you can stand and cook in the front awning
We have seen that one is quite popular but the pack size is larger and heavier than the one we have
13:34 cotton wool or Tampax mate they work for fire lighters
tumble dryer fluff is a good one too
Love your channel. Have your subs increased in the last week now? Yup, the UK can be lovely for everything too. As long as it's not busy, noisy or jammed with traffic, again it'd be like anywhere else as long as there's sun and relaxation. That knife is a good un. You can use it to split the kindling into smaller pieces.
Keep em coming folks!
Hi, Yes Subs are increasing steadily all the time, The More we get, the more we can afford to do...
Hi,
Just watched your latest video next level camp cooking, and you made me feel guilty because I've been watching your previous videos, and I have forgotten to subscribe, but I have put that right now,.
You are a lovely couple, and I'm really glad that you're enjoying your moto camping experiences. And that meal that you cooked made me hungry, and I've just had my tea 😂😂, Yeah, you really do split your duties evenly, just like it should be 60/40 😂😂.
Anyway, have a great break in Devon and looking forward to seeing your next video
Pete
Thanks so much pete! yes we really do need those subscriber numbers, it helps drive the channel which keeps us able to travel and make new videos, so thank you so much. I think we are very good at sharing the work load, we both know the importance of team work i guess. Devon is lovely, we are very lucky to live here.... Easy to say when its not raining!
You guys are awesome every video a delight. But has Rich got his sleeping guilt the right way round this time
Oh yes, that is a lesson well learnt! Wont make that mistake again...
Great to see you back. I'm certain you would *love* The New Forest for camping and for the roads through the forest. Indeed I feel a trip to Lymington coming on next week....just to sit on the quayside and enjoy an ice cream...136 miles of pure enjoyment...each way.
We passed through recently but didnt have enough time to explore the area. theres a biker cafe there called 77 i think in lymington we havent found it yet but looks a good spot for a coffee
Just to point out that a large proportion of camp sites don't allow open fires even in a fire pit off of the ground. Wood fires are especially unpopular with other campers as they throw off sparks that can damage tents around you. Used as a charcaol grill is generally OK as long as it is off of the ground. However this use of a mesh as the fire bed could lead to finer hot ashes falling through onto the grass causing damage.
No objections at this site bud, We loved it here
I always cut patatoes in fourth. Speeds up the process.
You can’t do that to a jacket!! 😦
Great vid as usual.. now rant... Living in Devon is great \ frustrating due to the different councils attitude to motorbikes....cant park, park in the tiny corner space with the gritting bin (dartmouth),park half a mile from the town centre (exmouth), use that bus lane but not that bus lane(plymouth), the 6 bike parking space is now a one car space (teignmouth), park out of the way of the cars (wardens discretion )....and thats why I spend my holiday money in mainland Europe despite living by the seaside...love darts farmshop though. Fishnchips🏍️💨💨😸👍
Yeah like everywhere in the uk, council brains are not thinking about bikers at all but in fairness I can’t say I have a problem parking, maybe we have been lucky upto now.
Darts farm is awesome, we are always in here trying some fancy food!
Do you do a quick check to make sure there are no nearby killer trees...🤣
You would think so wouldnt you...
@@ontheroadadventure Bloody certain I would!
What are the chances of that happening twice...?
@@ontheroadadventure Having seen first hand the luck you guys get I wouldn't bet against *anything* happening!
Lol we never know whats going to happen next! Thats why we love adventure
First round the camp fire 🔥 🧯
Hi Eddie! What you think of our new Cooking grill and fire pit? We are in love with it
@@ontheroadadventure yes compact I've sore a ad with a five second tent ⛺ you peg it out tight, then just pull from the top ,like poting a plant😉the camp fire compact but looks un steady may be
Not sure those pop up tents are very good... The camp fire thing we had is on legs and its perfectly stable, we love how it doubles up from grill to fire pit
Great vids you both are very entertaining have subbed 👍🏻👍🏻
Welcome aboard! Glad you are with us
Oooh nice fire pit, and well done Rich for being a proper fire starter 💪💪 love to camp site, nice grub , you two never cease ro amaze me with how much fun you have. Great to have you back in the UK
Thanks Nigel, we found a nice site here and it was really quiet too which could have been different given the amount of caravans there.
We do like to have a good laugh and somehow the entertainment always seems to provide itself when we are together 🤣
The journey is as important as the destination. And that applies to food, too.
Excellent effort.
Curry is my camp cooking favourite.
Balti cooks really quickly, and the smells attract neighbours really quickly. Hint. Cook more than you need. You will be able to exchange some for beer.
Woks double as frying pans, too.
Soopa watch team.
Onwards. Ride safe 👍
Thanks bud, we have talked about making a nice curry, we will do it soon for sure 👌
Hi Rich n Eva.what a mega meal that spud looked amazing wi cheese. making me hungery.Well Done Guys 👍
Gotta be proper cheddar cheese on a jacket spud!
Collapsible camp table is the only thing missing. Very handy!
You guys are doing great! Seasoned moto campers now!!!!
Ohh we will have to look out for one of those…
You guys make everywhere look Spectacular
Devon is Beautiful when its sunny, we love the coastline here, you cant go wrong on which one you pick
I was getting withdrawal symptoms....🤣
Dont worry mate, we are here for you
@@ontheroadadventure phew....
The mains adapteryou forgot I had to make at the roadside from electrical parts shop as a mate forgot his due to using a hire generator
Fair play, we were not that clever on this occasion, luckily there were plugs in the bathroom we could use to charge our gadgets. We usually carry our Solar power bank which works a treat for camping
just love it ❤
Thanks bud, not a bad effort for some outdoor cooking...
Two content happy campers!
PS…. Would like to see how Rich maintains the bikes after such a long trip?
Do you mean for cleaning or as in servicing? Here’s some of my favourite products I use, and it smells awesome too! th-cam.com/video/1Qq0o9lT1jw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0KyGtpZXJrEm6rib
Well, servicing really? Do you do all the maintenance/ servicing in the bikes?
I do the small Services on My Bike, Ewas is still under warranty so she needs to pay to keep the warranty on hers, this is the reason i bought a older one as my previous new bike cost me a fortune in services i can do myself
Good to have just day away. Bonus if a camp site allows booking on the day or just turn up.
We were just turning up on our last tour and it never seems to be a problem, Might be different in peak times like school holidays though
I'd use two or three smaller potatoes instead of one huge one each for easier cooking
Not a bad plan...
@@ontheroadadventure It's cool that you finished the Iberia trip and next day's video is carrying on moto camping.
Oh yes we just cant sit still! we have grown to enjoy the camping more than we thought we would
You're turning into right campaholics !! Awesome and camping shops are addictive !!
Yes we sure are, it so much more affordable than going to stay in hotels so now we are able to go more often!
@ontheroadadventure not wrong there, 4 of us are going Germany to camp 8th July on the bikes, counting down the days now 🏍🏍🏍
Which bits of germany are you going to do? we have done black forest but not much else
@@ontheroadadventure we're staying not far from Detmold as that's where my brother was stationed in the Army, between Bielefeld & Hanover
We have been told to go to Bavaria allot
Brilliant as usual, loved it, would like to see you explaining your drone useage, things you need and which drone you use, thinking of buying one thanks NW biker dude alias bay Bimbler
The best advice is to buy a cheap one and learn how to use it, learn the regulations and rules etc and how to fly it before investing in the more costly ones and software etc. Definitely take out insurance on it
Great job guys. That fire pit looks just great. Cooking outside is just as much fun as the eating !
You got that right! Its such a nice experience, the perfect excuse to spend time outside and off of screens
Guys, I suggest you to cook baked potatoes the next time, that ones the yanks use to eat. It's great. Cut the potato in half but don't split it. Put cheddar cheese and sour cream inside and bake.
THat sounds Good!! We will try it that way, Cheers
Carry on camping guys ✊. Suggestion to try lump wood charcoal in a bag, just light the bag & off it goes,3 bags for £6 , 1 bag per grill.i like that fire maple thingy, but I have something very similar, them skewers look banging, I think you’ve got to grips with camping lark . Opps before I forget take a look at pitch as one tents, that means the inner tent stays connected to the outer & they are far easier to pitch up,I’ll never go back to inner & outer, too much hassle.all the best guys 👏🏴✊KTF.
I will look for those bags, Sounds more sensible than what we had. MSR do a tent like that as all in one, we are considering it too but its not cheap and not much smaller than what we have so cant really justify it. Maybe like bikes, the best one is the one you have...
That was quare pack’n on them plates and looked delicious Guys.
I honestly think you’ll regret down sizing the tent if you do as you’ve got used to having that space.
I really thought Rich is not going to get the fire going!! Hahaha
Ye of little faith!
Love a fire pit too makes all the difference. Only thing is you will stink of wood smoke . We will definitely be buying one of those ❤
We found that the first fire pit we did but we used logs, the kinderling dried stuff didn’t smoke so was much better than before, was so cost we sat there for ages until we had burnt it all!
Having lived for years in Leicester, smelling of wood smoke would be a vast improvement on the smell of most of the locals...
Can’t say I’ve ever had reason to go to Leicester
Hi come tour South Africa especially the Western Cape area, you won't be sorry❤
We would like to do a tour of Africa in the future...
Omg we never thought those bloody great spuds would cook! But you nailed it 🔥
We were worried aswell! They were great though 👌
Loved the barbecue stove where can I buy one
Have a look in the Description of the video you will see a link to the Fremaple products website, THis one is called the Ultralite sunset grill. Dont forget to use discount code ontheraod10
What’s the name of that camping shop Guys!, As a direct result of your videos I have bought myself a gas Trangia 25, And I Find the Vango Beta 450 a fantastic tent!, Pitches in one !, And has a good living space as Well as a sleeping space!.👍🏴
Trangia is a great all rounder, the shop is Called Cotswolds at Topsham Farm shop, go in the farm shop too, its amazing in there, loads of good stuff!
Careful with the fire in the tent.carbon monoxide
Yeah i dont think it would work too well inside the tent!
You guys need to do Croatia, Bosnia. The scenery is beautiful and Chris from 44 Teeth rated Bosnia one of the best on his Baron Von Grumble channel
We would like to go to Croatia, we are hearing good things...
That Grill/fire pit looks the job 👌 i know you'll probably show us in the next video, but did it leave much of a scorch mark on the grass . Ye are very quickly becoming my favourite channel as always great content 👍
It’s great we loved it, no we were surprised that it burnt everything to dust, there were a small amount of ashes in the grass that blew away with the wind but the fire doesn’t touch the ground of course so doesn’t scorch it
You`re becoming masters of your art - only problem is now I`ve watched it I`m hungry! Be careful with the knife as all lock knives are illegal in the UK. Keep up the good work and look forward to more of the same.
Cheers Gavin, We were made hungry watching this back tonight, Those Kebabs were Amazing!! We are in love with this Fire Grill
I think the knife is ok in a cooking set, it would be illegal to carry in your pocket in public.
@@girlinagaleyup, opinel knives are supposed to be good and have a lot of history behind them too. As long as it's in with your cooking stuff it should be fine along with your plastics Rich! 😉
Yes i dont think youd have any problem with this in the kitchen camping stuff in your bag.
I want one!
We dont Blame you! Links and discount code is in the Description for you
If u and Eva is available it would be be nice to see you at axmouth harbour on a Thursday evening in Seaton Devon mostly burgers and fries 5-7 if you’re interested

Hi Paul, thanks we have not attended this bike night yet, wasn’t aware of it. 👍
@@ontheroadadventure just started this year about 50- 60 bikes weather permitting
Excellent, well done guys - We need lots of biker events to keep us all entertained
Always love your videos. You're a great couple and you make it all look fun. I might try camping one day but I'm not doing it for a month. 😂
We dont blame you, start off with a nice weekend down the coast somewhere, its more addictive than you would think!
@@ontheroadadventure I have to run in the new bike soon. I may ride down to Cornwall for a night to get the 600 miles out the way.
Makes a nice run, Go down the coast one side of Devon and cornwall and come back up the other side
How about the west coast of Ireland tour sometime ? Really enjoyed following you guys this past month and you made it back just in time for the warm weather 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, the warm weather was short lived wasnt it lol. We did do a tour in Wales and Ireland you can find it here... : th-cam.com/video/ZYvNWohggNk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PzJ-Au5Y7ZdWLWaS
Gotta have a tent you can stand in, Rich…it’s a ball ache to get dressed and undressed whilst sitting or lying down! I’d rather take a slightly bigger tent, with the bigger packing size than a low tent. I use a 5-man tent after years of 1, 2, and 3 person tents…size counts! 😂💪
We are constantly stuck in this dillema, We feel like we have far to much stuff, but struggle to down size on anything more now that we are carrying
You will regret getting anything smaller than at least one size more than the people using it. Just boots and helmets take up space. Nothing worse especially if it's wet than jamming into a tight tent, touching the side will wick in water.
Yeah we like the Elixr 4 which is the same 2.5m squared foot print we have just a lower height which would save pack size
Wait. You’re driving on the left. I’m so confused 😂
Oh yes, we do that here lol
5:52 was that a puffin ,thought they were extinct
That wasnt a puffin, not sure what it was. Puffins are not extinct though for sure

Flap Jacks Rock!
Just my opinion I would rather bike camp uk than Spain
Ewa Loves the UK, I like to go to places ive not discovered yet, but we do get a good mix in between us... Out of curiosity, why do you prefer camping in the uk?
What a difference a gallon of beard oil makes 🙃
Naturally
You need a motorcycle trailer. Can take a toilet or a fridge etc. Cant send our old picture. Different bike now but could give you an idea and you dont notice it.
Dont give us idea's lol Last thing we need is to take more stuff!
@@ontheroadadventure What a fabulous idea.....especially if you were going to base yourself in one place for a few days or more...
Darts Farm. Try go outdoors. We need to meet up one day and talk tents.
Hi Peter, we have looked around Go outdoors, we cant find anything that fits our needs better than MSR, We would like the same version of what we have now but lower to save pack size, that one is called Elixr 4. What do you use?
I have always been of an opinion that that all gear should be hidden away. Therefore as we both travel on the same bike. ST1300. We have a pannier each and the topbox holds the camping gear which includes tent, sleeping bag and camera. Sometimes for long trips we have to use a tank bag from sleeping mats and cooking. We have travelled for as long as nearly 2 months like this.
Regarding tents. The Omega 350 3 Person Tent was definitely one of my favourites. When travelling alone the coleman phad x3 was another favourite and probably still is because of its ease of putting up. The lone Rider ADV Tent - Adventure Motorcycle Tent is my latest tent as I got sucked in by TH-cam. I still don’t love it. But all those tents fit in the top box. “Including Poles”
How much coals can u put on 😀
We used half a bag, but use what you need 👍
