Today, using this video on another computer as a guide, I managed to replace my laptop battery with you guiding my hand along the way.

The one part I needed to see had his hands in the way - unplugging the battery cable.

Thank you. Super video. Particularly reassured by the "this can be tricky" regarding removing the cover. Having not done this before I wouldn't have expected it to be quite so cumbersome, without your guidance. Thanks

Thank you so much for this. I couldn't have changed my failing battery without this very helpful guide.

Thank you! Video was excellent and saved me a ton of money replacing the battery myself. Only video around, I found, that showed this process for the XPS 13 9360.

I don't usually comment, but this guide was really helpful! It was a peace of cake! Even managed to clean the fans. Thanks!

Thank you so much for this extremely helpful vid. Today I managed to change the battery on my XPS 13 by following your step-by-step video. To pry open the outer shell after removing all the screws, since I don’t have the instrument that you used, I improvised a bit, and ran it under like your instruction. It popped out one by one exactly like in this vid. My laptop came to life with a new battery now. You’re a life saver!

I just watched this video and then went ahead and replaced the battery in my laptop. So long as you have the replacement battery and the tools it was pretty straightforward. I'm 68 and female lol

Excellent well paced and informative. video. My XPS 13 battery dies very suddenly on battery power at around 90 minutes, even though its often showing about 50% battery life left just before it goes into limp mode and dies. I'm assuming that the battery could do with replacing as when I first got it it was comfortably doing 2 to 3 hours. I'm using it for sports photography outdoors.

Thank you. Just did the battery part now. Immediately noticed that the trackpad is working much better (clicks and movement both). Unrelated to the battery per se, but maybe there was dust in there, and blowing it out helped.

This is a very nice vid on how to replace the battery. The only thing that holds me back from doing it - apart from the fact that I haven't got a replacement laptop - is that the crucial part : disconnecting the battery is not really shown, although this is quite important. Reading the other comments, I learn that this is not so easy. It would be nice to elaborate a bit more on that part. For the rest, nice vid !
