Been using it for the past week. Very hard to find Apple Pay restaurants so using the physical card. People love it, they say wow nice card, no numbers? Very cool. I wish apple would give 2% on everything and 5% on Apple purchases.
I think they should at least give you 2% on the physical card, 3% on the merchants they currently give you 3% for, and 5% on Apple purchases.
Another thing I like is that it also has zero foreign transaction fees so while you’re out of the country you don’t have to worry about that.

Easier way I found out to change your default card (much easier). Open the wallet app. Drag down which card you want your default ... and that’s it.

I did and got one. I like it very much but wish I could setup bill pay through my bank to pay it instead of having to use the app to pay it each month. It's great how it gives you all your info you need and you don't have to search for things on a web page like my other credit cards.

How do you switch your Apple Music subscription payment to the Apple Card?
So how do I reset what my supbscrtiptions are charging to so I can make the default Apple Card?
I have had the card since it first came out and never received a physical card or the numbers in case I want to purchase where the card is not available.
Cannot pay my balance off early. "Confirm now with assistive touch" appears at the bottom of the window. I double press the right-side button, nothing happens. The current bank account is listed. explored all assistive touch options in settings.
I tried to use it at dentist, tried to swipe it, but it didn't work. any hints on swiping?
I'm trying to find out if i can use alternate name/address when purchasing goods? for example, something i want to purchase online only allows one item per customer. i'm trying to get 2. can i put in a fake name and my parents address?

how about you’re in other country that apple pay doesn’t work, and you need to pay your debt on apple card, is there any other way of paying your apple card without using apple wallet?
I assume an Apple card holder must activate the facial recognition feature?
I've thought about applying for one....but I don't know if I should close out 2 of my other cards before doing so. I have 3 cards, 1 I use for everything and the other 2 are just setting there with no balance. I'll have to research what will happen to my credit score if I close them out.
Shane Moore don’t close them, if they are cards you’ve had for awhile it will reduce the age of your credit history lowering your credit score. It will also reduce your credit availability which could make your credit utilization jump up and that would also lower your credit score. It’s best if you just leave them open and if you have no use for them just shred them. They will close out automatically after a couple years of non usage
Don’t ever close cards let them sit there with that zero balance and just buy some gas once every 6 months or some thing small and pay it right off to keep them active ...... DONT EVER CLOSE CARDS
Every other card I have allows me to download cleared transactions into Quicken. Apple Card doesn’t have a feature that supports this. I wish they would add this.

Believe they are billed through the card you have on file with iTunes and the App Store. Change that, and you’re good.
Is it possible having a virtual only Apple Card & not the physical card?
Yes, they ask if you want it mailed to you. You can decline the physical card but it’s very nice since it’s metal like an Amex or sapphire from chase.
So basically, i cant get 2% only 1% if i use the physical card rather than my phone for apple pay is that correct?

The card is super cool but I’ve yet to activate the physical card! I only have the card active with Apple Pay in my wallet.
When I try to activate the physical card the error message states, “Apple Pay services are currently unavailable. Please try again later.” I spoke with 7 folks in business chat yesterday including 2 reps from Goldman Sachs.... 😑😑😑

Have you tried adding your apple card by using the apple watch app in your iPhone? That's what I did.

Been using one for over a week now and the Apple Card is super convenient as well as just a generally nice credit card. Definitely recommend it if you are looking to build credit but also make sure to be smart with it. Don’t just get it to have it and ruin yourself financially for life as I know that there are plenty of people who will be doing so just because it has an Apple logo.
So what’s the best way to use the card ? Apple store? Physical card ?

I doubt that. I'm an Android user and I didn't dislike this video. I would never get this credit card even if I had an iPhone. There are far better cards out there with better rewards. I only stick with AMEX and Chase.
CastrejonHDTV the card is definitely not the best but its not bad at all if you know anything about credit cards.. Theres not many with no foreign transaction fees but I guess you knew that too. How about cash advance fee which every card has it but not Apple. This has the best tracker as well and if your like me you have about 10 credit cards and only use them where you will be rewarded.. Citi double cash is the only better one I seen that makes a difference and is part of my collection.. Either way to each is own but they’re way worse credit cards and Im sure you have 1 in your wallet to not like something you haven’t done much research on.. Also why be subscribed to Apple Insider if you’re an Android user. I bet you’re on the fence and just need to know whats new that way you so called had a reason to switch.. Im already getting rewards and it took literally 1 min to get and start using for the applepay.. Also please find me a card with no fees literally no fees around the world! Lmao oh thats right there isn’t any unless they make money somehow. Learn to use your credit before commenting. This is literally what I do for a living but thanks for the comment..

@@miguelv320 You're talking to a credit expert dude. I know all about credit cards. Also, I'm not subscribed to this channel nor will I ever get an iPhone. If Android came up with a credit card, I wouldn't get it either. I don't have any bad cards in my wallet anymore after closing some useless cards like the Macy's card. I have both freedom cards from Chase, AMEX gold and those work well for me in my normal spending. I also got the Venture card and got the 50k sign up bonus but I'll later downgrade to a no annual fee. I carry no balances and pay zero interest. So I definitely know and understand credit cards and I know everything in my credit report from all 3 bureaus.

Lol there is way easier way to make the 🍎 Card default. Open wallet app select your Apple card, click the 3 dots on the top right. Scroll down. You can also lock your card from there, look up your card number etc

How do I change it? Somehow I can’t find it. I see the subscription, but not sure how to switch it. It comes out on the 28th of the month, maybe I’ll just wait until then and see what happens.
On the "Account Settings" page, before you tap "Subscriptions", above that, there is a link for "Manage Payments'. Add your Apple Card, and click Edit to move it to the top of the list. The top card is the one charged for all recurring subscription payments.
In your wallet just drag down the apple card to make it your default and it automatically switches the subscriptions that are with apple.
I got mine last Friday and am expecting the physical card to arrive tomorrow!! I was approved for $3,000, so I’m super excited but also scared?

stev6963 just remember. Don’t spend over what you can afford. If you can’t afford to pay of off right away, then don’t get it. I’d use it for buying gas or basic food. If you have cash, then once you use your Apple Card, then pay the bill right away! It will raise your credit since you’d be paying it early then what the payment date is posted for. This way you won’t get in trouble with credit debt.
fear707 I know, but it’s still more than most people are able to get. I’d say 2/5 of the population doesn’t have good enough credit to get even a $500 credit card. I just don’t ever want to come off as I’m bragging or something.
Jacob Matanic Yes that’s what I’ve always heard, if you can’t pay off the amount that you’ve spent on the credit card in a week then you probably shouldn’t have a credit card. I think I’ll be good, I don’t want to be like so many people I’ve met who have had crippling credit card debt and it’s always terrified me enough to pay my balance off.
@@stev6963 Treat it like a debit card. Always pay your bill in full every month. Also, keep your utilization under 30% so it doesn't hurt your credit score. For you, that would mean staying under $900.

Plant Maven it only moved 4 points from what I saw and it restores in 6 months or less. I do understand though I’m the same way lol. Well if you have no hard inquiries or balance it shouldn’t take much of a hit and will be back before you know it.. Granted there is better cards but I’m using this for the apple pay and apple products only.. I know you didn’t ask just figured I let you know what happened to me..
They did a hard credit check when I applied and then proceeded to decline me with no explanation. Lost 15 points which is no BS and it wasn’t like I needed the card. Ugh

No foreign transaction fees or cash advance so if I leave the US I can use it anywhere and no fees... No worries this will be available in other parts of the world soon. They are doing an trial and error over here first. Everyone should be happy we are the guinea pigs lol.. Atleast by the time its released in other parts of the world it will be perfect for you😎

They approved me for 6500 limit. I got offended and declined.
If you spend more than $6,500 a month, then I'd be offended too.

I ended up getting it.. Yea they seem to give low limits this is my second lowest limit at 10k.. Discover and Chase give higher limits and it helps out with the utilization.. Also check out Citi double cash card that’s in my top 3 right now and gives 2% on every purchase.. For travel and restaurants check out the Sapphire.. My bad I know you didn’t ask but figure since you declined that one.. Here’s some options and maybe it will work out better for you..
Miguel Vargas OMG if one more person recommends the Citi Double Cash I’m going to have a mental breakdown. I’ve had it since my early days of building credit I was one of their high value accounts. Citi has still managed to make me hate them. Redeeming benefits was like pulling teeth. Chase and I have had a love hate relationship I have the Sapphire preferred and the the freedom. Amex is by far my best experience My platinum card has been swiped all across the country for sometimes ridiculous quantities and has always been reliable. Discover used to be on of my sweethearts but since I got out of the cash back game they decided to start removing benefits I barely ever use it.
If you think you feel safe by using Apple card on some 'bad' sites Apple will know. May be used against you in the future.
Tips and tricks. Tip 1 if you get a credit card, you’ll be in debt. The trick is to not use credit cards. Tip 2...just pay cash for things.
Orrrrrr you could use it responsibly, and build credit...
Tip #1 for you: Be financially responsible and only pay for things you can afford? Good luck getting approved for a home or a car not having any credit.

You must be a power user! Or at least someone who's really good with tech -- which is great! BUt a lot of people still don't know even the basics! It's been out a while now but a lot of how it works is really different from other cards
