I am from the disco generation and let me tell you when we were going out, we were DANCING all night long ! This was the BEST period and the best music of all time! Fun...fun...fun ! Of course, there was some people taking the all dancing floor to make a show but it was worth, you would of loved it !! Thanks for sharing our past with your good reaction !

Me too. Disco generation. The ones who could dance up a storm somehow parted the sea of dancers without trying. I remember there was always some smart--- who was just great and twirled two girls around at a time. Such a great time.

The three Gibb brothers were appointed 'Commanders of the Order of the British Empire' (CBE) in 2002. On May 2, 2004, Barry and Robin received their awards at Buckingham Palace, along with their nephew Adam, who collected the award on behalf of his father Maurice, who had died in January 2003. Gibb was also awarded a knighthood in the 2018 New Year Honours. He was also made an 'Honorary Companion of the Order of Australia' on January 27, 2022, in the 2022 Special Honours for eminent service to the performing arts as a musician, songwriter and record producer, to the advancement of Australian music artists and to philanthropy. During the ceremony of being knighted, Prince Charles, (now King Charles) told him he could get up from his kneeling position. Barry said, "I don't think I can." Arthritis had set in. He has that in his fingers too. His title is Sir Barry Alan Crompton Gibb CBE.
