Just bought one of these. Wish I'd seen this video before I purchased, pretty much every decent rifle I own shoots this well and some are far, far better - including my SCAR 16. I certainly hope mine shoots tighter groups when I get it out.
Make sure you use Gold Medal Match and I think that will give you the best groups possible. Good luck and If you do shoot some five shot groups with yours let us know how it does. Thanks for watching.
Adrenalinwill USA. This was a real world test with real world shooters. The numbers will fall where they fall, just like any rifle purchased from your retail gun shop. Shooter and Ammo will certainly play a part which is why we tested 4 different rounds with 3 Shooters at different levels of experience. The best this rifle shot with our ammo was 1.55” for a 5 shot group. 4 of those shots were measured at .71 MOA. Very nice and certainly shows the rifles true capabilities. We’ll have to agree to disagree on the disservice to the rifle. As we said in the video, we’ll get some FGM Match and come back again and see how that ammo does on this one of a kind Awesome Battle-Ready Firearm. @@alwprecisionshooters4757 is right, very few shooters can do "near perfect" shooting, level of experience of the shooter, wind conditions, bullet co efficiency, type of gun powder used, bullet weight, distance, fluctuation in temperature and air pressure will effect how each shot places. there is a reason why those factory targets always look good compared to anyone on an outside range. factory ranges control almost all of these factors.

I think the gun is capable of the advertised 1 MOA group and I also feel it will help to try Barlow’s suggestion in getting some Federal GMM to run through it. @@paulvaden6990 I experienced basically the same with PPU M80 ball. Just over a minute at 100yds. That was also before I put the new trigger in so I'm hoping for some improvement there during the upcoming spring.
Man you guys need to get some better ammo. Watching this was painful. This rifle should be producing 1 MOA groups with 168-175 grain FGMM or gorilla ammo. Coulda woulda shoulda....don’t take out shots
Not very impressive for 4k. My $900 rifle is just as if not arguably more accurate. I have noticed the groups tighten up considerably with a suppressor.
M. Shade. Since this isn’t my gun, I’m going to give an unbiased opinion on the rifle, especially since I had the chance to handle it and shoot it. Is this rifle Bolt-Gun accurate? No..FN claims it will shoot 1 MOA. Can it do that? Probably. It shot 1.55” and maybe it would shoot better with Federal Gold Medal Match and I’m sure a highly trained shooter can shoot it better than either one of us. Here’s the bottom line...This gun is not designed for shooting groups. It is designed to be a drop dead reliable battle-ready gun you can put your life on the line with. Will it do that? Hell yes! If I was going to Hell on Earth where our troops go to defend our freedom, I would absolutely carry this gun with me! I personally have 2 FN rifles and they are phenomenal. Is this one expensive, yes. Would rather spend $1500 or a rifle that jams on a variety of ammo or in 5 years it’s a piece of crap that you can’t sell for a third of what you paid for it? Maybe there’s some jealousy coming through on your part that a twenty something kid has the cash to buy a gun like this. I would certainly bet you on this...in 10 years, this gun will hold its value and be worth every penny he paid for it. Thanks for the comment M. Shade and thanks for watching.
The rolex Collector. There are a ton of guns that will shoot tighter groups than the FN Scar. Sure, I have guns that out shoot that gun too. Now, not sure how many other guns in the same category can be buried in sand, pulled out dunked in water, then buried in mud, dunked in water again, thrown off bridge onto a gravel creek bank, ran over by someone on a side by side passing by, then picked up and click off 20 rounds at a 300 yards gong without skipping a beat....That’s what you get from an FN Scar. Wouldn’t is be easier to give specifics on your rifle and how it compares to a 20 instead making a statement like you were arguing with another kid on the playground at school? The owner of this rifle never claimed to shoot lights out or any specifics about accuracy. He only put the video out there for informational purposes. The owner of this rifle did say he would like to try shooting some Federal GMM 168g as that is what has shot the best through this rifle during factory testing. The scar 17 can put up these types of numbers. I’m unsure if I see the 800 dollar difference between the scar 17 vs the scar 20

the scar 20s can do much better groups than this I own one and can shoot quite a bit better than this try fgmm 168 and 175
