I’ve had a lot of problems with my appearance, especially recently, I just found out my crush doesn’t like me back. So I’ve been very insecure seeing every little minor detail about myself that I personally think, isn’t pretty. My hand looks to big for my wrist, my arms are to skinny for my body, my feet are to big for my ankles. All those things are things that I’ve noticed about myself. This isn’t me fishing for compliments, I just wanted somewhere to vent and I felt this was one of the few places where I wouldn’t be judged for it.
I hope you can learn to love yourself even little bit at a time. Love your feet that take you where you need to go, your hands that do the things you need to do, etc ❤ You were wonderfully and fearfully made

honestly its normal to feel like that sometimes, esp after that your crush rejected you. however if its a long term problem, if i may give you an advice : fake it till you make it. i had a lot of body image issues and i just started pretending i liked how i look (saying to myself "i really look good today" in front of the mirror, walking like i had all the confidence in the world etc) and it legit worked for me

These criticisms are CRAZY. I absolutely hated being a young girl in the 90s/00s, it was really like this.
I'm sorry you grew up when it was like this...I was in first grade in 2000, so I do remember these trends, and sadly I had anorexia back then due to them. I graduated in 2012 and that's when trends changed alot, so I stopped plucking my eyebrows, i stopped putting foundation on my lips and back combing my hair; and I finally stopped worrying about being superrrr skinny. And now all the trends are so different again! Thigh gaps are a thing still, ironically, but it's also trendy to be slim thick, and have a big booty! (Thank God for that!) Which I'm doing squats for and buying shapewear for! 🤭😅 I'm so glad it's not the early 2000s anymore...but crazy trends will always be a thing. All we can do is be ourselves and do what makes us happy, confident and beautiful. Screw these judges and their unrealistic "beauty" ideals.

Now you need to have the curves of an overweight woman, but the limbs and the flat stomach of a skinny underweight girl. You also need to have Eurocentric features and to be exotic at the same time.
