Wow. I was in high school in the 2000’s but I never saw any of these body judging shows. I finally understand why some people in my life were SO critical of every detail of their bodies. Interestingly I experience more Baby Boomer and Gen X talking like this. These shows must’ve hit them at a more vulnerable point.
