I think I remember Barry saying it was his idea for the explosion but between all three of them, there's no limit to ideas .. they seemed to live every moment in a creative mindset

Words is the best love song - and was written in the sixties when they were very young. Other good songs - Massachussetts, One, Alone, etc.

3 brothers, one microphone. That's how they rolled!❤ and they wrote the melody 1st and once it was finished, they wrote lyrics to fit. They never altered the finished melody.

Morris was the brains behind a lot of the music and “ special “ effects, he was very humble , this 3 guys were superb and we agree that they were the best band ever , magnificent musicians .

I grew up with this great group. I especially love their early music from the 60's-70's. Barry has a great falsetto voice. Some of their early hits were "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "To Love Somebody", "Holiday", "Massachusetts", "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "Words", "The Singer Sang His Song", "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", "Lonely Days", "I Started A Joke", "Melody Fair", "First of May", "Give Your Best", "Lamplight" etc.
And don't forget "Run To Me," "Tomorrow, Tomorrow ," "I Started A Joke ," just to name a few more!

Isn't it phantastic? In 1975, when falsetto singin', mainly by Barry came along, I was kinda shocked and first thought about studioeffects to make it happen. Breathing helium or so. But no, soon after I realised it's nothing like that. Thank god, so I believed in their true, professional character. And all three of them were able to sing so, but Barry holding such notes a whole song thru', vibrato included. Their harmonies always were on top and bringin' in falsetto expanded their range up to a unreachable level. For excample, there's a track called 'Lovers'. Check it out and you can hear all three brothers singin' in their different abilities. It's art in music!

“Love So Right” I think was from the “Children Of The World” album a few years prior to “Spirits Having Flown” and Saturday Night Fever, but yes, in the same era. The version from “Here At Last Live” album is even better than the studio version - definitely worth a listen!

Bee Gees- Love You Inside Out was a Billboard #1 falsetto song from the disco era. I love that song at it has been sampled by people like Snoop Dogg and others. I would also love a reaction to Bee Gees- "Baby As You Turn Away" from the 1975 album Main Course (Not Falsetto)

You might like the Bee Gees song they wrote for someone else but much later they did record it themselves and I believe theirs is the best version, it's called "Will you still love me tomorrow"
Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow was written by Carole King & Gerry Goffin. It was a big hit for Carole in 1971 & the Bee Gees recorded it on a tribute album for her in 1995.🎶
