Are there institutions in your area that teach basket weaving, traditional cooking, jewelry making, canoe building etc? I'm nterested in your culture, it's VERY similar to mine but majority of your elders with these skills are either dead or refuse to pass down the knowledge.

wananavu... that coconut syrup in Fiji we call it Lolo... and it's great with pancakes too!!!
