Belated best wishes to Jeff love his videos, love seeing the lobsters swimming I think I heard that one laughing as it swam away. I'd no idea it got so crowded out there,ther'yll be no lobsters left in the area 🥺I was realy worried looked so risky at these rocks, and thought if the bottom of Lynsey B is so close to kelp it must be realy shallow I was paddling away from the rocks and I was in the house. Loved seeing the crab and you telling us, about it, it's awful they'll even take notched lobsters it's realy sad the greed

Yeahbit was a tad shallow..I think we only had another 15 mins or so, then there wouldn't be enough water to pull that fleet....but everything was with us. Yeah, the greed of the men at this time of year is stupid, however I don't really blame them completely. Hi. Thank you for the wonderful comment. Yes, the wooden ones are weighted, and there is also a heavy weight in between to get them to the bottom. Once they are "soaked up" then they will be worked as normal creels.😁👌 Glad you enjoyed the vlog. All the very best.😊
Hi lobsterman. In this area, with these folks, yeah, you need two, as I've only ever seen 1 v notched lobsters come back aboard after the hundreds I've done....so where are all they all gone.🤔...probably didn't make it with these rogues.🙄 🤷♂️
@@onemanandhisboat Exactly that. And there'll be people who will rip that bit of the tail off and plead ignorance. If 2 sections are torn off then you can guarantee that someones intervened and therefore you don't land it. Not only that, it's possible for the v notched section to become damaged so why not double the chances of protecting her?

I looked this up before I posted it, just in case there was a difference of meaning through a cultural divide, and it was a good job I did. I was going to post 'that looked hairy' which, in my neck of the woods, London, means 'that looked scary'. Evidently north of the wall it has an entirely different meaning. Quoting from Urban Dictionary it means; Undesirable young woman from Glasgow. Commonly (although not necessarily) from the schemes, usually fat and hacket with a perm. Schemes? Hacket?
