They were all married.
Barry took his wife and children with him for every event
That was real singing. No fake stuff like today.
I’m in my 60’s and watching your reaction brings me joy because your comments are so on point and your smile is to die for…
Thanks for appreciating our era of music..
Back in our day was for sure… LIT 🔥
They're brothers. Brothers Gibb. I thought they were angels on my radio. Age 13.
Me too!! 😍😍😍
No mixing there it’s stand an deliver it brilliant
All royalties from this song are given to UNICEF in perpeturity
Three Angels singing.
This is one of the best descriptions of them - ever!
Great reaction ! So sad for Barry to lose all his brothers Maurice, Robin and Andy RIP
Nobody will ever be like them. Nobody.
You can always see the smiles coming when new listeners hear these tunes.
Just Perfection
You know they were! 😁😄😆😂🤣 And yes, they were that good!
🤣🤣🤣
Yes. This is Next level ! One take. One microphone. Three talents ! Brothers Gibb. On the level of their own! 👍
Far from one take. This was the most complex song of the album to record - The recording process was the longest of all the tracks on Spirits Having Flown as there are nine layers of three-part harmony, creating 27 voices, though the high falsetto voices are the most pronounced in the final mix:
Barry on falsetto lead three times
falsetto high harmony three times
falsetto low harmony three times
Barry on natural voice lead three times
high harmony three times
low harmony three times
Barry, Robin and Maurice together on lead three times
high harmony three times
low harmony three times

1:26 smile first appears, doesn’t go away until after the song ends. And that’s The Bee Gees. Awesome Reaction..
These songs came out way before Auto-Tune. This was a time when people actually had to have vocal talent and ability, and they definitely have it!🙂
so true....any one could sell records if they had talent
Talent and years and years of practice and experience! The Brothers Gibb were already seasoned professionals in their home country of Australia before breaking into the American music scene.
@@erinmoriarity4775 100% true. They were singing together as children.
As good as this song is even if auto tune was around (I know its not) auto tune wouldn't have anything to do the song is perfect!
Your smile is priceless.❤
That's their. Real voices no machines. Pure talent.
British...and fabulous
The best of the seventies...their late sixties music was also good!
The Bee Gees were their own genre, nobody else can ever replicate them or even come close.
First song I heard was I started joke when I was a kid. Lol still my favorite ❤ Robin was the one. RIP love you Robin
If he touches the trash it turns to gold.
Watch their "How Deep is your Love"
I'm completely old school and listen to musicians who don't need Auto-Tune. The technology is creating an illusion. People are paying a lot of money to listen to voices that don't exist.
Love your reactions to the Bee Gee's... Thanks for keeping it real... 💯 💙
The Bee Gees was a big part of my childhood and there will never be a better group like this ever again.
Ditto
Same, this silly old lady still listens everyday ❤❤❤
Ditto
Absolutely!!!
Indeed!
That smile….welcome to our world❤
There was a baby boom when that song came out 👍🏻🤣🤣🎶🎶🎶
Lol, it was amazing watching your reaction, I couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear 😊
HAHAHAHA!!! You were TOTALLY MAN-CRUSHING over Barry!!!! Not gonna' lie!!!! SO WAS I!!!!!
Us baby boomers had the best music 🎶,, and we still get to listen to it!;😊
Once in a lifetime talent...
all the proceeds from this record were donated to UNICEF.
The singer in the center Barry Gibb the one that the women went crazy for he was married for 57 years same woman 👠 that's what you call love
The smile on your face was there most of the song
timeless
2:48 the way "...than my liiiiifffeee..." pulled that smile onto your face - this could not be faked.
I love men's reactions to Them.Yall respect it.
Have you seen documentary called BeeGees Official Story: this is where I came in?!!!
To much Heaven the Bee Gees donated the royalties to UNICEF in 1979 and the royalties have reached 7 million dollars, the song was a hit in USA and Canada and many countries, and the Bee Gees had 6 consecutive No 1 hits which equaled Bing Crosby and Elvis Presley , great reaction thanks!
The last reliable tally I saw was May 17, 2017, on the Bee Gees Twitter account, saying UNICEF had received about $11 million from Too Much Heaven (no doubt it's higher now). I’ve seen posts say it hit 20 million as of 2019, but I haven’t found any actual source for that. Barry included the song on his 2021 hit album, Greenfields, so that (duet with Alison Krauss) will bring UNICEF even more $$.
This chocolate girl, in the day, just knew I would marry Barry Gibbs/the lead singer one day. 🤎🤎🤎🖤🖤🖤. Nephew please react to "Fannie be tender with my heart " by the Bee 🐝. Gees.
There are videos of the Bee Gees that date back to 1960. :)
Barry, the man in the middle, has been married 54 years with 5 children and 7 grandchildren
Live performance, symphony, ONE TAKE. No auto tune. Plus they donated all proceeds for this song to UNICEF. Still today. Brothers Gibb (BeeGees) are incredibly special.
Perfection 💞
These brothers can't be tied down to any particular genre......they have done everything from ballads to R&B to disco to ssoul to country soft rock they spanned over 5 decades and I'm sure would have still been at it if the 2 younger brothers Robin and Maurice had not passed on.....they were twins BTW.....
That is heartbreaking. I'm glad they let their voices be heard and left behind an incredible legacy making so many people feel joy and happiness!
These guys were incredible. They wrote over 1000 songs in there career .Only Barry is left. They had a fourth brother Andy Gibb who died young due to suicide who sang falsetto too and had many solo hits in the late 70s
@@Anthony__420 Andy Gibb certainly did not commit suicide.....he died of myocarditis..an inflammation of the heart muscles....he was in England in Robin's house when he collapsed and was taken to hospital by ambulance....his mother accompanied him....he died in hospital 3 days later...
@@rbaruah8790- I hate it when some dummy says Andy committed suicide. Clueless. He has a daughter who has to hear such garbage.
@@susieq9801 I know......I always try to set the record straight when I come across comments like this.....wish people would do more research before commenting.......
A lot of babies were made to this song. And you can bet the women were visualizing Barry. 🤣❤
There 4th brother who committed suicide was fantastic too and looked like barry so sad such a loss rip andy..nz❤
Andy Gibb did not do that. He died of heart failure.
"Stayin' Alive" is The Bee Gees signature song, but "Too Much Heaven" is their masterpiece.
Barry perfects the best ever falsetto! Also when he’s at his highest pitch, both Maurice and Robin are easily able to instantly reach that same high not and blend the harmonies all together. I don’t think any other group could do that, but because they are all brothers the genes come into play being so similar. But it’s obviously the practiced skill and time put in on the work that really comes out.
Footnote: They rehearsed this for a week in the studio with the orchestra they shot the video live.
Afterwards they donated the video and rights to the song to UNICEF,
It has raised more than 11 million for UNICEF and continues to raise money for them as all proceeds from TH-cam go to them.
The Brothers Gibb!
Can you believe none of them can read or write music. Geniuses
Actually They all wrote 99% of their own music as well as writing for other artist! Inducted into the writers hall of fame! Just a piece of info.. go down the rabbit hole you won’t be disappointed I promise! Over 5 decades of music 😉 yes I’m a huge fan and grew up with their songs from the 60’s and up! It’s why us older folks say music today will never compare to the artist back in the day😉
@@rhondabeaulieu4633I think what they meant is putting it down on paper. They wrote ALL their songs. Barry did. Songwriter extraordinaire.
BeeGees are the greatest singers/songwriters in the world. Nooooo. Not just a disco group. Barry would get pissed when anybody referred them to that title. They wrote over 1000 songs. They started singing in 1958. (Just small lads at that time). They have hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and even into 2000. Barry is the bearded one with the beautiful teeth. Fraternal twins Robin and Maurice are the other 2. Robin is on the left. Mo on right.
I love how rich their history is, I had no idea!
Look at them only 1 mlc. The other stuff that singers use now cause they can't sing wasn't discovered back then
....... and don't forget hit songs they wrote for other artists.
Correction it's 2000 songs. Been updated
All you have to do is watch some of these ladies reacting to this video to see theyre just as powerful as ever. Girls be swoonin'!
I saw them in concert, My parents took me to see them. I was 7 I believe. Matt C.
This is as close as you can get to a vocally perfect live performance!
It’s not live.
@@maelilmc4079 But wait a minute dumbass ....you can actually see and also hear them perform the song ....LIVE ON CAMERA!
An interesting fact about one Bee Gees song is that you can do CPR to “Staying Alive”. You have to admit that it is ironic that the perfect beat to do CPR was the 70s hit.
I grow up with the best Group ever. Amazing Voices Amazing Song Amazing Bee Gees ❤❤❤
Hands on hips and really cute tight jeans. ❤❤❤❤
Yes, this was recorded live with an orchestra and Chicago's band section did the horn work. The Bee Gees wanted to always be able to replicate live the way their songs sounded on albums so they often toured with full piece orchestras as well as Chicago's horn section. Because of that the Bee Gees are one of the very few bands that absolutely sounded as good, if not better, live as they did on albums. They could sing a cappella at the drop of a hat without any warm-up at all, and as you can see and hear from Too Much Heaven their harmonies were tight! Oh and, yeahhh, they were ridiculously handsome too!
You’re a kool dude great reaction great song I share your love of music I’m 57 and I have a vast library of just great music. Helps you get through this crazy world sometimes.
Majestic!
Listen to Massachusetts by the Beegees. It’s awesome and you will love it.
Barry. Gets mistaken for a black guy because his voice is so soulful. . The notes. Are just amazing he hits .
There awesome 👌
This was a live recording. All proceeds went and still goes to UNICEF. Over 11million and counting
So impressive!
Early 60s here. They were dubbed disco, but were influenced by so many artists. Never would have dropped my panties for any of them, I do have morals even when it comes to The Bee Gees. :) Anyway, we were in high school then. We sang and danced to their music like it was no tomorrow. Our guy friends were so jealous of them. He and his wife have been l married for over 50 years. One of the best groups in my lifetime. Barry wrote 3 hits for his youngest brother, Andy, who had a solo career.
Just makes me float! My favorite song of all time. Your reactions are making my Labor Day Monday a great afternoon! One BeeGees song after another!❤❤❤
This is such a beautiful romantic song.
Wonderful, the soundtrack of my youth.
natural voices, no aids, just pure talent....LOVE your reaction!!
Barry wasn't always the lead singer. All brothers sang lead. Here all three are singing falsetto. Robin had a unique vibrato that Barry said NOBODY would even try to copy. He said Robin's voice was "killer".
They were more R&B and Pop than disco. The Bee Gees were out before they invented autotune to alter people's voices, that is how they sing, they can actually sing. Unlike most singers today who are models who lip sync. They are 3 brothers and Barry, in the middle, is the only one still alive and making music too. Barry has been married over 50 years. His last album in 2021 was a number 1 here and in England.
Aloha Texas enjoy your timeline like the reactions too am a fan from an ex marine Vietnam era music keeps us alive stay in good spirits and best of health keep the faith oooorah ciaos
Howdy! Be blessed, brother! These great songs lift the soul and heal the spirit!
The Falsetto voice was introduced incidentally when they recorded the song “ Nights on Broadway “ when they re-inventing their style of music in the mid 1970’s.
There's a funny spoof of this song by TNT boys. It's spot on
The change of how they sing "too" at 5:11 makes the song even better
They donated all the proceeds from this song to UNICEF.
These guys are from my era have always loved them and their music, it makes me happy to see younger people like you really digging this kinda music, you have such a happy smile as you listen to each song, also you remind me of Barry's oldest son Steven
Talent you forgot Andy there's a recording of him with his brothers
The Bee Gees don't always sing in falsetto. They did not discover their falsetto voices until years after they started singing.
Barry Gibb was born in 1946. The other two brothers are fraternal twin, Robin and Maurice. They were born in 1949. They started singing when Barry was 8 and the twins Maurice and Robin were 5. They formed the Bee Gees in music group in 1958. They wrote and produced over 1,000 songs over 5 decades and wrote for Diana Ross, Dion Warrick, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton and even Michael Jackson. They were musical geniuses. They constantly reinvented themselves, constantly growing as singers and song writers.
They have sold over 120 million records worldwide (with estimates as high as over 225 million records sold worldwide), making them among the best-selling music artists of all time. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997; the Hall's citation says, "Only Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks and Paul McCartney have outsold the Bee Gees." With nine number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, the Bee Gees are the third-most successful band in Billboard charts history behind only the Beatles and the Supremes.
Following Maurice's sudden death in January 2003 at the age of 53, Barry and Robin retired the group's name after 45 years of activity. In 2009, Robin announced that he and Barry had agreed that the Bee Gees would re-form and perform again. Robin died in May 2012, aged 62, after a prolonged period of failing health, leaving Barry as the only surviving member of the group. Their younger brother Andy was about 10 years younger than the twins. He formed his own group and was as talented as his older brothers. He did sing with the Bee Gees a few times. Andy died in 1988 from inflammation of the years, as a result of a viral infection.
Barry is the only Bee Gee who is still alive. At 76 years old he's still writing songs, performing, and putting out albums.
What a lot of people don't know is that there are 5 siblings in the Gibb family. The eldest is their sister, Lesley. She is about a year and a half older than Barry. She was apparently a talented singer herself, and briefly performed with the Bee Gees when Robin left for a short period of time in 1969, but she found live performances nerve-wracking. That was her only time in show business, and she quit when Robin returned to the Bee Gees, never to perform again. She is still alive and living in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales with her husband of 56 years. They have 8 children.
Actually the Falsetto was being used by Maurice in the late 60’s. “Let there be love” starts and ends with Maurices falsetto.
I had their 8 track tapes in my car in the 70’s, wow say them live too
1950’s thru 2012! They wrote over 1000 songs!!!!!!!
The greatest love song ever, sung by 3 of the most talented guys ever, plus I wonder how many kids were conceived to this song?
Great question! Millions I bet lol
Believe it!!💕💕💕
All the brother have taken the lead before
I loved how your smile got bigger the more you were mesmerized by their beautiful Talent
they didnt have autotune or anything that changed their voices. What you see is what you get.
I've listened to the bee gees for 60 years and I love them over the years they got stronger and stronger at one point the BBC refused to play their song.the bee gees kept coming back with more hits and their ball kept rolling it's good that Barry is still singing him I saw him live in Manchester England.and I was overwhelmed thank you for playing their songs I've to many memories to chose from......
Barry can even sing country
They all could, eg, "Hold her in your hand" (Maurice) or "Road to Alaska" (Robin) but Robin disliked country and so do I.
Barry Gibb is 75 years old this year and still producing and writing music. He was recently just inducted into the country music Hall of Fame by Ricky Skaggs and team. They have written music and every genre you can imagine except for maybe jazz and wrap
Barry was 76,this year.
He's also been married to the same woman 50+ years
Great falsetto
There's two very distinct Era disco vs 60s. All good barry. The twins. Robin and maurice. Look at fanny be tender. . Or summer rain by Johnnie rivers. Nice to meet you♡ beegees thought they were more R&B
Nice to meet you! Fanny be Tender was a great song!
Suggestion: Lonely Days, Bee Gees (1970). You will be pleasantly surprised!
Robin and Maurice had sublime voices, but Barry’s voice is in another universe entirely 👌🏻 If this is heaven, I’m gonna be good from now on 🙏🏻
BeeGees one of Gods gifts to humanity!
Bee Gees Uk band they always considered themselves first and foremost song writers before being vocalist but they were amazing talented vocalist, no Auto tune in them days just pure genius and talent, Bee Gees have written for many artists including Diana Ross, Dolly Parton and kenny Rogers,Barbara Streisand, and many others and also written for films like Saturday night Fever and Grease both films staring John Travolta, The Bee Gees have sold over 250 million albums worldwide, and the 3 brothers have hits over 6 decades, absolutely amazing talented artists , great reaction thanks 🙏
Thank you for the history!
@@Texas_Love but they grew up in australia, and that had a b8g effect on them.
@@kathleenmayhorne3183 That's true I actually met the twins here in Australia at Bronte Beach when they were about 17 or so. they loved Australia but it's true they did go back to the UK and America to follow their success. But I'd like to think they were grounded here..lol
@@justlinsu - They left Australia less than a month after the twins turned 17 in 1967. They were Manx by birth and British citizens. Started their career in Australia but the market there did not give them big enough exposure to succeed. Everything at that time was based in the UK, the British Invasion, so that's where they had to go.
Aussie band
It just doesn't get better than that. Smooth, velvet, butter. It just floats like a cloud. Amazing.
Your so right🥰
How Do You Mend A Broken Heart. One of Beegees best.
