    OG VIDEO: • AC/DC - Back In Black ...
    ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?
Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot.

    Have a great day!!

I always wondered how AC/DC crossed so many music trends. I had friends in the 80's that hated rock but still liked AC/DC, friends in the 90's that only liked country music but still liked AC/DC, friends in the 20's that still go see the local AC/DC tribute bands. On my birthday party in the 80's my parents bought me the Back in Black album and I was hooked.

AC/DC... I've loved this song... I've loved this whole album, "Back in Black" since I got it (my first "adult" album lol) way back in 1980.
What can I say about AC/DC ? Angus Young obviously made a deal with the devil to absolutely master his guitar and even though they are a bunch of lads who like a little drink and like a little fight and like a little rock and roll, they are absolute Rock and Roll masters !
I mean Brian Johnson has a voice like a two-stroke chainsaw but it just freaking WORKS with the music. Just like no one can say that Bon Scott had a fantastic voice, but it just freaking WORKED with the music !

I would put him up against anyone you want to throw out there. I've never heard a voice like his. It's both shrill and gravely at the same time. This was Brian's voice and lyrics at their absolute best - annunciation is most clear - later albums don't have the consistency this album did all around (reasons/theories aside).
I began listening to AC/DC in 1978 as a 10 yo. Bon Scott was king and when he died (1980) following the release and tour of Highway to Hell (1979), it was inconceivable that anyone could take his place. Back in Black was nearly unbelievable and the new band formation's best effort. Sadly AC/DC would never top their freshman showing.
However, Bon Scott's album's were repeatedly gutsy and brilliant with H2H being the crowning jewel.
Please, Darling Rebecca, give Bon's singing a listen: Highway to Hell; Let There Be Rock; Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap; High Voltage, etc.
Quick note: only Bon Scott, brothers Malcolm and Angus Young were born and raised their early years in Scotland before emigrating to Australia. All other band members are either English, with Phil Rudd being the sole Australian.
