    I found your videos towards the beginning of the school year. My 3rd graders love that they can learn a new language and also practice it when they have to be quiet. It has been a wonderful blessing just in my own classroom. Thank you for your work!!!

    Thank you for teaching ASL. I have a cousin and a few friends who are deaf. Being able to communicate with them and make friends in the deaf community really means a lot ❤

    I started off wanting to know a few sign language sentences to help communicate to the deaf at my retail job and now I just want to know more. Your videos are very helpful. When you describe as you do the sign it makes it easier for me.

    You’re a wonderful teacher. I dont have deaf friends but I wanna learn sign language to teach English to students, using TPR. Sign language is a fun way to do that

    This is so valuable to me! Thank you! If you have had a neighbor or friend , loved one, ever, or known someone that is deaf, you know the yearning for communication. Everyone can benefit by learning this. I think kids could learn it in school and it would help with communication skills in ineffable ways.

    Friend in ASL means battling / bad friend in Japanese sign language.
    Very interesting, isn't it?
    Probably because Samurais used to battle with enemies with Katana swords.

    Kudos to this channel and the creators!!! I am so thankful for this channel and the content being created. Since I started learning ASL I've even started showing my students what I'm learning as well.
    P. S. I noticed at 1:43 the text showing the word being signed is not correct - it reads "replace this text" when it should read "grandfather".

    when i was younger, i used to not be able to talk, so i had to use sign language. luckily, ive gained the ability to and i conversate normally. its been a long time since then, so i’ve forgotten how to sign, i guess i want to re-learn, for myself and those around ,e.

    When my mom and I have to talk to each other quietly, or in separate rooms and we can't hear each other, we use signs like more, out, all done, please, sorry, wait, bathroom and more :D it really helps

    How useful this can be in a situation where it’s too loud to talk or you can’t talk. I’ve heard of navy SEALS using signs to communicate

    I'm so sad. when I saw divorce as a sign here, I thought there would be other family status's here. it's not your fault, we're very under represented and I think a lot of people forget adopted, foster and chosen families exist :(

    Hello!! Does it depend which hand you are using in sign language?

      I dont think it matter because people have different dominant hands. I think in more complicated signs you will have to use a specific hand. p.s My name is also willow :)
