Wow, I bawled and bawled when Natalie started playing, I don't know why I just couldn't help it. Why was this beautiful angel not recognised earlier. What an amazing legacy she has left her son, I could see her playing at Sydney Opera House with Lang Lang she is so good. I hope she gets recognised for her dedication to her craft in some way, she really deserves it.

Hey Matthew, it’s so great you have decided to put up videos of your mom playing the piano. She’s truly one of the rare kind of people who were born to be artists, the way she plays the piano is breathtaking. A raw, beautiful soul I’m so glad I got to know today.
I remember her when she was living on the streets of Hobart, that most beautiful soul I have ever met. I remember Natalie telling me about how free she felt living on the streets and her love for music. This was in the early 90's. Im glad that she is still alive and well and playing in Melbourne, I wish I saw her there when I was there in '19 because I had never heard her play live. This is a woman I admire greatly.
One of the greatest composers and piano players of the modern age, in my humble opinion... And all for the sake of loving her art form. Not for fame, not for money, just for the people. Truly inspiring.

You don't understand poetry. It's not just quotable quotes, just like she doesn't just do scales. And if she was a poet, she'd be one. So many people can't 'hear' poetry as a separate thing from music. That's why they gave the Nobel literature prize to Bob Dylan. His music might be good but his lyrics are very average, and it aint a music prize.

The poor is a population, a society, its own race, ethnicity and culture. A Social level, that could be considered as its own race of poor, rich or accepted or not. A crowd that does have its own integrity, humanity. Society is a bias system, and she is living proof. I have accepted my life w/ all my talents, it is not about where I want to be in society, but where society need me. And she has given to society and defined its very being.

I am so sad for her. Imagine her life if she was discovered 60 years ago. She would be world famous. I see this diamond that is just now being discovered and is so late in her life. /tears The things you can find on TH-cam. Amazing.
What Ive learned is that age and lack of notoriety sometimes makes these people more magnificent. If she was discovered 60 years ago she'd just be another big musician with a short career in the spotlight, like Yani or Keiko Matsui etc. But she looks like she lived a good complete life. Her doing this now for street cred serves her even better. It is giving her "end of life" purpose that further fulfills her already long history. It give her a reason to wake up each day. It is also a testament to the arts of the past. To the idea of aged geniuses like Mozart. Seeing her makes you remember that talent is forever if maintained. I think her discovery as an old woman is absolutely perfect for her and for us. I want to be like her in m40 years. Playing my piano on the street just because. Making people wonder what song im playing, how I learned it, what my life was like. She is my end of life goal. …… of course id be playing music from Chrono Trigger, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy :D

The poor is a population, a society, its own race, ethnicity and culture. A Social level, that could be considered as its own race of poor, rich or accepted or not. A crowd that does have its own integrity, humanity. Society is a bias system, and she is living proof. I have accepted my life w/ all my talents, it is not about where I want to be in society, but where society need me. And she has given to society and defined its very being.

I am so sad for her. Imagine her life if she was discovered 60 years ago. She would be world famous. I see this diamond that is just now being discovered and is so late in her life. /tears
The things you can find on TH-cam. Amazing.
What Ive learned is that age and lack of notoriety sometimes makes these people more magnificent. If she was discovered 60 years ago she'd just be another big musician with a short career in the spotlight, like Yani or Keiko Matsui etc.
But she looks like she lived a good complete life. Her doing this now for street cred serves her even better. It is giving her "end of life" purpose that further fulfills her already long history. It give her a reason to wake up each day.
It is also a testament to the arts of the past. To the idea of aged geniuses like Mozart. Seeing her makes you remember that talent is forever if maintained.
I think her discovery as an old woman is absolutely perfect for her and for us.
I want to be like her in m40 years. Playing my piano on the street just because. Making people wonder what song im playing, how I learned it, what my life was like. She is my end of life goal. …… of course id be playing music from Chrono Trigger, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy :D
What a beautiful gift God our Creator has given to Natalie! I listen to her play and it brings joy to my heart. Actually I never really liked the sound the piano made until I listened to her play! Thank you Natalie for your love for music and thank you Heavenly Father for giving such a wonderful gift to Natalie!!!
