Look this is how they get people in court. They claim you as a defendant and State your guilt as a fact in the courtroom and anything you do or say to prove yourself innocent now looks like you are lying and just trying to get out of trouble because whether you're innocent or or not you still would be trying to get out of trouble and they play a little game and give you a false hope of getting out of trouble and now what are you going to do you going to stand up for yourself and in the meantime you're just digging a hole and making yourself look like you are digging a hole and of course that's how it works and second before the trial starts they decide what evidence is admissible to court on what grounds and they are implicably biased towards the defendant not presenting evidence also you can't prove anything from a jail cell or a hole and block in the back of the courtroom underneath the courthouse when you're in a cell and you're not even allowed to have a pen and paper and then when you get in the courtroom they put a pen and paper in front of you and you can't use it cuz you're in the middle of a court proceeding involving yourself that you need to pay attention to and not for nothing it happens because of police like to tell lies and they think it's a joke because they get paid weather or not they put people in jail or not or also if they are even criminals at all makes no difference because the process is the same for everybody they book you and transport you to a prison facility and they will have you under duress and under the complete control at the threat of violence not to mention incarceration is a form of violence within itself.. now try

A 911 operator (at least in America) is an awful audience to fake an emergency and panicked call to. The deadpan tone of the operators is deadly for a fake call. The fake panic just becomes harder and harder to engage in and starts to appear stupid and ridiculous. Genuine panic on a 911 call just interacts with the calm/deadpan of the operator in a totally different and appropriate way. Hupp may have realized during the call how stupid she sounded but it was too late to abandon her weak deception, she had to try and force credibility by sticking to her script.

Unethical, corrupt, _and_ totally incompetent, is an apt description of the police force’s handling of Betsy’s case. That’s what happens when the investigating officers are cognitively challenged and morally bankrupt. The amount of compensation Russ received was entirely inadequate, and it’s time that those responsible for scapegoating him are delivered the justice they truly deserve. We know that people like Pamela exist, so we require detectives that are fit to uncover those like her, and not be foolishly manipulated by them. She was not clever and her crimes were not sophisticated, but she played the simpletons tasked with solving these crimes like a virtuoso.

Right, seems like investigators can only solve & crack the cases with an obvious suspect instead of the manipulative unsuspected suspect which put on a facade to cover her true identity. I mean come on, she had $650k waiting on her from just Betsy’s & Shirley’s life insurance (which she changed just 5 days before Betsy’s murder) on top of that fact she was at Betsy’s house for 30 minutes after she ‘dropped her off’, what else do you need??? Just because she said “I didn’t do it” that just means they don’t need to investigate further? Unbelievable lol if this case was in Florida 100% guaranteed she would’ve been convicted the same month the case was open.

There is so much evil in that womans heart. One of the things that really pissed me off about this case is that the prosecutors managed to convince a jury that all his friends were in on it and they were creating an alibi for him..........Like how does a prosecutor do that?!?!?!. That prosecutor must have been the best lawyer in the world or Russ's defence attorney must have been the most useless lawyer in the world. It's baffling to me that so much evidence of Russ's innocence was right there in their faces and they still charged him. The craziest thing of all the evidence, to me, is that the victims sock was used to smear blood all over the house and put back on her foot, and they didn't seem to think that was at all strange. She wanted to make it look like more of a blood bath, when it already was, and looking at the photo shown in the video, the blood was obviously smeared all over in an unnatural way. Her body wasn't dragged to leave those smears, so clearly someone smeared it themselves for a reason. And the victim was wearing one bloody sock. How was this detail alone not enough to make them question the entire case?
The jury really screwed up only awarding Russ $2 million. That's not justice for what he was put through. But I'm glad to hear there's finally an investigation into the investigation...(an investigation into an investigation.... that shouldn't be a sentence that exists).

The only reason she got away with killing two people prior is simply poor Police investigation work & shady prosecutors.

Sad but I wouldnt necessarly say it was poor police work.I do agree the police should have grilled the four witness's likely better than they did. The jury bought it as it could have been true,Focus on the evil Pam and its all her money that should be paid to the various estates and she should have been executed immediately after the trial by hanging or worse.thanks

Yes, law enforcement wouldn’t even investigate Pam’s alibi when she was the last person to be with Betsy. It’s sickening.

What scares me more than any crime or murder case, is someone being wrongly convicted for a murder they didn't commit. I've seen to many of these videos of the "husband" being arrested, thrown in jail, and their lives ruined bc of lazy police work and a PO with a hard on.

It’s sickening. Just from his 911 call ALONE. That was genuine grief, horror, & shock at what he had found. I’ve heard some AWFUL fake 911 calls from ppl who ended up being guilty. This guy was done SO wrong. The “justice system” is a frickin joke.

I Honestly Feel like Her Husband should of sued for being wrongly convicted. All the evidence didn’t point to him nor was he even in the area when it happened. Poor Man.
