Really tight on space use it in vertical orientation by rotating the legs 90 degrees. Has holes for normal (top left io) or inverted orientations. One of mine is inverted to see gpu fans easily
I see a lot of possibilities to use something like this to make a wall mounted PC or like an inside the desk PC. instead of trying to fabricate all of that stuff yourself you just get one of these super clean test benches, secure it how you want to and build away to do some super awesome custom stuff! not sure if it's a thing or not, but it would be awesome if they offered them anodized in different colors!
I have used this for several years and the only real problem is dismantling and re-assembling all the parts to once again make it a flat pack. Bit tricky, like an advanced lego and not at all obvious the first time you use it. However, well engineered and when you are finished you can put it back in its box and store on a shelf for your next build.

This would have been awesome two weeks ago. I built my nephew a PC for Christmas, two weeks later it stopped outputting video. We, in the last 6 months, moved about 6 hours away, so couldn't quickly stop in and troubleshoot. I suspected the motherboard was the issue but to be sure I took my "stream" PC on a 6 hour road trip, so I could troubleshoot and replace parts as needed. Connected his GPU to my stream PC. Working. My GPU in his. Nope. decided to just replace the motherboard, gave him my old board I just took out of my gaming PC when upgrading and everything booted up right up. Traveling with something like this would have been less stressful than taking my built O11 Mini. :) I did pull my GPU out of an abundance of caution but I would happily put everything back into their boxes to transport and troubleshoot :).
Jay: long time fan here. I wanted to reach out to request that you avoid “click baiting” your titles and provide titles that reflect some sort of hint as to what one will encounter inside a video. “This is he of the most impressive…”, “I was wrong”, etc., are just clickbait intended for us to have to see the video in order to find out what it may be about, only to find out later it may have been about something I was not interested in at all. You are a super power in the streaming industry, I don’t think you guys need these type of marketing gimmicks. Please, let us know at least a hint of what may be inside a video, and we still probably would watch 90% of your videos. Don’t just try to “lure” us with cryptic names to force viewership commitment. Big thanks for all the info you put out there!

OBT test bench one of the best in the market. I use it as desktop setup.
That is a really awesome piece of kit! I still use the motherboard box to bench test systems. 🤣
At least my motherboard box didn't cost $200?
Awesome Jay. I honestly cant think of anyone id trust more to review a test bench. Very vintage J2C. Which is a high compliment.
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LIKE THESE!!!!!!!!! I Just might have to get one! LOVE the fact on how all the screws and everything have their own place/spot!
Holy crap! That's the test bench we use at work! We have a red one and a silver one.
Seriously cool! Love it, the engineering and though behind the design/build is phenomenal!
This is the best looking bench I've seen yet.
The XOC benching community / HWBot guys collabed with Streacom silent pc cases to make this happen. Went through a lot of testing and tweaking to "perfect". This v2 is nearly perfect for me and is all I use, have 3 myself
Very nice design, simple but effective. Super quick to deploy, and easy to store genius!
Very simple assembly and very handy, easy manage test bench, great video!!
I wonder why Jay is so hyped about that bench table. Those "cases" already exist for lots of years. But it's nice to see him that happy :)
Yeah no shit huh In 2015ish The XOC benching community / HWBot guys collabed with Streacom silent pc cases to make this happen. Went through a lot of testing and tweaking to "perfect". This v2 is nearly perfect for me and is all I use, have 3 myself been using them since 2016
I own one for my PC build/maintenance lab in my house. Will never go back to anything else. Bought mine about a year ago.
Jay bought the new OBT version 2.0 which has new holes for vertical mounting of the bench without any additional tools needed. I have a previous OBT design that does not have this option and I hope that Jay will try this mounting alternative.
One of mine is setup for inverted vertical but you can also wall mount these v2's
Man, I love that bench. Hmm, ideas are blooming. Great vid, thanks.
Awesome looking bench. With the right matching components and cable management, it'd make a cool looking non test bench system.
"anyway moving on" could turn into a drinking game.
I love how he keeps explaining what a test bench is, basically.
When he can speak.
Still, better than laying it on the static bag. I've seen you do it.
Those are absolutely amazing. Pricey for my use case, but beautiful craftsmanship and ingenuity none the less. Very, Very Cool.
This looks like it would make a nice open chassis-style computer build for a desk with limited space for a computer, you just need to make sure to keep it clean.
This is a really neat design. Thanks for doing the review of this!
I have a red BC1v1 with matching red ballistix. Beautiful match. 280 and 360 rads on.
I don't use a case, all I have is these.
You can also install water pump at the button. It looks with a complete water cooler build on this obt
I have used this for several years and the only real problem is dismantling and re-assembling all the parts to once again make it a flat pack. Bit tricky, like an advanced lego and not at all obvious the first time you use it. However, well engineered and when you are finished you can put it back in its box and store on a shelf for your next build.
I just bought the bc1 v2 titanium. I cannot recommend this product more. It’s super well built, was a breeze to put together and looks sick imo. 👍🏼 (Ryzen 7800x3d, rtx 3080x, 32g 6000 ram, nh-d15 chromax)
I saw somewhere a side mount accessories cable Power Supply. That would be a huge improvement to this build.
Those open test benches are fantastic. I have one of the itx ones mad have had a lot of fun mounting watercolling stuff to it
I have 1, I love mine! best test bench ever used!!
I got this and used it for my main computer for quite a while. LOVED IT!!! Then I got a 4090. Holy coil whine batman... Had to go back to a normal case. And that was after I sent back an MSI 4090 and got another one with *much* lower coil whine.
Little SIDE thought. The Corsair Shift PSUs seem like they would be great for this. Easier access to the plugs cause they would be on the side.
Those test benches are amazing, can't wait to try one.
You could get some of those rubber furniture pads and put them under the psu to keep it off the table. That would help prevent scratching of the psu and/or table
Nice, impressive engineering process to making these and portable and compact.
That click and relase of the motherboard was terrific. Nice product
Cool test benches. Glad to see actual motherboards fitted. Now please do the same with the pc cases "preview/overview/reviews": fit boards, GPUs and rad even it's a mock fit
Can’t wait to use this on an office PC
