      😁 Our GTS's are mega 👌was happy with the results but surprised how quick the on road performance times are for these dyno nunbers.

    You need blower on intercoolers and power will be bigger than stock

    • @performance_engineering
      @performance_engineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Vytas. We did have 2 powerful fans feeding each intercooler as well as the big fan feeding the main air feed on top 😁👍

      @@performance_engineering I'm wondering if the "low" power figure has something to do with how the RPM are measured. The shop I use have a sensor for measuring RPM rather than just syncing it on the computer. Sometimes tachs are a bit off.
      Also, we picked up 7 bhp by pointing a blower at the intake rather than trying to let the front fans feed it. We got 452 Bhp using ECE correction.
      We also found that the car was quite sensitive to driveline temps. Unless it was properly up to temp, it had quite the loss. After temps had stabilized, it had a consistent loss of 11%, which is close to what you have there as well. We ended up making 402 bhp to the wheels with tyre pressures set at the performance driving pressure of 2.3 bar front and 3.0 bar rear.

      @@AB-80X @AB-80X Hi. Thanks for your reply, the rpm signal is got from the ecu signal from the data logging so it's very accurate but even if I use the dials rpm it doesnt vary by much on my dyno. I personally wouldn't class the bhp figure as low, it's near enough bang on OEM figures, but I did expect a little more
      The intake feed could be improved if they were more direct but the front fan does offer surprisingly good cooling and temps are always stable during testing. Did alter the fans slightly but ended up losing a couple of bhp.
      I have seen a lot of dyno figures for these, some producing a lot more bhp but with a lower whp figure as they have unrealistic trans losses, dynos do vary quite a lot

    Is that an aftermarket rear spoiler?

    • @performance_engineering
      @performance_engineering  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is the OEM sports design spoiler, quite a rare option in the GTS

    will it do a standing burnout in dyno mode?

    • @performance_engineering
      @performance_engineering  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In theory it should do given everything is disabled but never tried lol

    • @AB-80X
      @AB-80X 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. It will not let you depress the brake pedal and spin the rear wheels. It will however do a massive actual burnout.

    which year was this .2 gts built?

      @@performance_engineering yes i know but do you know when exactly this car was built? because all the cars from september 2018 have an extra filter in the exhaust and i wanna know if this car sounds like this with the additional filter or if it’s still a car without this filter

    • @performance_engineering

      @@valle1079 this is a July build but I believe the 19 plate GTS will sound very similar even with the GPFs

      @@valle1079 That's incorrect info. Not a single 991.2 GTS got an OPF. Mine is a 2019 and it has the exact same exhaust as the earlier models. Look up the part numbers, there are no part numbers for a 991.2 exhaust with OPF.
