Why is it so satisfying to watch possums eat stuff? This must be 100th possum video I've clicked on in the past few months. Stella sure is cute though.
It’s their ability to use their hands to maneuver the food into an optimal place in their mouth for chewing. This is paired with a complete inability to understand decorum which leads to them noisily chomping on the food. But you’ll notice she isn’t a sloppy eater: tilting her head back slightly to make sure she doesn’t waste a drop of grape juice. No. Just loud and gross, yet still efficient.
Cause they’re so freaking cute! Ha. I literally just got back from the store with green grapes for my possum, Mars, who has that exact same food bowl as the one in this video. And I normally always get red or black grapes but they only had green grapes this time. Then I happened to see this video. Synchronicities!
I love how Stella smacks her pink lips,her lips,her nose,her tongue, and her flower bouquet feet all look like pink cotton candy and pink bubblegum..she's soooooo happy and adorable!!!
So I was laying in my bed sobbing my eyes out because I'm horribly depressed!! But now that I watched this video I think things will be ok one day :^) thank you for uploading this cute video of Stella!! She's so cute!!!!
I always leave food and fresh water on my back porch for the neighborhood cats. The first time I looked out and saw an opossum eating the cats' food, my first reaction was to get pissed. But then as I watched him eat, I saw that he REALLY looked like he was enjoying the meal. Now, I looked forward to them coming by every night.😊
I'm actually surprised (and relieved) that no one has watched these cuties smacking when they eat like this and then given them peanut butter. It wouldn't end up as a video it would end up as a miniseries.
These grapes are better than the old lays potatoes commercial " betcha can't eat just one!!! Remember that commercial from years ago? It's true though the opossum agrees!!! Lol

What foods can pet possums eat on a daily basis?
Just about anything. Fruit and veg, large crickets, mealworms and cooked chicken liver. Just no raw meat, bread or dairy.
