Oooh we had this show in Denmark too, but it was canceled pretty quickly because we found it distasteful and depressing to see people ruin their lives on TV. We are also a very small country, so there's a pretty good chance that you'd know at least one person involved with the show. Ergo - hits a little too close to home.

I understand why the wife wanted him to continue, like the questions are revealing bigger sins each time, he has already confessed hard things for her to take, but it was alright. The thing is she knows there are more questions, thus that he is probably hiding more. This program was the only way for her, who has trust issues to know for sure every single things she's insecure about. Like she was already hurt that evening, the damage is done. And besides that she's daily suffering of her jealousy. Like she still doesn't know it all, and now everybody who've watch that program knows them... I guess it's worse than before. If he had answered everything she could be more in peace with what she must do with that relation. Divorce or continue with less unanswered questions, in both case with a lot of money. She needs therapy for sure, finishing the game wouldn't have solve her problem completely but I somehow think they went to far, or not far enough.
