In this video I present you the first part of my Dacia 1310 revival project.
I started the car after 6 years of sitting in our yard.
This is a 2000 Dacia 1310 w/ a 1.6L gasoline engine/electronic injection system.
A couple years ago the car stopped working and because of that, dad lost interest in it, didn't take it anywhere to fix it. Long story short, the car ended up in our back yard, slowly rusting away.
In 2020 I wanted to take it to a shop and fix it, but eventually I changed my mind. It was expensive and unrealistic given the circumstances.
But one year later, in 2021, I got so motivated to fix it myself that I tried doing everything I could to make it run again.
And to tell you the truth, I am so glad I did it.
I thank those who helped/were by my side from the very beggining.
I sure have great memories with this car.
It's got something nostalgic to me.
Thank you.

Am văzut că motorul este 106-11 și am căutat informații despre el. Știam că dacă ar fi fost 1.4, ar fi fost 102-XX, așadar, fiind 106-XX, era clar că e 1.6, după care, am vrut să știu de la ce vine ,,11". Se pare că motoarele 106-11 sunt 1.6 cu raport de compresie mare. Motoarele 1.6 injecție cu raport de compresie mare sunt foarte rare astăzi pentru că s-au pus, probabil, doar pe 1310 și Nova, ele fiind mai rare decât Daciile Papuc (cu raport de compresie mic). De asemenea, pe seria motorului scrie ,,619", asta arătând de fapt cât de rare sunt. Felicitări și să aveți grijă de ea!

Nici nu stiam ca s-a pus motor de 1.6 pe cn4 berlina, daramite ca ar fi fost mai puternic ca de pe papuc. Ar trebui sa traga destul de bine. Pe papuc parca faceau 72 de cai. Cati avea berlina de 1.6?
@@PaulHojda Nu avea neapărat mai mulți cai. Raportul de compresie mai mare o făcea mai rapidă și mai sprintenă. La Papuc, raportul de compresie mai mic îl făcea să aibă mai mult cuplu, să tragă mai bine după el.

@@gabrielv.4358 Well, it isn't exactly the same as the one in Brazil, as our 1.6 liter engine had 1557cc, while yours was 1565cc. Nevertheless, both were Cleon Fonte engines, meaning the parts that had nothing to do with the displacement are interchangable.

Salut îmi poți spune te rog cum ai făcut să meargă pompa de benzina.Ce releu ai schimbat și unde se află la fel am și eu o Dacie numai că stă de 8 ani acolo
Motorul invârte dar nu merge pompa de benzina și am schimbat-o e nouă dar degeaba

It was a license Renault 12. Start built in August 1969. Ending production 2006.
@@mirceapopa9947 Thank you for that! I had forgotten which Renault model it was. Used to see it in car publications in the 90s and couldn't believe it was still being built, like the Ford Falcon and Fiat 128
